Went here during grand opening weekend (crazy I know) - while crowded they still were able to handle it accordingly with fresh food! A lot of options , but I judge a Chinese buffet if they have good basic food: beef & broccoli at the Mongolian grill, basic chicken & broccoli, and good Chinese fried chicken wings. The chicken & broccoli at this buffet was one of the best I had. So was the beef and broccoli at the grill. The fried chicken wings were unfortunately lacking. They only had buffalo wings - not what I would expect at a Chinese buffet. Service was great for a busy night. The lion dance while eating (two shows within 1hr) - could've been a shorter show or outside. All in all.. not sure if I'll be back, unless fried chicken wings get on the menu.

We decided to visit Lins for a family birthday and they had your standard Chinese buffet options. Good and clean establishment, a bit on the smaller side. Daniella was our server and did a great job anticipating our needs and making sure our table was cleared in a timely manner.

Worth a try if you're close or in the area (located in Cypress)! The buffet wasn't anything special, to be honest. It's good if you're local to it but definitely not worth the drive. The foods were definitely fresh and had sushi and even grill options. I will say, their crawfish wasn't that good. Very bland. The service was decent and buffet was very new and clean.

My experience at Lin's Grand Buffet was good overall, mainly because of the food, but the service at check in took away from the experience. When I arrived, the girl at the front named Zaniya was very rude and had an attitude from the start. I told her I needed a table for two. She then mumbled something about drinks, and when I replied yes, she responded with an attitude saying "Yes what? Water or soda?" I was confused because she never clearly asked that question to begin with. After that, the girl with red hair also gave my wife and I attitude, which made the entire check in process feel very unwelcoming. Despite that, we did not let the service ruin our visit. The food itself was delicious. I especially loved the pineapple chicken, which was easily my favorite dish. The buffet had a good variety and most of the food was well prepared. The dessert section was disappointing. The quality was not great overall, with only a couple of items being decent. The ice cream tasted very artificial and was not enjoyable. Overall, I would definitely come back for the food, but I would not expect welcoming service. Hopefully this is something management can improve, because the food deserves a better first impression.

I don't think anything here is good. It didn't feel fresh. Some things I just literally couldn't chew through. And it's not that big. U also have to pay first and then wait for your number to be called and that could be a while. I do not recommend. I would not be shocked if I get a tummy ache later today... this is a very small buffet... I'm not sure why it's advertising largest. Is it largest chain maybe?? I do know but I'm never coming back. Also there was like no air flow and it was incredibly hot and muggy.

Went during their grand opening and got to watch the lion dance. It was so fun and I think everyone had a great time. Price is affordable and the place is clean and honestly it doesn't look like a Chinese buffet at all. Food selection could be better and most of the items were a little bit on the saltier end of the spectrum. My favorite had to be the cajun seafood-- the seasoning was PERFECT. For a buffet, you can't beat it. I died when I saw the soft serve ice cream at the dessert station. I think it's been well over 20 something years since I've last seen a buffet having soft serve. It's usually those ice cream cups that don't really taste like ice cream at your typical buffets so I was quite excited. The point I deducted was after coming back with my ice cream, I saw my entire table cleared out. And so did my Touchland hand sanitizer I had left...All was gone. Waiter apologized and everything so it's a learning experience.

This is a typical Chinese buffet. Nothing super unique but everything is done correctly and cleanly. The food is fresh and hot and nothing seems to sit out long. The service is very attentive and kind. The space is large and plenty of seating. I would definitely come back again for those nights I don't want to cook.

The chicken soup dumplings were flavorful though I'd have liked more soup. I put some red pepper flakes on top as there was no chili oil provided. The combo came with general tso's chicken and I opted for lo mein instead of fried rice. The dish as delicious but the chicken was dry. The combo also came with 2 thumb print pork dumplings which I didn't try and regular chicken dumplings which lacked a bit of flavor. There was also a spring roll which was just very greasy. It also came with egg drop or sweet and sour soup. I'm not a fan of either so I skipped it. All in all, great value and good but not amazing food.

After being seated, I informed the waiter that I would place a to-go order instead. About 20 minutes later, our food was ready. At that point, our daughter woke up, so we hoped to continue dining in as originally planned. I politely asked the waiter if we could finish our meal there. We didn't expect him to continue serving us--we simply wanted to sit and eat the food we had ordered. I had already tipped him on the to-go order. His response was blunt and shocking: "No, you have to leave. The table was given to someone else for a 7:30 reservation." There was no attempt to find a solution or offer an alternative--just a direct order to leave. This was a Thursday night, the restaurant was not busy, and there were outdoor tables and other seating available. We felt incredibly insulted by the attitude. When we spoke to the manager, he simply repeated that the table was reserved and backed up the waiter, without suggesting another table or even asking us to wait for the next available one, until we brought up the point that he could have asked if we have an option to wait for the next table?? Then the manager went ok do you want to have another table just because we asked. What stood out most wasn't the reservation issue, but the complete lack of hospitality, flexibility, or basic courtesy. This experience spoke volumes about the customer service here, and unfortunately, it's the reason we won't be returning.

It's Kuksu House so I got the kuksu, and we also got the hanum. Kuksu is an Uzbek-Korean dish--a cold noodle soup from ethnic Koreans living in Uzbekistan. It's made with wheat noodles, rice noodles, garlic broth, pickles and beef. For $17 they give you a great big bowl of it. The flavors are intense and really tickle your palate. There's a whole lot of flavor here and I couldn't eat a whole lot at once--I think it works better as an appetizer soup than a main course. You could get 8 appetizer servings from the order. Just for grins I warmed up some of what I took home, and it wasn't bad that way either. One thing I found lacking was the beef--I couldn't find much. But it's a fascinating dish if you're looking for a unique combination of textures and flavor. Hanum is another dish from the same region. It's a steamed dumpling with layered pastry and a meat and potatoes filling, topped with stewed tomatoes and onions. This is a hearty, satisfying savory dish--all melts together in your mouth. There's plenty to share or eat later, and it keeps in the fridge just fine. We wanted to get fries but they were sold out. Service was friendly and enthusiastic. They do have more conventional foods--chicken thighs and Korean tacos. But if you are tiring of Tex-Mex and want something really different, this is worth a try.
