Pretty good. I dined-in, solo, needing to address my crawfish craving. Counter service was appropriate; I did like that one man came from behind counter to deliver food, check on patrons, dump full shell bowls- maybe he was owner or mgr? I ordered a fried rice that was a little greasy for my preference, but it didn't stop me from eating it; don't think I'd order it again. Crawfish were majority good size and I liked the flavor (the one without garlic in the description, I don't remember the name, but I usually lean more vietcajun and less garlicky anything). Playlist was great. I went back and forth btw 3 and 4 stars, but decided to give them the edge. Will be back. Two word review: plenty napkins. read more

I normally come here during crawfish season when i need a quick grab! They have some really good crawfish! However, it's not crawfish season and I was still in the mood for a seafood! There's plenty of space for a couple or a bigger group. The service was great. The owner was there training a new hire. I ordered something recommended by the owner- the dragon bowl! and of course a little seafood boil since it was a little cheaper on HH. Both were great! the dragon bowl is really a star! They did not forget about the green vegetables! The boiled shrimp definitely cured my craving for the moment wanting crawfish. This place is such a hidden gem in Pearland!! We were driving around and saw this place and decided to come in and try it and it did not disappoint! We got the catfish basket, cray cray fries, dragon bowl, and lil miss piggy bao. The flavors are soooooo good. The dragon bowl has the tastiest, crispiest brussel sprouts! The crawfish sauce on the catfish and the cray cray fries was soooo tasty, like an elevated alfredo pasta. The shrimp were also super crispy and seasoned sooo well. The catfish was fried so well and the sauce on top was so tasty. This bowl is definitely something I'm coming back for!! The pork belly in the bao was a little tough and not my favorite but everything else we had was 10/10!! We are so excited to try the rest of the menu and will definitely be back! read more

This place is SO legit.... I've eaten on site and done doordash- it's the CONSISTENCY for me!! My BF suggested it for lunch one day and I ordered the general tso shrimp fried rice- I didn't expect much but I got my socks knocked ALL the way off! My God!! It was amazing. I cook a lot and I thought my fried rice recipe was good- I want to stalk the chef to find out how they did that...... And the SHRIMP!! Tempura battered and then lightly sauced- so well done. Then the take out order- Brussels sprouts that I would become addicted to if I lived closer. With a chili sauce... whew! I don't usually give 5 stars but I'm very picky about my gumbo and the Seafood gumbo with ramen special was fantastic a little pricey compared to regular menu items but worth it. The place is simple cafe but food on menu looks great. I will be back Update - Went back and they were out of gumbo so got the shrimp basket and pickled cucumbers and it was all good. Then went back again and tried their regular gumbo with shrimp and crab added. It's not quite as good as the ramon gumbo but still pretty good. read more

We came here looking for SEASONED crawfish and we were not disappointed. 9lbs of crawfish with sausage and corn. The spice and heat was on point, the service was excellent, and my niece didn't speak for at least 30min because she was chowing down on the crawfish. That means it was amazing! I also brought the shrimp basket and beef bulgogi bowl home for family. The shrimp were huge with a delicious cornmeal coating. My brother said everything was wonderful. Omg!! I was skeptical to order just fried rice, but I'm so glad that I did. I arrived about an hour to closing, so it was pretty empty inside. There was no line, and the cashier was friendly. I ordered the dragon fried rice, and it was bomb! Packed with flavor, full of blue crab, and so filling. This is definitely a meal for two people. I would come back here just for for the rice. The flavor was on point and just the right portion. The texture of the bread/tortilla lol if that's what it's called was so fluffy and doughy it made the experience great!!!! We are exploring their menu during non crawfish season. Asian style salt & pepper wings is chef kiss. Eat it over a bed of steak white rice. If you're gonna order to go.. open your box to not build up condensation. My 15 min ride home my wings were still crispy. My kid is 7.5 and tears this gumbo up . It's not the thick gumbo you would normally see at other chain restaurants. It's a clean broth with okra & sausage..like a simple but comfort taste of it. This spot was a great spot hidden in a strip mall. I did call in the order ahead of time following the advice of another Yelper. The young lady that took my phone order was very sweet and set the tone that there would be a call back on my phone once it was ready. I had a big order on a Sunday afternoon so I knew it may take a little time. I got there before my call, roughly 20min. The place was packed, it's clean and cozy. Just wish it had more seating, that's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. My food was just getting bagged up so it was piping hot and fresh. We got a chicken tender basket, bulgogi fries, Dragon Seafood rice, and shrimp fried rice. The chicken tender basket was so fresh and seasoned nice, and the bulgogi fries are amazing. The seafood rice was just ok, the crabmeat that was sprinkled on top, smelled a little too fishy so you know it was out of the can. Nevertheless both fried rices were solid. Upon arriving it wasn't very crowded, a couple of people ahead of me. The dining area is not very big but enough for a good sized crowd. There are a couple of TVs mounted for the sports fans. The young man taking orders was very polite. I ordered the dragon fried rice and turkey neck. The rice was merely shrimp fried rice with crabmeat sprinkled over it rather than mixed in like I expected. Nothing spectacular. And why would anyone sell a whole turkey neck that's not cut up!? Who does that? And it comes with a side of garlic bread. Is that mismatched or what?! Again nothing spectacular about the taste. Did I mention they are very slow making the orders. I waited at least 30 minutes and the place wasn't even crowded. I'll give another star for their frozen drinks. I sampled the peach daiquiri and it was really good. First want to say that the entrees here are spectacular. The cray cray fries and bulgogi fries both hit the spot as a side. The service was nice, the cashier even gave some butter sauce on the house so shout it to him... and what seemed to be the owner walks around personally asking how everything is. Nice touch! However the crawfish... not so much. Maybe I made the mistake of not getting the Garlic Butter flavor but I tried the original with medium spice and it was easily the worst crawfish I've had. I expect a lot more from a place with 4.5 stars. There was just almost no flavor... when sucking the crawfish claws I would just taste spicy water. The crawfish meat itself tasted like boiled crawfish and nothing else. The only way I got through it was dipping it in their Gilligan's broth, then in the Butter and then in Cajun seasoning. Got a order to go but there's an impressive off menu section if you eat inside. This place holds a special place in my heart as it was one of the few places that were open after the freeze of 2021. I also appreciate that they have catfish vs. mystery fish. The poboy is one of the best in the area. I ate here once before shortly after it opened and I honestly cannot remember what I had. I was feeling hungry for something different on a Saturday for lunch and decided to give another try. I placed an order for pick up. I live very close to this spot and the food was ready quickly when I arrived. The restaurant was clean and quiet when I entered with a few people eating in there. I ordered the Shrimp Crab Puffs, Brussel Sprouts, Shrimp Fried Rice and Catfish Po-Boy. Nothing I ordered was bad but nothing knocked my socks off either. If I'm keeping it a buck, it mostly tasted generic to me. The crab puffs were okay. The brussel sprouts were actually pretty tasty though. Now to the main courses. The shrimp wasn't bad at all but it was not packed with flavor either and the rice was a bit dry to me. Admittedly, I'm not a big rice guy in the first place but I just need a little more flavor and moisture. I had high hopes for the po-boy since I haven't found any especially memorable po-boys outside of Louisiana. Unfortunately, the catfish was a bit dry and the bread was too dense for me and not garlicky enough in my opinion. The fries were plentiful but again a bit limp. I applaud this restaurant for having such a diverse and varied menu. I look at it and everything looks delicious. Unfortunately, the execution wasn't there for me this time. I'd love to come back and try something else from the off menu specials. MMMMMMM. That's it. That's the whole review. I had the gumbo ramen (off menu on the chalk board) and holy moly. It was so flavorful. Ate it so fast that I didn't even take a picture of it but my oh my was it a beautiful picturesque meal. Had three crab legs, sausage, okra, lumps of crab meat, 2 hush puppies, ramen noodles, and a verryyyyy tasty broth. I had some leftover broth and noodles and I took it home and added some fried eggs on top. Still delicious. I came with my family and everyone had very good dishes. Fried okra, Brussels sprouts, and edamame. Walnut shrimp (sweet, dipped in ranch? Very good), fried catfish and fries, fried oysters fries and boudin balls, and a ginormous plate of fried rice. Today I was craving fried oystered. I looked up fried oysters close to my house. And Door Dash to the rescue with Boiling Dragon. When the food arrived to the house. It was still hot and fresh. I like how they cut a hole in the top of the styrofoam box to keep it from sweating. Which kept my oysters crispy and not soggy.
