FOOD: So this place is a chain like place, but I was pleased with the outcome. I had just gotten off work and I wasn't intending on making it home until late, but I wanted some Italian but not the usual (Olive Garden). I came across this place while looking for somewhere nearby and I tried their chicken parm. It was really good! The garlic bread it came with seemed like it was soaked in butter though. If you aren't earing the bread with the pasta, you will get tired of it quickly unless you just really like butter lol. SERVICE + AMBIANCE: I got my food via drive through so there isn't much I can say on the ambiance but the service was straight to the point and they were kind. It's safe to say that this is a place I'm okay with going to outside of the usual Italian chains I've frequented. read more

Took them an hour to make my food(spaghetti and meatballs). I had to go inside and see if they forgot me! Then one your little boy employees was rude and I do not appreciate the disrespect I received and will never go there again! I also advice everyone else to skip them up!! The fettuccine Alfredo was good 6/10. The spaghetti was ok, could've used more sauce 5/10. The bread sticks were delicious 7/10. The cheese bites were good. I had them with alfredo sauce and marinara sauce. Surprisingly I preferred the marinara 6/10. They were selling The Cheesecake Factory Red Velvet Cheesecake. We usually like this place but out last visit we tried the drive thru. We patiently waited for them to talk first. After a couple of minutes we called out "hello?". No response. So we went inside. I let the staff know that it might be broken. They rolled their eyes at me. I get there ate annoying customers out there but I thought I was being helpful. Really disappointed with what was just delivered by uber. This used to be my absolute favorite Italian restaurant in Memphis. Not anymore. I was delivered soggy bread sticks, the tiniest slices if pizza Ive ever seen, and my expensive pasta sampler wasn't even half full. There was literally only two bites of fettuccine and single meatball on my spaghetti. Husband had to dig to find a tomato in his salad. Two stars because MOST of the food tasted great. I'll go up a star from my previous review. It's been a couple years. Things seem much better from what I remembered. It's still counter order but they have some table service. And they served my meal with real dishes and cutlery. The three cheese tortellini really surprised me, especially for an $8 dish. They did not skimp either. There was a lot of food in it. The chicken was pretty good too and they were more than generous with it. I'm not sure if they cook their own chicken or if it just comes from a food vendor, but I couldn't tell. Ordered in the drive-thru. When I got home I realized my food was prepared wrong. I'm a non-meat eater and they gave me a meat sauce. After I finally got someone one the phone they told me to come back with my receipt and old order (extra). Pretty gross that they accept old food after you've left the premises .. even if it's been in your home and after 24 hours. New order was not even baked all the way. I went there yesterday because I love the food. It's not the food that I am going to complain about but the customer service. We all know they are slow and are willing to wait patiently. When it was finally time for me to pull up and pay there was 2 cars pulled up in front of me and 1 left when they got their food, the other one pulled up but not all the way up. So when I paid my money the young lady asked me to pull up, which i did. The drive through girl comes outside and asks me to pull over in the parking lot and I asked her if she would ask the young lady in front of me to pull up a little bit so I could pull all the way up because I wasn't going to the parking lot. The worker looked at me like she was ready to snatch me out of my truck and went back in the restaurant without even asking the young lady in the front of me to pull up a little bit. After waiting a few mins she finally brings me my food. I thanked her but I could not move my truck because the young lady in front of me needs to pull up so I can leave. I'm sitting there waiting for them to bring her food to her in hopes that I could leave. Next thing I know lady in the car behind me start yelling "move" as she is sitting at the drive through window. She and the Fazoli worker is acting a fool, so I look in my mirror at the both of them, really, how the hell do u expect me to move and I am blocked in. I sit and wait patiently for the girl in front of me to either get her food or pull up some. In the meantime. Fazoli's employee at the window is talking sh it. My grandson finally said "mama I am going to ask the lady in front of you if she will pull up so you can go because they are about to make you snap" I told him he didn't have to but he got out anyways and politely asked the lady in front of me if she would pull up a little bit and as he is talking to her the manager from the restaurant runs to the door and look at me crazy but she too asked to lady to pull up some because she was sitting there on her phone as she was waiting on her food. I don't even think she heard the commotion from the Fazoli drive through worker and the car behind me, which I ignored. First of all, the restaurant has no business asking people to pull up, the only reason they are asking people to pull up is because they are cheating on the drive through clock that times them on how long it takes them to get people orders out. The manager ran to the door as if she was going to say something to me, I wish she would have, until she saw that I could not get out and she knew they was wrong. The point of this review is customers do not have to pull up if they do not want to and cheating the clock on how long it takes for people in drive through to get their food is not being honest to the DM or owner. read more

This is a fast-food style Italian place with possibly the best bread sticks I have ever eaten, including the ones from expensive Italian restaurants. They melt in your mouth! I've been to this Fazolis a few times, and it always hits me right in the childhood nostalgia. The pasta is good, no matter what I pick, and I actually like several of the options. The salads are... okay? But not amazing. They're fresh enough. The breadsticks are, as you expect from Fazolis, everything you wish for in life and more. The breadsticks are the meaning of existence. We are in town for a family reunion and had a quick second to grab a bite. We went through the drive-thru and after completing our order the employee said, "ok drive thru"... we arrive to the window she said, "I didn't hear anything you said." Not a problem, so we order again while she gives a blank stare. We finish and receive our large tea with the lid that had not bid secured and bread sticks. When I grab the tea it spills in the carpets of my car. I give her the tea back and let her know the lid was not secured and the drink spilled. I haven't eaten here in about 2 years. I would get the baked zitti when I did. So I wanted to try something different. Went thru the drive thru 1st and it took FOREVER before I could even order. So I decided to go inside bc it looked pretty empty. I ordered the ultimate spaghetti, went to the restroom to wash my hands and my food was ready. I could instantly see that the sausage wasn't fresh, so I didn't eat it, but I did eat the rest (which was hot) and it was ok. They literally put slices of bacon in it rather than chopped bits. I didn't know drive-thru Italian could be so good. I just wish it was one closer to my house. The service is not the best but it's okay. The food is actually pretty fresh and delicious. The portion sizes are good too. I normally get the twice baked lasagna or the chicken carbonara w/ fettuccine noodles instead of spaghetti noodles. I am a huge Fazoli's fan, as it reminds me of my home town, and just had one of the best experiences at this location. First off the health dept. score was 100. For what it is , Italian fast food, I thought it was really good! I had the chicken carbonara, which was great. I ordered it for dine in, and it took 7 minutes to get to my table.
