Awesome Atmosphere, clean, comfortable, quality food, generous portion. I got a small, supreme with no pepperoni, add beef, spinach and sun-dried tomatoes. It was delicious and flavorful and I loved the crust, it had a cracker crunch. It was Amazing. This was my first time going there. My oldest son visits there regularly and always talks about how great the food is and Excellent Customer Service. I will be returning again in the future. I Suggest trying Brick Oven Pizza-Hernando. Service at this pizza parlor is great. The staff is super friendly & are experienced enough to work in a fast paced environment. On a busy Friday evening these staff members make it look easy. The pizza is top notch!! Ordered a large Big Italy and a large Supreme which were cooked perfectly. The ingredients are fresh and flavorful. Parking lot could really use work- First time here in a while and ordered Take-Out. Received partial wrong order after checking. I have been coming to this location since it opened always had a great experience until last night. We was talking to some friends while waiting for a table to open. As I always I brought a bottle of wine because I don't drink beer. Before we even got a table I had one manager coming out to tell me I can't have that here. I said ok continued talking to my friends, well saying bye to them because I wanted a glass of wine with my dinner. Before we could even give our long southern good byes another guy comes out the side door and did not even approach the table we was standing beside. Instead he just from the side door across the patio repeating what the first guy had said. And of course I was totally embarrassed especially since my botthe of wine had not even been opened! I'm not sure when this policy changed considering in the past we've been offered a corkscrew and wine glasses. Needless to say we left and dont plan on returning. The one thing I love about this place is you can just walk in most nights without a wait. Its hidden pretty well and located in Hernando. It's not like five star pizza or anything but its very good for the price and the service is always great! They have a nice outside patio area and flat-screens inside with a game on usually. The bathrooms are clean and the decor is nice. I got the "Bubba's Brother Pizza" and a small house salad. Like I said above the food is not five star, but its worth what you pay and better than the chain places that cost just as much. My wife absolutely loves their pasta. I have always got the pizza. Service for in restaurant has deteriorated to the point of unlivable. 1st visit, after 20 minutes with no acknowledgement at all, we left. 2nd visit, place was busy, and was just about to leave when waitress finally noticed and helped us. Food was good but not worth the wait. Last night, 6/21, took almost twenty minutes to get service. Restaurant was perhaps half full. after getting drinks, took another ten minutes to take order. After 35 minutes, in which others who came in after got their food, we gave up and left. If we go back, it will be a long long time. read more

Okay so the wait staff is super friendly and they have beer specials. Their stuffed mushrooms are super tasty and their house salad was good. With all that said, this pace is RIDDEN with flies. My first beer had a fly in it. - okay fine. They replaced the beer. When we got food, the fruit flies were swarming. I was constantly trying to shoo them away from our food. I got half way done with my replacement beer... and there was another fly... the pizza May be loved by some, but the amount of sauce for us was unbearable. Buyer beware!! I used Bite Squad this evening and ordered from Brick Oven Pizza in Hernando. We were not feeling like getting out but wanted to eat from one of our favorite spots. I placed the order and it came to almost $60 including the delivery fee and tip. They got our order wrong. My child ordered Chicken Alfredo but got some kind of Spicy spaghetti or something like that. She being the trooper she is tried to make it worked but took one bite from it and it made her cry because it was so spicy. I called up there and they asked for my name so I could get a new one the next time I come in there. I told them I wanted it now and I would have to come get it because it's my child's dinner. I drove up there and sure enough it was waiting on me. I told the lady that this totally defeated the purpose of having it delivered if I had to come back to pick up my girls dinner because of their mistake. She didn't offer me a refund, she didn't offer me my money back on my food or the Bite Squad fee or tip. She said I'm sorry and dismissed my problem. I have been a loyal customer at Brick oven since they first opened the doors. I spent $60 of my hard earned money with you that I didn't have to spend. They could have handled it better and at least refunded my delivery fee and tip. I could have saved that money if I had to make the trip up there in the first place. Applied for a job at the establishment and instead of being called back by a manager to discuss my application, I was told my one of my friends who I had seen on snapchat was eating dinner here tell me WHY they wouldn't hire me. Very unprofessional in my opinion. Instead of calling me personally, they were just going to let time pass and pass until I either forgot about it or checked on the application myself; in which I do not think they would've been as honest with me about the reason as they were with my friend, which is also extremely unprofessional. We've lived in Hernando for 5 years and never tried this place before. The pizza is really good. Plenty of toppings, not too much crust exposed like some places do. I feel like the prices are very reasonable ($17ish for a specialty large). The crust is similar to Memphis Pizza Cafe which I love (thin and crispy). We tried the Big Italian and Margherita. Both were good but the Marg. was missing the basil leaves that menu suggested it had-- I would have liked to see them on there. They also have the "good Ranch"--if you're from the south you know what that is! The waitress was warm and friendly even with it being close to closing time.
