Lost is my go to pizza spot when I'm in Memphis. This time i decided to order from the Southaven location and I regret it drastically. I placed my order via Local, which was easy. The wait time was only like 20 minutes. My pizza looks uncooked. I ordered a thick crust Otis. The pizza I ordered was thin crust and had almost no meat or cheese. Plus, it was overcooked to the point of being crispy. We started with the hot tamales and boneless wings as appetizers. They were average tasting but I would not order them again. We ordered a thin crust Kujo Pizza (something I've had multiple times at other locations). Don't get me wrong, the toppings were plenty BUT placed on the pizza inconsistently. The sausage was also weird, super chunky and there were way too much on the pizza AND the cheese was severely lacking. To top it off, the pizza was just barely warm when it was brought out. We have been to this location a couple of times and both times I have been pretty pleased with the food and the service. I dig the "quick service" feel by ordering at the counter along with the self serve drinks. It allows my kids the ability to get what they want without any fuss and you don't have to wait on anyone to bring you anything. Just don't forget silverware. This last visit my wife ordered for all of us. She ordered Tamales to start with. I am a bit of a Tamale snob so I have to admit I was scared eating them here. I anticipated the worst but was pleasantly surprised by the dish. They were actually good. They aren't your Mexican Tamales but the Delta style. They were steamed well and assembled correctly with just the right amount of heat and chili flavor. We also had a few pizzas to share and they were also good. Not the best by any means but a solid pie none the less. The BBQ pizza was probably the best we had because we had the kids to we had Cheese, Hawaiian, and Pepperoni. We had the BBQ on the Thick Crust and it was pretty awesome actually. I try to give restaurants a break because one bad aspect shouldn't reflect poorly on the restaurant as a whole HOWEVER, nothing positive remotely comes to mind regarding our visit. We eat at our local Lost Pizza weekly so we chose to eat at the one in Southaven while in town and it is definitely not ran the same. It was busy but not overly, there were empty tables the entire time we were here but service was terrible. My son and I were finished with our food and I had to ask about my husbands personal size pizza before he ever got it. When ordering we had to change our order several times because she kept telling us they were out of everything we had tried to order - at least 5 items at this point, no sign or anything to notify customers. We got our cups and were then told that they were out of ice so the tea and lemonade would be hot. My son does not drink any type of soft drink so he was going to drink his sweet tea hot, got to the tea and got a few drops of sweet tea and you guessed it, it was out also. We sat at our table and had to get condiments and paper towels off of another table since ours didn't have any. Once our salads came the lettuce was brown - very much past serving condition. We ended up with about half a salad each by the time we each got out the bad lettuce. I ordered the baked spaghetti and it was not baked - maybe stuck in the microwave to melt the very small amount of cheese but the dish was not baked. Sauce was cold and there was absolutely no seasoning or taste to my dish nor my sons chicken Alfredo. Not one staff member ever questioned the large pile of brown lettuce on the table, never asked how our food was or spoke to us after we got our food. We will NEVER be back to this location. This place has been my favorite pizza in Desoto county for a few years. Today and the past couple times I came here, not as good. I paid for a large pizza. They brought my grandsons small personal pizza out first and the cheese was easily melty. He picked up a piece and cheese was melted and looked like it should. My wife and I pizza came out and it was lukewarm. Cheese was meted but not melty. I told them I expect pizza to be hot when I'm sitting 30 feet from the pizza oven. I've had delivery that was warmer than this. The pizza was dry as a bone....not enough sauce...and overcooked. They said they could throw it back in the oven or make another. The Southaven location never has a manager of any kind on site. The teenagers seem to run the place and therefore you are at the mercy of their timeframe which is nothing but talking amongst themselves. This evening while we were in we ordered toasted ravioli and a pizza... simple enough, right? Well the toasted ravioli came out with the pizza and were so hard we couldn't cut them. We've learned not even complain as there is no one there to deal with the issue. They apologized but didn't offer anything to fix their error. We're so happy to have a place like this within walking distance to our house! This is definitely our favorite pizza joint, as well as our go-to restaurant after a long, stressful day at work. The pizza is good, and they have a large selection of pizzas with all of the toppings you can imagine. We usually get the Kujo, because unlike my favorite musician, I've never tried to amend my carnivorous habits, and I never will. We've also ordered the Hector's Taco Pie and the Cheeseburger pizza, and they were both excellent. They also have a good selection of appetizers. Sometimes if we're not in the mood for pizza, we just get tamales, toasted ravioli, and wings. I often dream about those Jamaican jerk wings! They're sweet with a kick to them, and a little on the messy side. In addition to tea and soft drinks, they have a good selection of beer. You can get it by the bottle or on tap. You can also mix bottled beers in a bucket, or buy a pitcher of beer for $11. Off the top of my head, they have Ghost River, Abita, Lazy Magnolia, Sam Adams, and Blue Moon. There are more than just those, but who needs anything else? We've been several times and the service has always been fast and friendly, even when they were busy. We really don't mind ordering at the counter or having to get our own drinks. The waitresses still bring out the food and check on you. I've never had bad service there. My husband likes to take all of our out-of-town friends there, and they all want to go back every time they come down. The decor is very cool and unique. It has a Delta Blues feel to it. I'd like to hire them to come decorate my husband's man cave at our house. All they need is an old dude picking a guitar. They have a nifty little "bar" that's a long table you can sit at to eat and watch tv. It's more like a very long table with stools on both sides. There's a patio I see us sitting on this summer. Eaten here many times and pizza is average to above average. I just walked in at 7:15 PM on 11/27/20 and the only person wearing a mask that works there was the cashier to protect themselves. None of the people in the kitchen nor anyone moving the pizza from the window to the counter and serving drinks had a mask on.
