Build Your Own Rise Pie-lacked flavor
Kyle C.

The customer service was good. Workers were friendly and very welcoming. The setting was okay, nothing special. The food looked amazing and I had hopes of a great tasting pie, however it lacked flavor. The sauce was very bland and crust was a step above a popular frozen pizza rising dough.

I ate one piece just to notice the crust was as black as the chairs at my job.

I normally go here while I'm at work because it is the only food place that Tanger. I'm not talking about snacks. I'm talking about actual food. Today when I got there, they were cleaning the oven, which was no big deal hiccup playing with my pizza while it was in the oven And sliding it from one side to the next. When I asked him what he was doing, she told me not to worry about it because my food was still going to cook properly. I walked back to work, start eating. My food noticed that the crust is extremely dark. Then I moved another piece of pizza out of the way and saw that it just looked burnt and oily. Probably from whatever they were using to clean the oven. I ended up just throwing it away since I couldn't leave work again.

First time eating here. We were hungry and decided to try the pizza here instead of leaving and getting one elsewhere. Simple menu, nice layout inside, clean restrooms and the service was fast. They say the dough is made from scratch every day. They have a special Monday through Thursday cheese pizza is $4.99 and pepperoni is $5.99. Since we were here on Saturday our pizza was $13.99 for pepperoni lovers pizza. We got bottled drinks only to realize after the fact that they actually had fountain drinks which you would not notice until afterwards-see photo. I don't even want to know how much they cost. They only had limited Pepsi products, Gatorade and pure leaf tea in bottle form. More Pepsi products in the fountain area. If I had known I would have preferred a root beer instead of Mountain Dew. All in all the pizza was good and fresh but on the small size. For hungry adults this is a snack and we will definitely have to get something else to eat in a hour. We probably would have been better off each one getting a pizza which would have filled us up. Like I said the pizza wasn't bad it was good but just know going in that this is not a meal for 2 but 1. I will definitely be back but because I love a deal, I'll come back on the special day and get a pizza for $4.99/$5.99 and of course get a fountain drink or drink my own bottled water.

I finally had the opportunity to try Rise Pies pizza and I was very pleased with my pizza. I ordered the Build Your Own with thick crust, italian tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella and shredded mozzarella cheese, pepperoni, Italian Sausage, bacon and red onions. The employees were very courteous and friendly I will definitely go back again

I wanted to give them a try since they had a gluten-free and vegan option. Should've stayed away. I wasted $14 on an expensive and nasty pizza. We have two big places like this: Uncle Maddios and Blaze and they are way better and cheaper. I have NEVER paid $14 for a Gluten free pizza with vegan cheese. Having done so, it could've at least taste good. Zero flavor! I hate when places nickle and dime you on prices. I'm accustomed to pay about a $2 to $3 up charge for Gluten free crust. But to pay an additional $2.50 up charge for vegan cheese.... I've never. The guy only informed me of the crust upcharge and asked for permission. He didnt say anything about the cheese because I would've said no and just walked out the door. Needless to say, I was not happy. To top it off, I wasted part of the pizza because it was nasty and had no flavor. Never again! It looked better than it taste

Haven't been in quite some time, and came back... but not impressed. Really long wait with only two other families in the building. Burnt pizza. Thick crust, even though I ordered thin. Very inconsistent service and quality.

This was my first time visiting rise pies in tanger outlet, and I was impressed! The pizza was cooked perfectly and crispy within seconds ! It's a similar restaurant to pyros, but just not as many toppings to choose from . If you're at tanger outlets, and hungry I'd recommend eating here . Good customer service and a clean environment

I give it 1 star because everything tasted canned. The sauce tasted as if they just poured it out of the Chef Boyardee can. The ingredients were scarce, and again, flavorless. Now let's talk about crosscontamination; the lady adding the ingredients kept pushing her glasses up with the back of her gloved hand then back into the cheese. The guy taking the orders dropped a container of pesto sauce into the tomato sauce, then fished it out without changing the gloves that he had on while writing said orders. I saw 2 boxes of gloves on the counter but saw no one change theirs once the entire time we were there. Now, I am not a germaphobe, and I know from experience what happens in a restaurant kitchen, but when the customer is able to see everything, I think the staff would be a lot more on point. I think this place needs some more training. Although the concept is a good one, other pizza places with the same idea (Pyros) outshines this one in every aspect. Rise pizza lost a customer here.

We started to order and we were told we'd have to get it to go because they were closing early. That didn't set a great tone. The process of ordering was...odd. Answers to questions were confusing. Like, the taco bowl is literally nothing more than the crunchy taco bowl and you fill it with one of the salads or bowls on the menu. Huh? That was bizarre. But then I had some special requests for my quinoa bowl and they were very accommodating so they went up a few notches. But the actual bowl was meh. The fresh ingredients are fresh, bright, and tasty. If I had gotten the quinoa bowl without meat it probably would have been deemed delicious. Alas. Alas. I got the steak quinoa bowl. The steak was very not good. :( I sampled the wraps of two people in my group. One was a buffalo chicken wrap and the other was a steak fajita wrap. Same for their wraps...it would have been good without the meat. The meat here was not good. Nope nope nope. Another person in our group got the basil panini. I didn't try it, but it looked good. (Although not grilled enough so the bread was not toasty like you want with a panini.) And it's a pricey place. Fun, bright, upbeat interior. This could have been a great experience. But it was a meh experience.

I didn't know which one to choose. I went with Santa Fe salad with chicken. The chicken was seasoned wonderfully and the bowl was filled to the brim. I also had a fresh pineapple water, which was pretty good, not too sweet with a hint of pineapple and freshwater. A 32 ounce and a salad cost $21.98. Now service customer service could had been better, but I would certainly try it again.

So I started off looking for a nice little happy hour. This was the only place I found anywhere…read moreclose to me that mentioned one. It's 3-6 pm, half off Speciality drinks and $10 appetizers. Plus $5 wells. I ordered a Margarita and two apps to be quick. The apps don't look huge, but then you start eating, and they last, and last, and last! If you are uncertain and are gonna pick an appetizer based on a recommendation , if they tell you they took it to a competition and it killed, order that one. Turnip Green Bites were outstandingly exceptional! Don't let turnip greens turn you off! Just tell your Mom you ate your vegetables and move on! These will change your life! I followed them up with the Duck Wontons, and while good, it is just hard to follow and act like The King, Turnip Green. Service was quick and super friendly. I didn't get to explore upstairs because it was closed on a Tuesday. But the rest of the restaurant is nicely contemporary and well decorated. The lighting works. Not too bright, not too dark. And you can hear to talk to your group. No screaming over a too-loud soundtrack. Definitely give this place a try, I'm glad I did! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the plating. Needs some work.

Dear Rotolo's Team,…read more I wanted to take a moment to share an experience I had recently at your restaurant because I believe people who go above and beyond deserve to be recognized. During my visit, I had the pleasure of being served by Elyssia F., a young woman who is working as a waitress while attending college with the dream of becoming a psychiatrist. What really touched me is that she said, "her goal in life is to help others in everything that she does". Elyssia is working hard toward her future, and like many college students, she has concerns about money and the financial weight of pursuing her education. But despite that, she showed me what it looks like when someone refuses to let their circumstances determine the kind of person they are going to be. My meal actually arrived without any noodles in my pasta. But somehow, that mistake became one of the best parts of the experience. The manager personally came over and made sure my meal was corrected. The team didn't simply replace the dish--they went above and beyond and even created a flatbread for my pasta toppings so that nothing went to waste and I could still enjoy everything that came with my meal. And while all of that was happening, Elyssia used her compassion, humor, and personality to turn what could have easily been an irritating situation into something I genuinely enjoyed. Then she did something I wasn't expecting. She got the entire team to sing me Happy Birthday. At that point, it wasn't just about the food anymore. It was about the people. Every person I interacted with was warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. There was a sense of hospitality that felt different from simply being "good at customer service." It felt personal. It felt like the people there actually cared about making sure I had a great experience. I walked in expecting to have dinner. I walked out with a story I'm going to remember. And that's why I'm writing this. Elyssia deserves to be recognized. Here is a young woman working hard to put herself through college because she wants to spend her life helping other people. She is serving tables today while preparing herself for a career where she hopes to help people tomorrow. I would love to see Rotolo's consider whether there is a way to sponsor, contribute toward, or otherwise help with Elyssia's college tuition. I realize that may not be something a company can simply do for every employee. But sometimes you come across someone who makes you stop and think, "This is someone worth investing in." Elyssia made me feel welcomed, valued, and cared for on a day when she could have simply done her job and sent me on my way. Instead, she helped create an experience I'll remember. And I believe investing in her education could eventually allow her to do for countless other people what she did for me: make someone feel like they matter. Thank you to Elyssia, the manager, and the entire Rotolo's team for an incredible experience. The food was great. The service was exceptional. But most importantly, the people were unforgettable. Please recognize this team--and especially Elyssia--for what they are doing. Sometimes the greatest impact a company can make isn't measured by another sale. Sometimes it's measured by investing in a person who wants to spend her life investing in others. Thank you, Rotolo's, for an experience I'll genuinely remember.

We were excited to try this place out, but the food didn't quite meet our expectations, especially for the price. I got the bacon mac and cheese pie, it sounded nice til it got served to me in the same skillet they cooked it in. Not sure, if we should've asked for the plate, separately. My bacon was uncooked and there was so much grease in the bottom of the skillet. My husband had the chicken Alfredo and I tried a bite because he said it didn't taste right and it tasted like their Alfredo sauce might've been out of date or something, didn't taste like Alfredo at all. Tasted like we will have food poison, in a day or so Very let down and won't be back!
