Hard review for me because the slice tasted amazing. Ordered the whole sha'bang. Grandmas, Sicilian, Arancini, etc.. I don't know what they consider arancini, but they gave me what seems like a calzone version of arancini that was barely edible... Thing was huge and not cooked all the way though. Theses are the best arancini, I have ever had, outside of one of my relatives' kitchens or Sicily. The saffron flavor stands up to the Bolognese and cheese. Just the right crispness on the outside with creamy, flavorful Arborio rice inside. Also, the sciacca, like rolled pizza with the toppings on the inside, of the day was delicious with ricotta and sausage. Pizza-wise, we quartered a few slices. I love the broccoli rabe and sausage pizza, but each one we tried was fantastic. The owner, Santo, said that he occasionally makes sfincione, too. Disappointing experience, AKA how to lose a loyal customer in 30 seconds. Long-time Fazio's fan here--literally the only place I've ordered pies from the last few years, at minumum once a month via the Slice app. Never had a complaint until last night. After waiting over an hour for a pizza, I got roughly the following call from the shop: Me (picking up on the second ring): "Hello?" Fazio's: "This Evan?" Me: "Yeah. I'll be right downstairs." Fazio's: "Actually our delivery guy was already there. He tried to call you four times but you didn't answer." Me (confused, having been sitting there with my phone in hand, waiting for the call): "Oh man, I'm sorry. I'm pretty sure I didn't miss any calls though." Fazio's: "He can come back but he's out on another delivery right now, so it'll probably be around twenty minutes." Me (disappointed, imagining a cold pizza): "Alright, I understand. But just for the record I really don't think I missed any calls." Fazio's (not in a friendly way): "Yeah well, next time pick up your phone." Double checked after he hung up, and I definitely hadn't missed a call--let alone four. Even if I had, this customer experience couldn't have been sh*ttier, especially as someone who's spent hundreds of dollars at this business and never given them a single problem. If homeboy had called me up with, "Hey my bad, we missed your order," or "Dude I'm sorry we're late, we've been slammed all night," my response would 100% have been, "No worries, appreciate the call." When one orders soup it should come with bread, or at least crackers, which is what Fazio's usually did before- especially if it is just blah lentil soup and mad watery. However, on this extremely cold day, when I envisioned some warm soup with a piece of bread on the side, the guy didn't put any bread in the bag. When I asked for the bread, I'm told that it's $2 extra! So you mean to tell me you are charging 4.95 for half-ass lentil soup with hardly any vegetables or anything,just a lot of broth and you can't even give me a piece of bread to eat with it?? When I'm in the mood for pizza I always go for the local small business spots. Whether it's a slice or my favorite sub (chicken parmesan with anchovies) it's always on point. The meatballs also never disappoint. Not to mention the guy that works the register is always super chill and always remembers my weird orders. I have ordered take out from Fazio's over 30 times now. I have never been disappointed, not even once. My go to order is a large margherita pizza and a side of broccoli rabe. The bitterness of the broccoli rabe complements the margherita perfectly. The broccoli rabe is steamed and sautéed with garlic and olive oil. Once in a while I will also get a slice of the Sicilian. Their version of Sicilian is done perfectly. The crust has just the right amount of crispness has never been mushy. The Sicilian also toasts up perfectly for lunch the next day! Their sandwiches need a little improvement. The bread did not taste home made and the fillings inside were too salty with not enough flavor. I got the Neapolitan Pizza Pie and added pepperoni. The pizza is delicious, the crust is a little limp, but not soggy or any means. The crust itself has great flavor and is the perfect thickness. The delivery was on time in the window promised. The only reason that I'm give 4 rather than 5 stars is because when you add pepperoni to pizza, you expect at least regular size (bigger would be fine too) pepperonis. So we found this place on yelp delivery and after seeing the reviews we wanted to give it a shot. We got the Sicilian for $20, which isn't bad at all. We ordered everything through Yelp which was a pretty great experience. Our food was estimated to take 45 minutes- 1 hour and it got there in about 30 minutes. The pizza was amazing, so amazing that we took the remaining slices back to NC with us haha. I definitely plan to go back to NY soon and this place is on my list again! read more

They list their delivery radius outside of what they support on Uber Eats, then after the order starts to be prepared, they call and tell you that you have to cancel the order.
