Bushwick has no shortage of good pizza, it's true, but Fazio's? This place actually pulls at my heartstrings. The very first time I bit into their eggplant parmigiana, I teared up because it instantly transported me back to my Sicilian's grandmother's kitchen (incidentally, she also lived in Bushwick for 40 years). The unmistakeable savoriness + sweetness, I'd have sworn she prepared it. Sicilian-style means your parmigiana isn't suffocated by 5 pounds of chewy Polly-O mozzarella - - there's no mozzarella at all. And trust me, you won't miss it. Santo, the owner, takes great pride in his food and is super affable to boot. One visit, he insisted on giving me a sample of their cannoli cream - - needless to say, adding a cannoli to my order is now routine. Grazie, Santo, your food is the definition of comfort for me. Forza Fazio's! read more

Amazing pizza and amazing people. The best Sicilian slice in New York. So glad I live on the block !!!

Jojo and Kyle are the cream of the crop when it comes to service. They are amazing with recommendations and were very prompt and on the ball. I ordered a regular slice with pepperoni added. The total came to ~$6.00 which is WELL worth it because the quality and taste is there. I make my own pizza. Not deep dish, but still. You can tell when time goes into a pizza. I will be coming back here soooo much since it is two streets away from me. It beats the over rated prince street pizza, a lot lighter and bigger for what you pay. Go here if you want authentic pizza! Also shout out to jojo and Kyle they deserve a raise. read more

this satisfied ever ounce of my body after moving in all day. Delivery was quick and the delivery guy was nice

Really good cheese slice. Square pepperoni is good too. Prices are very fair. Plenty seats

Great crispy pizza, I got the Mediterranean slice I believe filled with veggies the bread was light and crispy and it just hit after a long day of walking! The shop is also very pleasing and great to hang around and chill. read more

Fazio's - Mediterranean slice - Pizza Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

New slice shop in Bushwick with some excellent Sicilian slices. There are 4 or 5 different specialty pies, all with toppings different enough that make them worth trying. The pepperoni is the definite winner ($3.50 for a slice), but the white slice with sausage is also great. Try the regular Margherita Slice ($2.75) too for something lighter and also satisfying. They also have some other specialties like Rice Balls and Calzones too. We tried the Chicken Parm Sandwich ($8), which was not particularly good, so stick to the slices or try some of the other items if you want something different. read more

According to my cousin, this is the best pizza he has had in New York. Let me tell you about my cousin in this review! This man has been eating pizza every day since he has gotten to New York. So I have to talk about him as I write this review. He is a wild man who loves pizza. He is bearded and he is of short stature. But his list of pizza places is a tall stature. And this place was on the top of the list. Though we ate at Luke warm and mildly cold, it was still the best pizza we had the whole weekend. We ate at four different places in about a weeks time. Yeah none of us were gluten-free. read more

Amazing everything. All (most) of the reviews are correct. Arugula salad is bomb and the pizza is great. The guys working here are super nice too! read more

This place rocks, new to the area! Nice staff, took care of me as a costumer fast and easy! Best Pizza in Brooklyn!

$52 for a grandma's and arancini Asked for a full order of toppings on one side and I know it's not a big deal but they didn't do it. $52 including tip. I won't be coming back. read more

The pizza was amazing and they had a really good music playing. Nice environment with chill employees will definitely be back

Had this pizza 2 weeks ago and had to write a review bc my mom loved it!!!! And she's very difficult to please. We had 2 reg slices one with pepperoni. They were seasoned so well and the pepperoni had a nice bite. This pizza is worth the calories. They also had icees from Corona ice King which was great bc i was raised in Bushwick but live near Corona now. read more

I always tease my roommate about this being his favorite place, since we live nearby and he often would rather order pizza than cook. With that being said, I can certainly understand the appeal. Fazio's makes a damn good pie. When I go, I like to order a slice for-here and sit by the window, which is usually open. read more

Truly horrible!!! I ordered a Sicilian pie and they had to put the minimum of a whole gallon of salt. I took one bite and we threw the rest of the pie away ...Barely any sauce, the crust was rubbery and I don't know they put some type of onions under the cheese. Please stop gentrifying Brooklyn /NY pizza. I could of ordered lil Cesars and it would of been waaayyy better . Please do not order from this place - and they take forever to prepare-UPDATE 18/2021- I ORDERED LIL CESARS LADT NIGHT SINCE THEY HAD A PROMOTION AND GUESS WHAT- IT TASTED WAY BETTER THAN FAZIOS -TRUE FACTS read more

I'm not sure how long this place has been around, but man, it's one of the better pizza spots in Brooklyn if you want a richly flavored (almost tingly) simply slice. One set plain. One set with pepperoni. Delicious. Neapolitan Slice. Sicilian Slice. You can't go wrong guys. I've had the best pizzas of Naples, Italy. I've had the best Chicago can offer. I've had nearly every honest "best slice" in New York. Maybe this isn't your "type", but it's great pizza. Even in the midst of COVID, the pizza was delivered warm. I tossed it in the oven real quick to get it a bit hotter. And it was delicious. Great service. Great food. They have my love. read more

I love this place. Pizza is fantastic. Arancini balls are the size of a fist and could be their own meal. If it wasn't for Fazio's, I would have died from food poisoning from my poor cooking during Covid. The guys who work there are always super nice. One of the best pizza spots in Brooklyn. Def best NY styled pizza in Bushwick. read more

Pizza is fresh and taste great! Highly recommend getting a slice or full pie. This is the place we come to when we travel up to Brooklyn

Good pizza, bad attitude, and don't think about asking for alterations. Twice now, I've asked for extra cheese on my chicken parm sandwich, and they've argued with me that it has a lot of cheese already and I don't know what I'm asking for. This time I stopped and took a picture. You decide for yourself if this is "so much cheese that you don't need any more." read more

Like one reviewer said below, the pizza is FANTASTIC (especially the Grandma pie) but the service is horrible. Tonight, I ordered via Seamless, which includes my primary phone number for contact. I received a call at 8:30 pm, which was on time for delivery, so I'm expecting it to be the delivery person; however, it is someone from the restaurant giving me a stern, combative talking to about how the delivery person "has been calling for 15 minutes" with no answer. I say this is impossible because I've had cellular service and my phone has been with me. In fact, I had just finished another phone call. Then, the rude restaurant employee changed his story and said it "had been two minutes of calling." Again, I said this was impossible but I would be right out. He had already hung up on me at that point. Unacceptable. I called back and received this rude individual on the other end. I asked to speak with a manager and he gave me more rude rigamarole about how one wasn't available. Finally, after some prodding, he said the manager would be back tomorrow. I plan to put a call in, but wanted to raise a warning here. Of course, when I went outside to pick up the pizza, the delivery person was on a different phone call and just handed the pizza to me and left. This will be my last order from Fazio's unless things drastically change. No pizza is worth dealing with rude people who probably don't belong in customer service. read more

My neighborhood is lacking on the food scene. So my boyfriend and I are venturing to look for hole in the wall places that are delicious! We found this cute pizza place less than a mile from us called Fazio's, and we loved it. AND I got to admit, I like this place better than Prince's Sicilian pizza. It's less oily and the pepperoni are more crispy instead of thick and chewy like Prince's. I love the breading too. The bottom was crispy and if you look on the bottom it is nicely toasted. The only reason why I didn't give it five stars was because it was a bit luke warm. It wasn't as piping hot as I would want it to be. I like my pizza hot, and the cheese pulling from the crust. I don't think the people left it in long enough, but all good. Other than that, great pizza. read more

I've gone to this spot almost every day for over a year because I live on the block. Suddenly, everything has changed. The pizza is awful all the sudden, they're charging me a minimum card amount that they never have before, the owner is HORRIBLE and lowkey so abusive to the employees while customers are there... it's a bad look. I've just been walking over to bricklyn instead read more

In a spot in Brooklyn where pizza is a little bit hard to come by Fazios's is a bit of a standout. They specialize in Sicilian style pizza but they make excellent round pies also. The specialty slices are legit here. If you came expecting plain cheese and pepperoni you might be in for a surprise. The have those but so much more. Today I had two Sicilian slices, a broccoli rabe, sausage, and fresh mozzarella. Then a tomato, onion and fresh mozzarella. Both were excellent. The crust is dark and provides a good crunch when you dive in. The menu is small but what they have they do well. Its mostly a high end slice joint but they also do sandwiches, calzones, and stomboli. There are a couple of tables outside on the sidewalk. Today the outdoor seating was perfect for a couple of great slices and a beer. Overall a standout place in a neighborhood that is lacking in the pizza department. read more

Great neighborhood pizza place with fast delivery. Delicious Sicilian Pizza Pie, their sauce is excellent and tasty crust, a little soggy in the middle though. Neapolitan Pie is delicious as well and is huge! This is my go to pizza place in bushwick. read more

This place was phenomenal. Last night, myself and a lady friend decided to order some pizza. She was not convinced that you want to eat any, but after seeing this pie, she quickly changed her mind. The total came to $24, and arrived in approximately 45 minutes. The crust was thin, but not too thin, and cooked to perfection. The sauce...was divine. The amount of oregano sprinkled upon the pizza was literally perfect. The cheese? Delicious. I used to have a go-to spot in the area, but Fazio's has given it some serious competition. I will probably order from Fazio's again in the next week or so. I kid you not, order from here. You will not be disappointed. read more

Great atmosphere, great service, and a great slice! I will definitely be back. Fazio is a legend.

Pizza is really good. So far I'm loving the Sicilian slice with pepperoni. I tried the regular slice didn't like it much. Garlic bread was ok. Too much garlic for my taste. read more

I'm sure if you scoured every "best pizza" list you could find, Fazio's isn't going to be on it, but I say a very good argument could be made to give them one of those notable mention slots. The regular slice was good, but nothing special, your average NY slice. If I had just had that, it would be a run of the mill 3 star review. But of course, there's no possible way I could ever muster up the self control to just have one slice, which in this case worked out great, because the Sicilian slices are the real gems here, and definitely worthy of some praise. It's not your typical Sicilian slice here, I would say it's much more like focaccia bread, with sauce and cheese. Which really made for a great slice, and something relatively unique, at least for the NYC area. With the exception of a few heavy hitters (like: DiFara's, Emmy Squared and Prince Street,) I'd say Fazio's could hold it's own against pretty much any other Sicilian slice in the area. read more

Good food as always, great pizza! Love it. But delivery driver gave my sister a very stern almost inappropriate talking to in person that was slightly scary about how he can't walk up steps in building and it's "got to stop".... we order from there once a month. But that's what delivery is. That's why we tip the drivers. He was carrying on that he couldn't do it anymore. It's fine if he called and said I'm downstairs but he never did that. Obviously delivery is an issue so I'll have to change restaurants. It was very bizarre. In all fairness delivery man which is the same one every-time is elderly and overweight so I can see steps being an issue but they should probably give him a better job and give a kid the delivery job. read more

Probably the best Sicilian slice you're going to get in this neck of the woods. Nice and crispy on the bottom, reminds you of pan pizza. They sprinkle some seasoning on top that makes you think of Pizza Hut breadsticks but better quality. Good sauce to cheese ratio. Service is prompt and friendly. The space feels clean but casual, and they have seating by the windows which they open when the weather is nice. Feels very New Yorky. read more

Ordered from here once and the pizza was solid. It took a while but all around tasty and definitely seems to be the best in the area. To make this a classic Yelp review I'll talk about something else. Went to buy dough to make pizza at home - pro-tip - every pizzeria in NYC will sell you a ball of dough if you are feeling lazy but want to make your own thing. They refused to sell any dough balls because "it's the weekend," I kind of get it but kind of don't. You guys going to run out of dough if you sell 2 dough balls? If so maybe you need to reconsider your process. Also, for what it is worth, the employees were not wearing masks. Good pizza but a bummer experience with the staff, who claimed the owner had the NO DOUGH policy. Be good vibes, that's all I am saying. Won't go back or order again. read more

Ordered an eggplant parm hero, and there was no cheese? The eggplant wasn't fried or breaded or anything, okay fine have it your way, but no parm on the parm?! What in the heck. I saw a review where a comment was left that this IS the sicilian style. That's how i know sicilians are oobatz. Sicilian slices are bad, the and the eggplant parm is trash. Sticking with neopolitan food. read more
