I got three slices from here. The deep dish pepperoni and chicken, the chicken and broccoli and the regular slice. All of them were very good. The regular had a lot of cheese and had a good taste to it. The broccoli was nicely baked. Only complaint is that they could have had more chicken but regardless, it was still good. The pepperoni and chicken was probably the best deal. It was the same price as the chicken and broccoli slice but it was deep dish, and had extra meat. I don't know what's up with the bad reviews. Ordered a slice of their buffalo chicken and a slice of their grandma's ... Just from the taste, freshness & quality of theses two slices they are a solid 4 star pizzeria.......... The buffalo chicken was delicious, the chicken was super fresh and cooked perfectly... the buffalo blue cheese sauce is on point perfect amount ... eats like a meal, the crust is perfect to support the weight of this slice .... The Grandma slice.... minka !!! Whole tomatoes super fresh with fresh garlic & olive oil and super fresh mozzarella topped with fresh basil !!! This slice would be my go to all the time and I would think it's one of their best sellers ... Had to take a way a star because of the rude counter girl who served me .... needs proper training has no customer skills what so ever .... In today's times business owners & employees have to appreciate every customer that walks through their door ... but this girl almost made me walk out without ordering but lucky for them I was very hungry.... Have ordered a few times because it's the closest pizza joint. Pizza is mid at best but it's not pretending to be anything special. Trouble is they usually take 30 mins to make a pizza and I've honestly never seen more than a single to go order lined up or a single table in use so I don't know what they're doing for the first 20 mins after you order. Today I asked them to have it ready for pickup in 25 mins (honestly slow as hell). I showed up in 30 mins because I knew they weren't gonna have it ready. The lady told me my pizza is taking longer "because the vegetables have to cook" and they are busy. I look around at the empty restaurant and laughed. I asked if the dough that the guy in back had just started stretching was my pizza and they said yeah. 30 mins after I placed my order and they hadn't even stretched the dough. I cancelled my order and definitely won't go back. Nobody ordering mid as hell pizza has 40+ mins to stand around while these people do god knows what (other than making pizza). If you have 40 mins to wait for a pizza, just make dinner. Would love to see this place get some new management. Embarrassing excuse for a NY pizza joint. read more

I go here in a pinch. $3.25 per slice is acceptable but their slices are kinda thick and soggy (the way kids like). Everything else is overpriced and service is pretty slow compared to what you expect at a pizzeria. Right down the street from my apartment and they have the BEST consistently good plain pizzas in the area. The deal on Tuesdays for $13 large plain pies are the best! Never had to wait more than 20 minutes to pickup an order, even when calling during the busiest times on Friday or Saturday nights. Mozzarella sticks are also delicious, although they could be fried longer in my opinion. Great selection of drinks in the back and the staff are always helpful if there is a way you can qualify for one of the Specials (aka 2 pies and get a soda free, they'll remind you about the soda if you didn't know!). Me and me partner like to do a tradition we call "Mozzarella Monday" where we go there and order a bunch of mozzarella sticks on a Monday evening to go and then hit the oriental liquor store on St. Nich for a bottle of cheap rose on the way back to the apartment and then we eat the mozzarella sticks with rose over ice. We also usually split a Hawaiian slice just for fun. It's a good Monday tradition and their sticks are the best one in the vicinity.
