We had a slices of Grama pepperoni, Clam, and a Sicilian with and Broccoli Rabe When Fazio's first opened we've been living in the neighborhood for a while and we really happy that a slice shop of this quality had opened up near us now that we returned to our neighborhood are still extremely pleased that the quality has stayed the same. This is really good pizza. There's just no other way to put it. You are gonna pay for that quality but just suck it up pull your wallet out and give them your hard earned money if you want a slice of pure delight.

One of the best corner pizzerias in the city! Smells soooo good everytime you walk by. Clam slice and spicy pepperoni vodka grandma slice. Can't wait to try them all!

Some of the best pizza I've had in Brooklyn. I wasn't expecting it to be so good. Both the slices I got were very delicious down to the last bite. I would love to come back and see if they're consistent.

Mostly sicilian slices and they all all look delicious. I had the chicken roll which was nice and flavorful with just the right amount of chicken, cheese, sauce, and dough. My colleague said the sicilian was delicious. The prices were just right just under 10 bucks for my meal and CC can be used over $7.00. The place had an old school pizza joint feel with a big pizza oven. Overall pretty nice. read more

This pizza is dangerously good. The quality of the ingredients are amazing. We got the regular pie. The crust is thin but not too thin and crunchy too. Walking by I got a Neapolitan Slice with pepperoni. When I got home a few blocks away, I see my slice was hard and burned. Next time going by I order the same and ask them"don't leave it in oven too long." I notice when I get home. Not burnt but still hard crust. 3.95 for a few bites.Not going back. read more

It's a pretty good slice of pizza. I had two grandma slices, a corner and a regular piece. I really wanted two corners, but I didn't ask. First time here the other night. We were greeted warmly, like regulars! Very good, fresh sicilian, with really crispy crust. Lagunitas IPA - always nice! Stewart's sodas for the kids. OK: lemme preface this by saying that unlike everyone who's moving into this neighborhood, I am actually from Brooklyn and I grew up in Windsor Terrace so I know good pizza from garbage. The dough is yeasty, thin and delish. The sauce is flavorful and the cheese is high quality *sliced* (not shredded.) Listen up hipsters, this is what a pizza is supposed to be: simple, good ingredients, fresh. Also, they are super nice. I had my arm in a sling and the dude was really nice and got the door for me. Can't beat good manners. Bottom line: you want to eat bad pizza, it's your own fault. This place opened up around the corner from me and I'll be back. read more

I decided to try this place after my friend recommended it, plus its in my neighborhood. I simply wanted a slice but thanks to fellow Yelpers I felt like I needed to try the Sicilian slice as well. Unlike many other Yelpers I liked the regular cheese slice better than the Sicilian but I think it's a matter of preference. Both cheese slices were delicious... the sauce, the amount of cheese and the crust was flavorful. I typically don't eat the crust but this one was tasty! Definitely going back to try more. read more

If I could give them zero stars I would. The food was tasteless the rice balls tasted old and the square slices tasted frozen. Honestly if I have this food to a bunch he's probably give it back and ask me wtf garbage I'm giving him. Waited 15 min for 2 squares and two rice balls and the food was still cold.... also way over priced. To be honest probably the worst pizza I've ever had. I friggen LOVE this Pizza joint! The Neapolitan pie is the winner. It's consistently delicious. The different cheeses they blend is a clear mark of sophistication most all other pizzeria spots in the neighborhood seem to miss. The sauce is flavorful. Fresh out the oven is best way to enjoy. Santo Fazio was running his own successful Italian restaurant in the East Village when he decided he wanted to move to something simpler, where he could put all his energy into crafting simply exceptional food, and that's how Fazio's was born. We're a fast-casual Sicilian street food spot bringing Italian specialties and unrivaled Sicilian pizza to Bushwick. Our rustic interior and exposed brick walls make the perfect setting for experiencing pizza that'll bring you back to that first moment in your youth that you tasted great pizza. History

Established in 2016.

The desire to bring simple, yet authentic, Sicilian "Street Food" to Bushwick is what inspired Fazio's. Mr. Fazio wanted to bring back the Sicilian delights he had experienced growing up in the Arthur Avenue section of the Bronx. He approached it with a Field of Dreams mentality "Build it, and they will come!" He was right. Since his opening, the community has welcomed him with open arms, but their greatest compliments often begin with "This pizza reminds me of (insert your favorite place from childhood or youth) For Santo, it was the culmination of a dream to create the Sicilian and Neapolitan pizza he had grown up on.

Meet the Business Owner: Santo F.

Fazio's Pizzeria is the vision and creation of Santo Fazio. In his 20s, Santo traveled extensively in Italy immersing himself in Italian culture and cuisine. Ultimately, he was drawn to his ancestral roots in Sicily, specifically Palermo and Messina. It was here that Santo's passion for pizza took hold. When he returned to NY he became the pizza chef for Two Boots restaurant. He would go on to open his own Italian restaurant (Three of Cups) in the East Village and consult for numerous restaurants around the country before opening Fazio's.

I tried looking up this pizza from Target Richfield for a review, but it sent me to the NYC location, so forgive me if this review is in the wrong thread. Anyway, wow. I've been to New York City and ate at the original Joe's Pizza. What an epic slice of pizza. Now back home in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the great white north of snow that never ends, I finally tried the frozen Di Fara pepperoni pizza from Target no less. Sorry Joe's, but this is on par with your pizza (if it was frozen). Dave Portnoy was right with his high review. This pizza is very good. The thick cut pepperoni, great basil, and the crisp chewy crust was excellent for a frozen pizza. Nice under carriage as well. I cooked the pizza at 480 degrees in an electric pizza oven for 10 minutes, and the result was very good. I added a drizzle of hot honey, and it was spectacular (okay, I also added some fresh picked jalapeños as well). The pizza was hot and melted in the center, and the crust was very crisp, but still had some chew. Wow. This was the best frozen pizza I have had. Bar none. New York, you spoiled me when it came to pizza. Now I can get a taste of New York at home. Great job! I may or may not eat the last 3 pieces currently sitting in the fridge before bed.

Used to come frequently when Dom was alive. Watching him make a pizza was a true art form. He had…read moregrace, discipline, and love. He would pull the pans with his bear hand out of the oven and generously drizzle olive oil from a rustic copper container over every pie. He would then meticulously inspect the dough for bubbles. Then pop back in the oven for the imported olive oil to permeate and create a beautiful glistening coat. And once cooked he would then graciously cut basil on top of the pie. Dom has now passed but his legacy continues. I've always compared the then pie vs now. And like most things,, nothing beats the original. This is still a very good slice. I once rated them as the best in NYC. Unfortunately, its not at the very top but still on the podium. Coming back feels like you are saying hello to an old friend. If you haven't been, you have to try at least once.

This is where I go when I want these things. No longer living in NY, it's an hour+ trip, but always worth it. Many pizzas do not reheat well due to rubbish cheese- not L&B- pop it in the oven around 400°F, and let it crisp back up! Also- the Spumoni- it keeps at a nice consistency in the freezer, unlike rubbish American ice cream- which gets like a rock. The only other Spumoni I buy is from Corona. They're both phenomenal in their respective rights. When asked by non-NY'ers which pizza is my favourite- this is number one for Sicilian- not heavy at all. The crust is light, airy, and flavourful. The cheese to sauce ratio is perfect- not swimming in greasy cheap cheese. I have the same standards for Neapolitan Pizza. We can discuss that elsewhere. Please never close shop- at least let's celebrate the centenary!

Bottom line: the food is strong and worth trying, but the billing practices leave a bad taste. If those were adjusted, this could easily be a higher-rated experience.
