I had book marked Fatto like three years ago but never had the chance to try them. Well, we were at the Kaka'ako farmers market and there they were! I was pretty happy and we were both hungry, so we stopped by. They hand toss the dough and they have a very cool pizza oven. We ordered from the friendly woman and she said it'd be about 15-20 minutes. There were also orders way ahead of us, so it's understandable. I suggest going and finding a drink while waiting. When I went back, two small pizza boxes were waiting. Jai got the pesto without tomatoes and I got the pepperoni. Both were soooo good! I have to admit, that peso was delicious! Mine was excellent as well! They use quality pepperoni which makes all the different. Good crust too! Definitely worth ordering from if you happen to be there! Mahalo Fatto A Mano!

Stopped at the Honolulu Farmers Market on Wednesday evening. Had to stop and get a margarita pizza from Fatto A Mano! Some of the best Pisa in town! The workers are friendly and the food is great! So happy to support a local business!

Probably my favorite pizza right now. You cannot go wrong with the pepperoni playboy or the fungo. I'm sure the other options are equally delicious, but those are my go-tos. The sauce is perfect and the texture of the crust is soooo goooood. I usually don't finish the crust on my pizzas, but Fatto A Mano is definitely an exception. It's so crispy on the edges and nice and chewy throughout. They don't have a brick and mortar, so you'll have to find them at the farmers market or when they do occasional pop-ups in Kaimuki. They have 2 sizes and the small is pretty small. I can easily eat two of them myself--also because they're so delicious. I do want to try the Margherita next. If you see them at the local farmers market, make sure you give 'em a try. They're made to order, so you'll have to be a little patient, depending on how busy they are. It usually takes about 10 minutes. Such a simple pizza but amazing.

Found this gem while walking around the kakaako farmers market. Coming from NJ, I have really low standards for pizza over here. I kept walking passed it but I was craving hot food and wasnt willing to wait in the long lines for the breakfast burgers. I ordered the mini marg and it was like the light in me that died when I moved was re-lit. I wish I had gotten the regular size because I was craving more when it was over.

2021 Food and Wine's best pizza in Hawaii. Believe the hype. The dough, highly glutinous with the telltale hint of fermentation from a slow rise. The crust, perfect thickness. Bubbled, blistered and charred in all the right ways from its short cook in a 900+ degree wood fired oven. Hints of sweet smoke and charred bitter notes. Crisp, puffy and chewy all at once. The sauce, solid. Taste the tomatoes. Great acidity with ripe tomato sweetness. The toppings, simple, fresh in the proper proportions. Locally made sausage, fresh motz. Special mention for the pepperoni that cooks to perfection in the blistering heat AKA cups of pep fat with crisp edges. Small (aprox 6") or large (aprox 12"). Get a large ($17) per person. You're welcome. Pies cook in less than three minutes. The line moves fast. Tip: Consume ASAP for best quality. If it drops to room temp, a five second burst per slice in the microwave brings it back to life. Available at farmers markets only. Follow on IG for their schedule. Easily the best artisan pie I've had in Hawaii.

One of the best pizzas I've ever had. The special was so tasty. I forgot to take a picture of the name of it but ingredients included honey and vodka. The service was quick! Only 5 minutes but of course that time there wasn't a line. This was at the kakakaako farmer's market and we went around 11am. I guess it may be less busy than earlier in the morning. But anyway, back to the pizza! The subtle sweetness of the honey combined with a little spice made the pizza so delish. Will be coming back here to try out the other pizzas.

After coming across Fatto A Mano's instagram page, I was excited to give them a try the next time I was at the Kakaako Farmers Market. When I came across their stall at the market, I was excited to see they use a legit fire oven for their pizza. Their prices were also really reasonable for the size of the pizzas, especially considering the quality. I got a mini, which is the perfect size for one person. I tried the Margherita pizza and the Fungo pizza, which had mushrooms and ricotta cheese. Whenever I eat pizza, there are two main things I judge it on: the crust and the sauce, both of which were superb. The crust was soft and chewy, and the sauce was tasty and well-made. The ingredients all tasted very fresh too (the mushrooms on my Fungo pizza were AMAZING). The ricotta cheese on the Fungo was also loaded on and super thick. Overall, you could tell the pizza was well-made and packed with flavor. The Margherita was definitely my favorite, mainly because of the tomato sauce. I'm excited to visit them again at the farmers market and try even more flavors!

Fatto a Manno! At first glance a funny phrase like a bad comedian calling some guy fat in a bad Italian accent. But it turns out the phrase is incredibly thoughtful. 'Fatto a Manno' means handmade or made with one's hands. Which is an accurate description on how they make their pizzas. Wednesday afternoons for the Honolulu/Blaisdell Farmers Market is one of the two times a week FAM makes their way into Honolulu. The other time is the Saturday morning Kakaako FM. Thursday afternoons & Sunday mornings they are on the Windward side. I've seen them around the Blaisdell FM, but I've usually had dinner or other dinner plans. One time about a month ago I decided to try FAM's pizza with a small personal pan sized pepperoni. Like most brick ovens, the pizza was very quick! Very enjoyable, FAM's pizza had a very tasty char. Last Wednesday I got a regular (12") sausage. Again, most excellent! Another pizza to put on regular rotation! If I get the small, I'll have room to get something else at the FM! Will repeat and recommend!

Fresh made to order pizza! Fresh ingredients, epic hand tossed dough crispy chew crust, made with Aloha! Discovered at the Sunday Kailua Farmers Market! I'm a regular customer now, seeking them out each Sunday for my take home lunch. Really great pizza that delivers the flavors that make your taste buds dance and gives your tummy the loving romance! My favorite combo is the Pepperoni Playboy with mushrooms & extra cheese! Great friendly pizza crew that serves up fantastic pizza!

Almost choked on a huge wood splinter half way throug! Never have I almost died from a pizza.

Enjoyed trying out this pizza with all the hype. It was a good pizza prepared amazingly fast (7 minutes). Dough made from sourdough, so had the chewy deliciousness but a little too soft for my taste. Enjoyed their Fungo and Abe Froman...but a bit too salty, perhaps from the cheese.

My vegan dad gives the vegan pizza a 5 star rating! Not many places are vegan friendly but here they have a delicious vegan pizza with very fresh vegetables. We make it a point to get it at the Kailua Farmer's Market every Thursday evening!

So many people had told us that a sour dough pizza from Fatto a Mano was a must when going to the Kakaako Farmer's Market, but we wondered how good a pizza from a farmer's market in Hawaii could be. This was a surprise and we now understand why so many locals were getting boxes of these pizzas to take home even at 8 in the morning because they sell out. Since it was our first time trying Fatto a Mano and let's be honest - coming from a city like New York where you can get great pizzas, we were a little skeptical - we decided to get a small pie of the sausage pizza to share just to see what it's like. As soon as we took a bite of it, we immediately regretted not getting a bigger pie. The pizza was piping hot since they're freshly baked at the food stall and the crust was airy and perfect. This was definitely on par with the pizzas that you can get in major cities like New York and Tokyo and was probably one of the best things we ate on this trip to Honolulu. We only wish that they have an actual store so that we won't have to wait until the weekend to get it.

The chicken parm is incredible stacked with 3-4 pieces of chicken parm and their red sauce with mozzarella served hot. The Italian has three different meat with cheese and lettuce and bell peppers served cold. These were served with a different grained bread which was a lil different than what we are used to but still really great! There aren't much frills so you can have water or soda from their mini fridge. Almost like going to a corner pizza place in the city. Sandwiches available sometimes. We go early for lunch on Sundays and grab a seat outside. The proprietor was especially kind and friendly to my FIL and I appreciated that. Overall this is the second best NY style pizza place after black shamrock by a small margin - the Jersey pie at shamrock with its awesome sauce and perfect crust is hard to beat but don't think you can order it by the slice. So very very close.

The last time I ordered it, it wasn't quite the same, but I thought maybe it was just an off night. Unfortunately, after trying it again, I left even more disappointed. The pizza had very little pepperoni, minimal cheese, and the sauce tasted pasty rather than rich and flavorful like I remembered. The caesar salad was great, a little heavy on the dressing but definitely tastes like a normal good caesar salad even though it's vegan! The white pizza with the ricotta was amazing and pro tip would be to add the mushrooms. It was my favorite of the 2 pizzas we ordered. We also tried the Brooklyn which has vegan meatball, tomato sauce, basil and again, the ricotta. Yum! The vegan meat easily disguises itself as real sausage. The ricotta is so good on my walk back to the parking I heavily considered researching if it's possible to buy a similar vegan ricotta just from the store. The crust is also top notch which strongly contributes to the quality of the pizza. Pricing is reasonable and service was great. Overall it's a place with a very chill vibe to enjoy good pizza- whether or not you're vegan.
