Let me 1st say that I've been coming to this shop for 2 years or more. In those years, it's been a steady decline in service. The turn around time for workers are extreme. Everytime I'd get comfortable with a worker they were gone. I've never had the same nail tech provide services more than 3 times and that's the honest truth. Everyone's in hurry to get you out the shop. This last experience is what drove me to write this review. I setup an appt for a pedi and gel change on my hands. Like always the people I requested were no longer there. So when I got there I got whomever they assigned. The lady started my pedi but never finished. YES you read that right! She stopped after doing my polish and I never received LOTION or a MASSAGE or placement for drying. 20 min later someone else rushed through my gel polish. The owner offered me to pay $10 for my unfinished pedi (normally $25) HOWEVER when it came time to pay I was only given $5 off my bill. I didn't cause a scene, I paid my bill for the unfinished services and left without leaving a tip which I NEVER do. Needless to say, it's been a so so run with this shop. I'm done and will not be returning for ANY services. I should've stopped coming here when the original workers left but out of CONVENIENCE I continued giving them my business. No more. read more

My mother and I made a reservation for a manicure and pedicure on a Saturday afternoon at 1:30pm. We arrived right around 1:20 and they seemed a bit frazzled. We were seated right away, and a woman came over to start on my mom right away. We waited for about 15 minutes until we asked if someone was going to come do my toes. Then we asked again at 30 minutes, and by 45 minutes my mom was already finished with her pedicure and then her nail tech was beginning her manicure. Finally, almost an hour later, a woman started on my pedicure. About 10 minutes into my appointment, her other client, who made an appointment with her, was told to wait until I was finished or see someone else. Because we made 1:30 reservations and I wasn't seen until almost 2:30, we began running the risk of being late for another engagement that evening. Despite telling many people this, the only person that seemed to care was my nail tech. Still, she was very slow, and ended up cutting my toe and burning my feet with the hot towel. We finally had to cut my manicure short, and basically lost what we paid for - and we still had to rearrange our plans that night! Never coming back and warning all my friends. read more

I let the person in charge today know how i felt and he basically said"have a nice day" as i was going out the door. This nail salon gave me the worst manicure I have ever had in my life! The paint job was sloppy and extended onto my skin, it was that of a kindergartner who is learning how to color in the lines, the filing was terrible as my nails were left rough, and ragged which caught on my clothes, and my cuticles were not trimmed at all leaving them uneven and nail polish all over the bumpy cuticle! I must say the day after the manager did re do my nails and it was at least a normal job but nothing great! read more

In general, I had come here with no appointment and been able to get in within about 20 minutes. Today I made the mistake of calling and asking for an appointment for a gel manicure and a pedicure. I called at 11 AM and asked if I could come around 1PM, the man on the phone said no and to come at 5:30PM and took my name down. I thought this was weird, considering it is a week day and there would be more appointments scheduled for the evening than during the day, but I took the 5:30 appointment that was offered to me. I arrived and was not taken back for my nails until about 5:50. He did not think I needed a manicure but said he would do a gel polish change. So this took until around 6:45. I then tell the girl at the front desk my nails are finished but I still haven't gotten my pedicure. She said I would probably have to wait quite a while but we could schedule one for tomorrow..which annoyed me since I had a 5:30 appointment, but okay, I'll wait since I drove all the way here . So finally at 7:15 I go up and tell her I am leaving, but this was truly disappointing since I had an appointment for nearly 2 hours ago. I decided to leave after at least 6 women came in with 7PM appointments, knowing I would never get my pedicure. I honestly really enjoyed coming to fast nail because I feel they are cleaner than many other salons. They use disposable inserts in the tubs between pedicures and I liked that about this salon. However, I will not be returning. I am someone who gets my nails done religiously every 2-3 weeks, so they certainly lost out on a good customer. They need to have a better system in place for appointments vs. walk-ins and not to take more appointments than they can handle. read more

So disappointed that after waiting 1 Month to get a schedule with Tiffany. I confirmed my appointment 2days prior to my appointment date. when I get there for my appointment I was told she can do my nails because the regular client walked in and she took them. So the option I got was she is book all day I'm either I reschedule or someone else will do my nails. This is NOT the first time this happen if you are not regular there you will not be able to get your nails done on time. Even if there is someone there to do your nails they do crappy job just to get it so quickly. So that's why I waited a month to see Tiffany but that's not even working. So unprofessional. read more

While on vacation in Pittsburgh, I damaged my gel set ( don't ask). I am a regular at Dashing Diva in Pasadena, CA. I have had a gel manicure at another shop in LA & I will Never go back. They literally cut my cuticle & it bled. Back to Pittsburgh...I discovered Fast Nails on Yelp. It is close to the shopping venues in Monroeville. What a friendly, warm and professional atmosphere. I've been coming here for years and never had any problems. Recently, I came in for a gel fill. On their price list hanging in the salon it says that a gel fill is $25. I got my fill (mind you I had nothing extra done nor did they change my shape-- which by the way they charge $5 for.....) and my bill was $30. I respectfully questioned the nail tech as the giant sign says $25. She ignored the fact that the price was listed at $25 and rudely insisted it was $30. I can only assume she added the extra $5 for a tip for herself which I PLANNED on tipping her with cash anyway. I kindly informed her that they should update their price sign. I was excited to come here since so many people left rave reviews. I went ahead and made an appointment. When I first arrived I couldn't help but notice how run down the place was. I still gave it a chance. I got the worst excuse for a pedicure. I'm pretty sure I shouldn't have to tell you that I want the calluses removed or my toe nails cut. Isn't that the whole point of a pedicure? Next I got the shellac manicure and it came out patchy from uneven application. Also the nail tech didn't have me wash my hands before he applied the shellac so there was all sorts of stuff stuck in the edges of it. Now, not even 4 days later my shellac is chipping. The shop has relocated to a newer salon just two doors down. It's spacious, chic with a splash of glam. I went in to get my eyebrows done and left knowing I'd return for years and months to come. The new eyebrow tech is from NY, he's skilled, is attentive to the shape of your face and as a result, his work leaves you feeling like a million bucks. He says he also applies eye lashes, not sure about applying false eye lashes but I'll definitely return for eyebrow service. read more

This was the worst place I was ever at nail fell off 3 times plus 3 diamonds fell off gel so thin had to pay 60 dollars and all this gas. The manager was very very rude told me that I was basically screwed and that she will fix it and don't come back she said who runs a business like that. I made a appointment today for 4:45p I get there on time I sign waiver for Covid and wait for my temperature to be taken, after 10m my temp was taken and I was seated, as the technician was preparing for my pedi another woman comes in the building the tend to her right away, after they take her temp she walks over and says something to the nail tech waiting on me the nail tech looks at me and says I have to go do her nails she has a appointment, she gets up and walks to another station ask the white female to have a seat and began to service her, my mouth was wide open in shock no one said another word to me after 15m I said to the owner Cindy who walked by me 3x what's going on here? She replied she had a appointment I said so did I, half the shop is now starring at me.... well I'm happy to say I gathered myself and left peacefully, I'll never be mistreated by anyone then pay and tip them, it's getting hard to find good service, and on top of it all they keep putting these shops in different family members name because they get 7 yr tax exempt in our country. read more

So .. I used to come and was never really wowed but it worked and the location was convenient. HOWEVER.. I'm changing my rating as I'm never going back there again. For. Full set and pedi I went today but never again. She wanted to charge me an extra 5$ for coffin shaped nails. What? Here's the kicker I've never been charged for a coffin shape here before. I was about to pay that but I told her I usually get my nails done by someone else and he's never charged me. She turns to him and asks (I'm sorry I don't speak Chinese so I don't know what she said) and he looked me in my face and told me I must not remember but yes he does charge me everytime. Fast nails is the ONLY place I will go to get my nails done. I have been a loyal customer off and on for the last 6 years and will not go anywhere else. I really have no idea how someone could give this place a bad review?! Everyone is polite, they have an amazing nail color selection, and they just upgraded to a new salon that is gorgeous. They do a good job, but you have to be careful, they will overcharge you. They have a sign stating you cannot tip on your credit card, so I give the girl a cash tip and they charged my card anyway. read more

I don't like to complain about places but please don't even waste your money. The woman yelled at me saying I told her I wanted a manicure, when I clearly asked for a full set. The pedicure was less than mediocre and I could have done the same thing at my house, she didn't even put a top coat on. They also got polish on my hand and didn't even bother to wipe it off, I actually had to fix my nails when I got home. I will never go back, it was a terrible experience for me. read more

I used to like Fast Nail. They are very busy and if you dont have an appointment you can wait over an hour. Cindy the owner is very nice as well as Alex who used to do my nails. However Alex doesnt do pedicures so someone else would do mine. I have no complaints about the pedicures, they were always done quite well. My problem came with the one girl, Heidi, who did a pedicure for me one day. I wont go into all the details but I will say she made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. It was a bad experience that made me feel as though I would never go back there and I havent. The acrylic fills and pedicures were good. I went here with a group for a wedding. An appointment was made in advance, yet it took an hour and a half for me to get my nails done. The owner skipped me because I was getting gel manicure and not acrylic. The girl that did my gel manicure did not shape up my nails before doing the manicure. When I get a gel manicure done at other places they last at least two weeks. Several of my nails have already pealed and it has not been two weeks. I was asked if I wanted a pedicure by the girl who did my manicure. I stated yes, she then went on to try to pawn it off on someone else to do before doing the pedicure herself. The upside is that they let us bring champagne. I personally would not return here to use their services. read more

Honestly this place doesn't even deserve 1 star. My friend and I went to fast nails on our break, we work right up the street. We have an hour break and I just wanted to get my natural nails painted which should take about 20 minutes to a half hour. They took my coworker right away, didn't tell me how long of a wait. I actually thought I was going to be taken as soon as I picked a color. Instead a worker there sat down and ended up taking someone who seemed to be her friend. I sat there and waited, 4 more clients came in and they took two of them. I didn't hear them say they had an appointment. I waited for 50 minutes and they finally said they could polish my nails because they realized they skipped over me. I told them at this point I have no time. I am not a person to leave bad reviews. I work somewhere that surveys are VERY important. I am very displeased with this place and I will never step foot in there again. read more
