Michael was cheerful, considerate, and was pleasantly conversational. He actually took the time to understand exactly what I wanted & should expect from my pedicure. Which by the way turned out perfectly! The full service nail salon is spacious enough to accommodate a group of friends (about 5-6) for pedi's & mani's for a completely relaxing experience. My mom came with me ahead of my wedding and Natalie did amazing per usual, but my mom was nipped and bleeding all over the place with her nail tech and did not have an enjoyable experience. She gave me a gift card for my birthday last year but sadly I have developed a gel allergy so I haven't been back since (wanted to put it to good use). I have a wedding this weekend and decided to go, but the singular email they send you with the gift card was no where to be found. Didn't think this would be a problem thinking they would have the ability to pull it up on their end as I did have proof of purchase and the confirmation code. When I arrived, I explained the situation upfront and was told by the owner that the gift card would be honored. I get my nails done but when it was time to check out, I was suddenly told they couldn't accept it without the email and that I should contact the third party. Frustrating to be told one thing at the start and something completely different at the end, with no consideration for the customer and their lack of commitment. On top of that, the overall vibe in the salon felt very off, gossipy and standoffish. Even the way the owner spoke to my entry level nail tech at times came across as uncomfortable and unprofessional, which didn't make for a great environment as a customer. With how often this place seems to go through employees, I would think they'd value customer satisfaction and retention over $50 - but that didn't seem to be the case. Gracie was very sweet and did a good job, but I won't be supporting this business in the future. - Update - the owner finally found the gift card 12 hours after my appointment without any gesture to refund what I was forced to pay in-store. My nail tech was super sweet and worked really quickly- my pedicure was over in about 30 minutes and was only $30. My only complaints are that the color selection isn't amazing- it's decent, and I wanted a specific color so it worked out for me, but I have seen salons with many more options; also, the dryers are super hot. I couldn't keep my feet in for very long because it was not a comfortable temperature. However, these concerns are easy fixes and don't take away from the positive aspects of the salon. The nail tech let my friend and I chat next to each other while one of us got our gel manicure done and the other waited. The nail tech showed us the color we chose and then suggested another similar option for comparison. This was kind and appreciated, I ended up choosing the light pink he suggested because it went better with my skin. Over all the shop is small and nice. Not too sure about the cleanliness of the manicure tools, they were reusable and I don't recall if they were soaked or cleaned very much when switching between the two of us. Might consider coming here again. I do a lot of work with my hands and the gel is holding up great. I would want to know more about how they clean their tools now that I reflect on my experience I'm not sure that it was done (but I could be wrong)
