This place is truly hit or miss. When things go right, it is amazing. They take time and my eyebrows look incredible for a very affordable price. But just as often as that happens you can get a rushed experience where they don't bother to ask questions about what you want (or seemingly ignore what you asked for). What is crazy is that you can have that experience even with the same person. The plus side is that the threading is affordable. They also have tinting. With both services it is only $20. When they spend time and do it well it is a steal. When you get the bad experience it feels like a case of "you get what you pay for." The other thing to note is that they sometimes seem to be randomly closed during what should be normal business hours. I'd say you should call to check, but they don't usually answer even when they are there and open. read more

Horrible I went in there to get mine and sister eyebrows down and this lady butchered my brows. And had the nerve to try and tell me it's my eyebrows. Im most definitely not happy with the service at all. And I asked the lady to fix her mistake which she refused and had me walking around looking crazy. I got a tint and thread and I got my sisters threaded. So she seats us tint mine and thread hers. As she finishes up her thread a causauian lady walks in she could just see the eager in her face to get her in the seat and how you serviced her was so different from us. So she asked for light tint and and thread. So she seats her and I'm thinking she about to come and finish me up but I was wrong she does the lady's tint and takes her good old time. So now I know my tints finna be dark and my back is hurting all crazy. So as she is taking off my tints another causauian lady comes in. It took this lady like 5 mins to do my thread and messed them up and had the nerve to tell me it's my brows are different. I'm not sure why this place has such a bad reputation. I've been coming here for a couple years and had always had decent eyebrow services. Yes every now and again you get a different person and not one person quite does it the same as another but overall I've had nice looking eyebrows fairly painless and for $12 bucks. I've noticed a theme in this particular store of customers trying to get over on the girls that work here purposefully claiming issues to get their services discounted or free. I'm not saying that's always the case but I've witnessed it here before. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to someone. Don't let the reviews scare you if you want to try threading. I can't speak for any other service here. The girls are friendly but don't talk much as they are efficient and wanting to get you in and out of the establishment because there is usually a line. read more

Never will I go to this establishment! Never have I had an issue going to them. My eyebrows were always done how I like them, until yesterday... Yesterday I went in stated that I just wanted them cleaned up, She even had a visual of how I wanted them and yet she took it upon herself to damn near take my whole eyebrow. The employees are not mean, but they are not friendly. Very abrupt. It's mostly a hit or miss if your eyebrows are going to be threaded evenly. They don't even take the time to consult a little bit about what you want before they start threading and snipping with cosmetic scissors. Maybe they THINK they know what's best, but you should be taking a little More time. I only went back a couple of times after less then mediocre experiences hoping to be serviced by the same girl, the same way. I give only two stars (or else it would be one) for the couple of times that my brows turned out perfect. I now go to BROWS ARE US on Monroeville blvd. She takes the time and listens to you. Card machine was not working today on June 4th. She purposely let my wife sit down in her chair and get her eyebrows done. Then proceeded once she finished to tell her that we only accept cash because our machine isn't working. So we had to waste extra money using an atm machine that wasn't our bank and get charged an extra 5 dollars just to pull out cash. Did not even have the decency to apologize to us for there inconvenience. Never going back there again!!!! read more

I would NOT recommend for anyone to go this place to get their eyebrows done. They never listen to what you want!! I've had more BAD expreriences than GOOD. The women that work there are not friendly or welcoming, they always seem to be in a rush. They do not do a consultation on the shape or arch of your eyebrows instead they quickly thread it and then you're left with badly shaped eyebrows!! If you've ever been there you'll notice how thick and arched their eyebrows are but when it comes to doing yours, it has no arch and they thread your eyebrows too thin! However I've threaded my brows for years and this is the only place I've experienced pain strong enough to make my eyes automatically water. This is the eyebrow place downstairs in Monroeville Mall. DONT GO HERE! The threading was really painful and they were out of eyelashes. The girl didn't even ask how I like my brows before she did her own thing. She made me bleed and didn't care. I had to ask for a cotton swab for the blood. She had a major attitude. Nice place, did my eyebrows well. But weren't too friendly. Never got the names of them but they didn't speak too much. My mom asked her to do a certain spot and she barley responded. She did it but didn't say anything. took them about 3 minutes just to greet us and one of the ladies was just sitting down. Good place. Not too friendly though. read more

I've went here a couple times for lashes and they've mostly always did a good job especially because my eyes water profusely sometimes, well I had Karena this time she had a lovely personality and when I left the shop the lashes looked good. I woke up the next morning and half of the lashes were off I didn't have time do go back that day so I just went around looking crazy with half a lash done .. by Sunday my eye was burning so bad from the glue because the remainder of the lashes started to fall off Monday morning I called to see if they would be able to fix it & they tell me she doesn't come until Thursday (it's Monday) and that I would have to bring my receipt to get it fixed , well by Thursday they other lash will be off I'm expecting lol idk I feel like someone there could've fixed it since I only had them done for less than 24 hours , and I can't find the receipt so I guess they can't fix it read more
