This is a family owned business, and each one of the family members I have had experiences with, has been very good and very friendly. I actually had a pretty good experience here. I popped by back in June because I was in the area and was leaving for vacation the next day. I wanted to see if there was any way they could fit me in for a pedicure. They had a cancellation and we're able to fit me in. The gentleman who did my pedicure did a phenomenal job; taking his time. I walked into this location with my significant other and she asked how long it would be to get her nails filled. She was then barked at by one of the employees that if she didn't have an appointment not only would she have to wait 3 hours, but they would also be charging $10 extra for a walk in. I've gone here a few times throughout the past year or so. Initially, service was pretty good. I had a few issues with gel manicures not setting well. I've experienced that at other salons, so I wasn't too put off by it. If I went back within a day or two, they had been accommodating. I'm usually a pretty easy going person, but as I went to have a gel pedi and powder dip mani done before leaving for an overseas vacation; I had an issue. Before I even got home, I noticed gel bubbling and lifting. I called to see if I could go back and get it corrected before they left for the evening and was denied! I was told to comeback first thing the next morning! Mind you, I typically spend a decent amount on services for myself as well as family. Granted, it was no crisis; it was annoying to say the least! Again, being pretty easy going and understanding that business is business; I still hadn't sworn them off. Ok, so a few days ago (Wednesday) I had a nail fully crack down to the nail bed and wanted to have it removed, to relieve the pressure and sensitivity. I happened to be at a shop across the courtyard from them (Eyetique), so I decided to stop by since they're literally within a few feet of one another. My immediate concern was the cracked nail. That's it! I waited for about 5 minutes before I was asked what I needed. When I explained what my issue was and what I wanted; I waited for another 5 minutes to be told that only two people were able to deal with the type of nails I had and that they were just too busy! And this is after I expressed that I would go somewhere else to have whatever else I wanted done! I literally chuckled! Sheesh! I will NEVER step foot in that establishment EVER again! I also will NEVER recommend them to anyone, especially to associates who don't mind spending good money for "Quality" service! May this serve as an example of why it's important to be ever mindful of spending money at businesses where YOU ARE NOT appreciated! read more

My toes were chipping in less than a week and some of my toes weren't even fully polished. My nails started chipping at about a week! I really liked this salon! The inside isn't very sleek & modern, it's more "mom & pop" feel. They don't have the biggest collection of polishes I've seen. But if you can get past that, they do a fantastic job. My first visit, I had a gentleman do my Mani/pedi. He was very attentive, took his time, & actually engaged me in conversation. And my nails looked great! $37 for both which is not bad at all, IMO. Also, they have their prices posted, which I love. Some salons, you don't know how much you're spending until they give you the total & you're already done. I'll definitely be coming back to Angel Nails again, for sure. read more

To me it seems like they just pushed people in and out. No relaxation, no care. I asked for a gel MANICURE. Maybe I was clear in what I wanted, but it was really just a little shaping and gel polish. No cuticle clean up that I always need. It just didn't seem to be something that they offered. It was less expensive than other places, but lasted a little less as well. I want to start off with how amazing this place is! The staff is so welcoming and nice, I was greeted so warmly when I walked in. The nail polish selection is great and I was taken care of by one of the ladies and she was the best! Not only was she a great conversationalist, her nail work was impeccable. I'm usually really picky about how my nails are done and have a thing or two to fix once they're done being painted (I know) but I had no complaints here! They are detail-oriented and so so kind. I've been going to Angel Nails about every two weeks for the last year and I love them! They always take care of me and everyone is so friendly that I actually look forward to my appointments. They certainly take walk-ins, however sometimes (especially in the summer) they get pretty packed in there. So it never hurts to call ahead to make sure there's no wait. They always try to work with my crazy work schedule and my nails are always done just the way I like them (not too long, thin white line). It's always clean, the prices are more than reasonable, and no matter who does your nails...they'll be done right! read more

Really great salon with friendly staff and customers. It's a small salon but they have everything they need. It's in a great location in a little strip center with a Starbucks next door and restaurants and other shops as well. They were really quick in taking me as a walk in. Eh...not impressed. My gel "manicure" consisted of a young, maybe teenage girl filing my nails and painting them. It was not a manicure, and her painting skills weren't the greatest. The pedicure was decent, but they cut my toenails at uneven lengths which I didn't really notice until the dark polish was applied. The place is very small too. Got a pedicure there with my mom on her birthday and it was amazing! The massage chairs are really nice and they speak really clear English which is nice, so we can understand them. They use a scrub and massage your legs with really good smelling lotion. 5 star, definitely getting pedi's here from now on! :) read more

I got a pedicure and a full set of acrylics. The pedicure was good. She took her time to cut my cuticles and did a great job but I would have liked more of a scrub because my feet tend to get really rough. Then she gave me a quick foot massage which was good too! The full set was done beautifully. She did a very clean job. Most salons I have been to in the Pittsburgh area always tend to get the acrylic on my cuticles or are sloppy with the nail polish but that wasn't the case here. Everything was neat and clean and I loved it. The girl who did my nails also let me try on a few different colors to see what I liked because its a bit difficult to find a color I like against my skin tone. Great nail salon! My mom and I came in for a mani and pedi and were very happy with our experience. The people that worked there were very friendly and you could tell they took pride in their salon. I had a different person for my mani and pedi and both were very gentle when it came to cutting cuticles, trimming, etc. ( I usually hate that part). They even touched up my one nail free of charge bc I accidentally chipped it the next day. I will definitely be coming back here! read more
