I made the appointment for the kiddo online, which was really easy except we'd never been there, and you have to choose the tech you want. We didn't know anything about anyone, so we went with Tom because I'd read someone saying good things about him in a Yelp review. We arrived a little early and everyone was very polite. I think we were greeted by like three different people. Someone brought a book of nail polish colors and designs for my kiddo to look at while she was waiting. Tom took his time and did a really good job. Kiddo is beyond pleased with her nails. The only thing you really need to know before going is to take cash with you. You can use a debit or credit card to pay for your nails, but you can't leave a tip with it. You have to pay the tip in cash (which I never carry on me). They have an ATM machine at the back of the room, so luckily, I didn't have to go out to one then come back. But it charges $2.50. But now I know. And if you've read my review, you know, too. We will definitely go back here. Oh, I forgot to add that they ask for your birthday. While I was sitting & waiting for the kiddo to get done, someone came in and signed in. As soon as he signed in, the machine started singing a Happy Birthday song to him. That was unexpected and kind of cool. He then got 10% off because it was his birthday. read more

Solid quality pedicures and manicures. Large space (great choice for a girls day). Unlike many shops, they abide by appointments and you're taken right in at your allotted time. Bonus...text reminders! What could be better? Why not five stars? So far the two techs I have had have both been very slow, a mani pedi has taken just shy of 2.5 hours. That being said, it appears there are around 10 technicians and not all of them take quite that long to finish, so five stars is still a possibility. Either way, I've been satisfied with the final product and found it has lasted longer than some other shops, so as long as I'm not pressed for time, I definitely plan to remain a customer here! read more

First, I appreciated that they followed safety protocol for COVID by only taking appointments, taking your temperature when you arrive, requiring you to use sanitize when you come in and also having glass to separate employees from customers. I booked an appointment for a pedicure and had decided to get the Deluxe Pedicure. David was my technician and the massage he gave was so worth going for! First visit to this salon today. I booked my appointment via their website reservation tool. You have to choose a technician when you book that way, I hadn't been there before, but had seen the name Tom on reviews so I chose that technician and made my appointment. When I arrived and checked in, they assigned me to another technician, named Leo, which was fine as I had never been there before anyway. Leo did an excellent job. I had a gel manicure. I really wanted to like this place. Everyone was friendly but the quality was absolutely horrible. I got dip nails(always). After leaving, I felt over them and they were completely unravel. All of my nails were different shapes and on top of that, extremely thick! After less than 2 weeks, I ended up going somewhere else to get them done again because not only were they chipping, they looked disgusting. What a nice nail salon in Monroeville! I live in the city but have yet to find a single nail salon that does even decent work. This place is worth the short drive to Monroeville. I scheduled my first visit using their easy booking system on the website. I walked in for my scheduled time and was taken right away. For reference I have dip nails. The removal process Van used was a lot easier than the last salon and took half the time. My biggest issue with dip was that other salons left my nails bumpy and uneven. After applying the powder Van meticulously evened out my nails and applied a beautiful shiny top coat. Not only was everyone very friendly but the salon was also very clean. D&V Nails has now made me a loyal customer. This may have been my first trip, but I'll absolutely be back. read more

I spent 300 dollars here for 2 ppl and the toes, not only that they charged me to shape my nails n they charged me for 2 nails colors whenever we got 1 set each. The place is clean and has a big selection of gel/powders/and services Most of the staff is very nice the only reason I am not giving it a 5 star is because of the man who did my full set and the vibe that was given the entire time. From the second I sat down to the second I left I felt uncomfortable. When I got there I asked about the marble style nail and was told they could do it. Then when I was half way done with getting my acrylics put on I was informed they couldn't do the marble. Which to me was weird.. but I kept going with the service settling for another design which was fine. Then it was an argument if they could do it or not which happened in front of me while the guy doing my nails was polishing my acrylics down. After the argument he was rude and short with me about anything I said... I ended up leaving and getting halfway home before I went back to have another employee fix my nails.. overall the pedicure was amazing!! The owners are very sweet and kind. They use practices which lead to infection - dipping fingers in communal jar, cutting cuticles. My dip also had crack lines in it after a day or two. Nails looked beautiful, but the dip was too far from the cuticle leaving a large gap quickly. read more
