This review is specific to Shelby as the stylists all operate independently…read more I initially found Shelby through a Groupon and I'm so glad that I did! She is easy to book appointments with and has a nice variety of availability. The salon itself is bright and nicely set up. There are two nail techs and several stations for stylists. They have two shampoo sinks (where you can also get waxing done) and two dryers. Shelby has done cuts, colors and full highlights for me and also done cuts for my kids. What I like is that she is honest about what will and won't work with colors and styles. If she thinks something won't last or that you won't be happy, she will tell you and suggest alternatives that might work better. She works efficiently but you never feel rushed and her prices are very affordable. I always look and feel amazing after a visit to Shelby. Highly recommend her!

I was scheduled last minute with Rebekah. I was pretty nervous because I've had some traumatic haircuts in the past and I expressed that to her as soon as I sat in the chair. Don't be fooled by her quiet nature and delicate touch. Rebekah is an absolute BEAST behind the scissors! The teacher Mrs Marie was knowledgeable, very professional and very patient. all I can say is....WOW... I couldn't be happier with the result. Rebekah should be so proud of herself. Her precision, attention to detail, and patience blew me away. If anything, I just hope she steps into her confidence even more because her talent is undeniable. If you get the chance to book with her...DO IT. You won't regret it!

I was tempted to stay platinum blonde even though I hated it just so I didn't have fried hair on top of everything else, but Alex convinced me they could make me feel better about my hair and also not fry it. I'm not sure how, after three color processing adventures in one week they managed to fix my hair and keep it silky and soft, but they did. My hair looked great and I felt awesome. The staff is attentive and really listens to what you want and also provides suggestions without being pushy. The downside is the price. My cut, color and hilights is almost $200.

Very friendly and personable, but more than that she listened to everything I asked for in regards to my hair cut. I have lived all over the place and have had to find stylists while living abroad, in Texas, in a couple of spots in CA and now in PA. I hate finding a new stylist because you never know what you'll REALLY get. I read a great review about Nina before deciding to give Pure a shot and I am so glad I did. She got my length on point and helped me decide how the cut would work into some of the vintage hair styles I am wanting to try out. I will be back to Nina for color once I am ready for a refresh.
