Fast and affordable! I was locked out of my house and called. They were the only company to give me a flat rate and didn't jerk me around with what "might have to be done." The tech even followed up via text msg to get a picture of the lock and give me a quote before I even agreed to their services. Very impressed. We made copies of keys at Walmart self-key machine which didn't work, and got stuck on the keyhole of main entry door. Contacted fast locksmith and was provided a quote. This was at 9pm so most places were closed. Ben arrived quickly and assessed the situation, which was that the paint from the copies made for a poor fit causing it to get stuck. Since none of the keys worked, Ben was kind enough to offer to replace our entire door knob without additional charge, he also gave us 4 extra keys (that work!). This is my second review for Ben at Fast Locksmith. I was told that my previous review got filtered by the Yelp system, so hopefully this one will show up in the main page because I have since recommended Ben to dozens of people in real life as well. As I mentioned in my last review, I work in residential construction and was very happy to have a reliable, competent locksmith company that I could comfortably refer my clients to work with directly. So many contractors are great at what they do, but suck at customer service, so I don't refer people directly to subs very often. This is NOT the case with Ben and his company. I've referred a number of homeowners and friends to Ben in the past two years, as well as used him again myself. Everyone who has worked with him has gone out of their way to thank me for the referral because they had such a great experience. He even got me in to my car AND my house on the same day when I called him, frantic and late for work (long story...) I just bought a house, and part of the reason I'm writing this review update now is because I plan to call Ben again to change our locks, and I already know he's going to knock it out of the park for me. This is one of the most reliable and professional locksmith services in the area. I locked myself out after 1am on a holiday weekend and not only were they the only place open, they were on site within 20 minutes. The second time I used them for a lockout they were available again within 20 minutes which is way better then the average "60-90 minute" estimate most lock smith dispatches give you. Above all is the customer service. You don't speak with a clueless dispatcher reading a script; you speak directly to the locksmith. Also, they take great care in using the least intrusive entry techniques to preserve your door and frame, which is much appreciated. I dealt with Ben both times and he was just phenomenal. I locked myself out and had to walk to a 7 eleven to call. He picked me up at the gas station and gave me a ride back. So I went shopping before I went to pick up pizza. I ordered my pizza via my phone and got out of the car. Moments later, I realized I left the keys in the ignition with the car still running (I failed). After calling family to find out if we had a spare key (we couldnt find it), I googled for a locksmith in my area. I called around 845pm and the locksmith, Roy, was there in less than the quoted times 15 minutes versus 30-45 minutes. Roy was very polite, professional and understanding. He was easy and fun to talk to. He unlocked my car in less than 5 minutes without damaging the car. When I found out I had to call a locksmith, I thought I would have pay $200+. Not with Fast Locksmith, it was $85 to unlock my car. I cant get over how awesome Roy was and how fast he was to the Kings Park Giant shopping center. I have to say after doing some research and pricing out getting keys cut for my 2001 BMW 740iI, scored big time!!!! My locksmith Tony, gave me call after my initial call with the company and he was at my house in no time, I was a little nervous at first because I didn't know how long it would take and we had to be somewhere else within the hour. I managed to lose the key to the front door of my condo late on a Sunday night. The first locksmith I called didn't answer, then I called Fast Locksmith. They quoted me their flat rate for opening a residential door ($145) over the phone and said they could get someone out in half an hour. Sure enough, about half an hour later the locksmith was pulling up to my condominium complex. It turns out the locks in my building have custom keyways, so the whole process was an extra challenge. After inspecting a neighbor's key, the locksmith determined we would have to drill the lock to open it. In the end, I finally got into my condo, and Fast Locksmith installed a new lock that accepted my existing key. (I had a duplicate key in the condo.) The locksmith offered me free duplicates when they got their copying machine back. (It was currently being serviced.) I wanted to tip the locksmith for putting in so much work at a moment's notice at such an inconvenient time, but he wouldn't take it. Fast Locksmith was a life saver. Highly recommended. read more

I'd say Great Service sums it up!!! It was after-hours on a Sat and I recently had my lock jam on me and couldn't open my door, a very scary feeling. I called Fast Locksmith and spoke to the locksmith. He was able to come over quickly and get my door open, which was the first issue. But once the door was open, the lock was still sticking, so the locksmith spent a considerable amount of time fixing it and checking that it would open smoothly for me. I really appreciated that he took the time to explain what the problem was, and to ensure it was fixed correctly. Very impressed with the professionalism, expertise and quality of work. There is a flat fee depending on what type of lock it is, and the total bill was very reasonable. Also really convenient with the credit card option. Obviously I'd really like it if I didn't get locked out again, but at least its nice to know who to call right away should something like that happen again. I have nothing but exceedingly good things to say about Fast Locksmith. My husband and I closed and moved in to a new home RIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS and of course wanted locks changed and re-keyed ASAP. I was able to make an appointment for them to come out within 4 days. They were very courteous over the phone and even let me know when they were running late due to a car emergency. They not only re-keyed our locks but recommended lock changes so that we could have the same key on our front and back doors. My husband even mentioned that we wanted to use a smart lock and the gentleman was willing to wait for him to get the lock so that he could install it and looked through the manual so we could set up the touchscreen on the lock. He also replaced a lock in our back gate and adjusted the lock on our front door so that the lock was flush when the door was closed all the way (the prior lock was placed incorrectly.)
