We did a major house renovation a few years ago and our contractor brought in Nick from Poseidon Systems to do the alarm system and a few other low-voltage items around the house. Nick did a fantastic job. He was very careful and strategic about where to place the various sensors around the house and was very thoughtful about the installation, testing all of the sensors many, many times to make sure they worked as intended. As we've lived in the house, we've had Nick back a number of times to add items to the system. He has always responded to our calls quickly and professionally and we've had nothing but positive experiences with him. I should also add that his prices are reasonable. We looked into installing an off-the-shelf DIY system (e.g., Ring alarm system), but it really wasn't that much cheaper. I would rather hire a pro like Poseidon Systems! read more

I'm giving 4.5 out of 5! (But it doesn't show up that way with the stars unfortunately) If you have a custom television installation as we did, Alex did a terrific job. We had a large HDTV to place above a fireplace on a wall with 6-inch wood slats. Without going into the details, it got complicated between drilling homes to hide the wires. He came back to paint afterwards, still keeping to the original price despite the extra time spent to complete the work. He does more than TV installations, with increasing demand for home automation/integrations. A week ago, the wife and I decided that we wanted to mount a TV on the opposite side of our cable connection wall. I went on to Yelp and searched "Mounting TV." I sent the same message to each business describing the job for which I was looking to do to include a photo of the room. Each business wrote back some more detailed than others but the common thread which I discovered from each company was that they wanted to run the cable wire around the room via staples then concealing the wire with wire-mold. After much debate we really thought the wire-mold was tacky and we wanted the wires snaked through the wall to the opposite wall so that the wires were hidden. Out of the 20 messages sent out to business, 5 business were willing to snake the wire to the other side. Out of those 5 businesses 4 of the business were willing to snake the wire then patch the holes using patches and leaving me (the customer) left to finish the job of sanding and or fixing the patch or applying mud and leaving me to sand down the mud. None of these 4 businesses were willing to sand the mud and or paint. My wife and I eliminated those 4 businesses and decided we needed to find a business willing to do the entire job and not leaving the job short by not sanding the patch and painting. At last, we find Poseidon Systems and Alex. To begin, Alex is intelligent, professional and described the project from beginning to end. I felt relieved that after much research and interviewing that Alex fit the project to a T. On the day of the project, Alex came prepared and mapped out his work. The end result of the project was exceptional. Alex snaked the cable wires to the opposite wall, mounted our TV and used mud which we wanted over patching to give the wall the treatment it needed to return to its former self. Alex did a phenomenal job sanding and then re-painting the wall back to its original form. Update : I have included email conversations with the business, telling them about the mistake they made, with them acknowledging the speakers were in the wrong place and they weren't sure why, even offering up excuses. And as seen in the email, this correspondence was a little over a year ago. A very dishonest business that blames the customer for their mistakes, does not take responsibilty for fixing the mistakes they make even after acknowledging in emails, and then denied making the mistake all together when called out. I'd recommend Alex for the next job- mine or other's. He was extremely nice, polite and friendly, an increasingly rare quality these days.
