I do not frequently give 5 star reviews, but in this case it is well warranted. From the beginning stages of renovating my home theater, Vultron had excellent communication and demonstrated competence while not trying to over sell a product. They immediately put me at ease and walked me through the entire process. Timeliness - this is important to me when planning time off to be present for contractors in my home. Vultron was always there on or before the time promised. They came with what they needed to complete the work and were extremely pleasant. Quality - I think this speaks for itself, but I am more than happy with how they transformed my home projector into a home theater to be envied by the neighborhood. See the before and after below. The installers did not follow instructions and decided to place the rear speaker on the side and the column speaker off-center on the column... both speakers installed incorrectly. They decided not to remove the speaker face and patch work around it. Now I have drywall cement all over my new speakers. And I am left to re-paint and fix the terrible patch job. Update 12-11-2024: Leshaun called me to try and come up with a resolution for this issue. He insisted that I tell him what I want to have this resolved, instead of presenting me with resolutions that would provide a more positive customer experience. After going back and forth he offered me 2 options. The first option was to come and "fix" the issue himself. The second option was for him to reimburse the installation cost. He would only do this if I removed my review. Though I let him know I would give this review more stars and update it accordingly, he did not accept that. Once I told him I would not remove the review, he became irate and belittled me on the phone. We DID NOT come up with a resolution and he did not provide any further customer service. tldr: The install was good. The customer support was rude and deceptive. The long version: They did a good job installing and mounting our TV. The tech was really patient with us and helped decide where to put it. Everyone was really nice when scheduling. Shortly after the TV was installed, I reached out and mentioned we were having issues with one of the HDMI cables/ports they put in. Our devices worked when plugged in directly into our TV but not when we plugged it into their port. I said "We're hoping this might be covered by a warranty" of the work. They scheduled me to be seen the next day. The tech was running behind schedule and I wasn't able to be home when he came, but my spouse was. When the tech came out he said it wasn't anything they did, and basically that sometimes things will randomly not work but if you unplug it and replug it a bunch it can fix it. Then he charged a $250 service fee. No one ever mentioned to me that there was a service fee, or that amount. After my spouse contested it while they were on-site, they reduced it to $150. When I got home and heard the story I figured there must be some misunderstanding. But when I called to clear things up, I was told that they "wouldn't do work for free" if it wasn't their fault to begin with. I told them I understand why someone might charge a service fee, but that I should have been told about it before they came out and that I wouldn't have scheduled a visit if I had known. Maybe we could have done some troubleshooting on the phone to make sure it was something that was under the warranty? Also, it really seemed like it was something wrong with the cable they had supplied or the port they had installed since it worked fine when plugged into the TV directly. He said that I was told about the service fee "when they installed the TV" the month before. The only thing that I got when they installed the TV was on the estimate and it said "Additional fees will apply if the client elects for Vultron to make the Tech support call on the clients behalf for their purchased device. ... Additional fee starts at $150 a flat fee may be given in certain circumstances." Apparently they think this statement on the estimate means they can charge whatever they want during a warranty call after the work is done, and not tell you about it in advance. After many aggravating minutes talking in circles, I was told that my "attitude wasn't helping us come to a solution" - isn't the solution just not charging me when I wasn't told I would be charged? I don't know what else could solve this problem. When I tried to suggest that solution, I was told that was "extortion." I eventually just hung up because it was clear they weren't going to do anything about this problem. In short, they did nice work but I will never work with them again. Even if it isn't technically their "fault" that the port doesn't work like it should, this whole situation was handled terribly. The possibility of a service fee should have been disclosed when I scheduled if that is how they want to run their business. read more

To tell the truth, I was cautious about so many wonderful reviews. But let me say, every single great review is true. I cannot say enough great things about my first time experience with Davante. I went to Vultrons website, saw estimate and requested install. My tv was 65 inch new in the box Samsung and sound bar. I was told by others the install was difficult house was old and dry wall had to opened to install studs, etc etc and one estimate price $1900. So I wanted another estimate obviously . Davante came the same day I called. He was quick, and so courteous with manners you don't see anymore. He explained everything. He worked fast and had 1 dime size hole (I think because I can't find it). A beautiful install. He even explained the tv and how to get going. So the contractor who told me $1900 was at my home finishing kitchen. I told him Vultrons price which was waaaaaaaaaay under his and how pleased I was. The contractor inspected the work and had to admit it was an awesome installation. My husband who swore he would do drywall work to save $, was pleased speechless! I emailed them with some questions and heard back almost immediately. I had more questions and they called me to save time. I was happy with the responsiveness and price, so set up an appointment. Unfortunately, I was notified that my new TV delivery was delayed by a day, and Vultron quickly changed the installation to a day later. Jose arrived on time and got to work. He was efficient, got everything mounted perfectly, and configured the TV and soundbar. And then he took the time to show me the basics of the systems. I chose Vultron after a Google search for someone to install a TV over the fireplace. I am so glad I did! The service was awesome! I emailed Lashaun with a description of the job I needed done, along with some pictures. He emailed promptly with a very reasonable, itemized estimate. When the time came, he was ready with a date to come for the installation and didn't mind a bit when I had to reschedule because the TV didn't come in on time. On install day, they were prompt, prepared and cared about cleanliness. They got right to work uninstalling the old TV and moving the now unneeded console, to prepare to hang the 65" TV over the fireplace. When they opened the box, the TV was badly damaged. With no hesitation, Lashaun said, "let's just take it back and get another one". He then loaded it in his van and we went to the big box store to exchange it. He waited with me and even helped me pick out a different, better TV (they didn't have mine in stock). He loaded it back up and back to the house we went. He mounted this big ole TV in front of the nook that was above the fireplace lickety split! He fabricated the brace and put on a telescoping mount, then hooked up all the gadgets and hid them behind the TV. He set the TV up (good thing, cuz it's a smart TV and smarter than me!) and then the sound bar. When they left, the floor was clean, the boxes removed, and all I had to do was sit in my Lazy Boy and watch my new TV! The coax I had was coming straight out of the floor and options to relocate were limited. I was growing weary because company after company seemed unwilling to help. I am so grateful I came across Vultron because they solved my problem so easily! Mr. Mack responded to my initial email quickly and scheduled my work to take place within a few days. The online invoice was easy to approve and the two employees arrived within the one hour window I was given. They were courteous, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. What had seemed like an insurmountable task was just regular business for them, even given all the intricacies of my old building and the difficult crawl space. They were considerate of my home and cleaned up expertly after the work. They even took the time to tape the excess cable together so it was neatly arranged and they ensured my router/wifi was working properly before leaving. Great mounting of a curved Samsung 55 inch television with sound bar and shelving to hold my Roku and DVD player. Volton actually arrived ten minutes early and went right to work. They were hampered a bit because I've had the TV and sound bar for almost three years with three moves and because I had never mounted these items, had lost track of the mounting hardware. Neverfear though and they adapted, improvised and mounted these items with no problem. I used Vultron a month or so ago to install a 55" TV in my den. LaShaun does such a good job, always has a positive attitude, and arrives on time and puts booties on without being prompted; ready to go to work. So, I called Vultron back again to install a 32" TV in one of my guest bedrooms. LaShaun came up with an ingenious installation solution which allowed me to hide the cable box and other stuff in the closet away from the TV. What a great install. While I'm sure Vultron isn't the cheapest, I'm just not sure you'll find much better in TV, A/V, and security installation in Northern Virginia. LaShaun came to install my 50" tv above my fireplace. I was very picky about how it would look, where the wires would be hidden, etc and he was very patient and explained to me all of the options.
