Ricky was amazing! From the start where using Yelp to initiate request for quote, continued to scheduling and more communication was great. Overall the installs was quick and easy, two TVs installed with in-wall cables and power. Something I could of done myself but prolly wouldn't be as straight, clean or quick. Taking the time to have someone with experience and expertise is worth it and the proof is clear.

Ricky showed up on the day and time promised and was very professional and respectful. He even wore shoe covers as he worked throughout our home. This son & father team are so nice!!! They came the following day to mount my tv, instead of making me wait 2+ weeks like Best Buy and other large companies. Ricky is the man. After struggling to find a reliable source for TV mounting in DC, I reached out to Ricky (owner) due to his outstanding ratings. I wanted to find someone who absolutely knew what he or she was doing when mounting a TV and I can say with 100% certainty that Ricky is the best service provider in the greater DMV area. Ricky was incredibly responsive, provided an absolutely fair quote, and installed the TV mount within a few days of reaching out to him. He and his assistant were professional, communicative, and even wore shoe covers to avoid mess while drilling/set up (also vacuumed). Ricky gave recommendations re: TV height and preferences and he absolutely knows what he's doing, given he's an industry expert re: TV mounting and suggestions about TV height, living room configuration, etc. he and his assistant mounted a 75 in Samsung in my living room in about 30 minutes - quick and easy. After installation, Ricky even gave me a run down of how to disassemble (if I were to move), and even offered if I ever had any trouble with anything to call him and he would take care of it. I confidently recommend Ricky if you want stellar customer service, a professional/expert with TV mounting, and overall excellent experience. 10/10 rating for me, and will use Magic TV Mount/Ricky again for any needs.

Ricky was fantastic! He came exactly on time and was in and out in 45 minutes. He added an outlet behind the TV so the wires wouldn't show, wall mounted the tv, and got the tv started for us. Ricky and his assistant Joseph delivered top notch tv mount installation over the fireplace. He also installed an electric outlet so no cables were visible. Ricky provided greta advice and is a wealth of information. He and Joseph are very detail oriented. The installation was done quickly and cleanly. I picked this place because they had excellent Yelp reviews, and they still managed to exceed my expectations. I had two TVs to be mounted, and they did an amazing job with both. I knew I wanted TVs mounted but didn't know exactly what was needed - luckily Magic TV Mount were pros and were prepared. For example, I needed a longer HDMI cable to put the cables in the wall, and they had one with them they used since I didn't have one. They worked very quickly and did a great job. read more

I had an absolutely awesome experience working with Ricky! I mounted two TVs over two wood-burning fireplaces. He is knowledgeable, not pushy, polite, super responsive to questions before meeting, and is patient. When he came out to mount the TVs, he spent a lot of time talking with me about my options and allowing me to fully assess the proper mount and make my decision. Ricky replaced my Samsung tv and did a fantastic job. There was a purple line on my old one and I was bummed out. I had to fight with the warranty company to give me a new tv. Costco saved me. Ricky and is son hung a 65" TV and sound-bar in our main room, as well as a second TV in our bedroom. From the moment I sent out a request for an…read moreestimate -- to which they replied right away -- to the moment the entire installation was complete, I was satisfied. They were flexible with me possibly having to re-schedule my appointment at the last minute if the cable equipment had not arrived on time. The installation team arrived at the time promised. They were polite, clean and professional. They used shoe covers, which I appreciated. I bought my own bracket and they were very familiar with it. They even uncrated my 85" TV from my move, which required them unscrewing wooden boards -- much more work than simply opening a cardboard box. Then they measured precisely, putting guide tape on the wall that they removed without leaving any marks. They also cut a hole on the wall behind the TV to run the power cord behind the wall to the outlet near the floor. The work was professionally done and looked great. They ran all the cables along the bracket, which was important because the bracket and wall would be visible when I pulled the TV out and swiveled it to seen from the kitchen, dining room or the living room. The whole process took under an hour and they didn't seem to cut any corners. The estimate was not the least expensive I received, but I felt the thoughtful questions they asked before I even accepted their quote, indicated the attention to detail that I wanted -- and I was right. I can't say if all their teams work this well, but the one that came to my house was exceptional.

When they got to our house, it was the best experience from the beginning to the end. They were two of the friendliest people ever. The TVs were hung perfectly, cables hidden - suggested an idea for the tv boxes and it went flawlessly. I also realized I needed a network cable connector added in the basement, and with no questions asked, they fixed that too! It isn't often you encounter a business like this, but I could not recommend them any more highly. I had started the job myself but got an anchor screw stuck and figured I should have a pro step in so I didn't wreck my new walls. All the supplies were here, placed where they needed to be, holes were measured and marked for custom made rods and drapes. He charges by the hour and moves very, very slow. He didn't have his own step ladder or anchor screws. In the first hour, he managed to put in 3 screws in holes that had already been marked. He claimed he "needed to remeasure" and that's why it took so long, but he used the holes that I had already marked. He also said it was too hard to do with custom cut rods. He also said it wasn't his fault because I had an anchor screw stuck in the wall already, which was the whole reason I hired him. This is what pros do: they come prepared, know the required materials and techniques, and advise the customer on the best way to proceed. I knew we needed to cut it off when he asked me how to use an anchor screw. He didn't know if you needed to pre-drill or not for a very basic and common anchor. I cannot imagine a professional handyman not knowing that. He used a level to stare at the pre-marked holes for what seemed like an eternity, just eating up time. 3 screws = $200. Seems like a nice enough man, but handyman may not be the profession for him, and that's giving him the benefit of the doubt that he wasn't just trying to take advantage of someone he assumed was too naive too know how long the job should take. He became very defensive, making excuses when I said we'd need to end the job at one hour. Im sure judging by other less than 5 star reviews here (that I really wish I'd have taken the time to read) he will post a very defensive response here as well. Please just don't take a job you don't have the required expertise to complete, and I don't want to hear defensive excuses when I'm still out $200 for almost no work completed.

He hung 4 of my tv's (a 65 in, two 55 in, and a 32in) and hid my wires threw the drywall for a very reasonable price. He has tv mounts for good prices and HDMI cords for a low price. They had our tv up in very little time and left zero mess (they even wiped it down to prevent leaving fingerprints after). They were also by far the least expensive I found.
