Ricky was amazing! From the start where using Yelp to initiate request for quote, continued to scheduling and more communication was great. Overall the installs was quick and easy, two TVs installed with in-wall cables and power. Something I could of done myself but prolly wouldn't be as straight, clean or quick. Taking the time to have someone with experience and expertise is worth it and the proof is clear.

We had a great experience with Magic TV Mount. So glad companies like this still exist! I contacted Magic TV Mount about having 2 TVs mounted in bedrooms, to include extending power and hiding cables. I spoke with 'Ricky', who answered all my questions, to include pricing and scheduling. I asked Ricky to provide mounts that met our requirements and that he was comfortable using. Ricky showed up on the day and time promised and was very professional and respectful. He even wore shoe covers as he worked throughout our home. At installation time, Ricky made suggestions (that varied from my original plan) and those recommendations exceeded my expectations. Good call Ricky! This guy knows what he's doing and does it at a fair price. We will have him back again!

This son & father team are so nice!!! They came the following day to mount my tv, instead of making me wait 2+ weeks like Best Buy and other large companies. Very knowledgeable, had and used all of the correct equipment, and cleaned up the wall dust etc. before leaving. I HIGHLY recommend them! Ps., it was a 75" Samsung Smart Tv they mounted, with ease! I had my own mount, but they switched my screws out for better ones - and better cables too.

Ricky is the man. After struggling to find a reliable source for TV mounting in DC, I reached out to Ricky (owner) due to his outstanding ratings. I wanted to find someone who absolutely knew what he or she was doing when mounting a TV and I can say with 100% certainty that Ricky is the best service provider in the greater DMV area. Ricky was incredibly responsive, provided an absolutely fair quote, and installed the TV mount within a few days of reaching out to him. He and his assistant were professional, communicative, and even wore shoe covers to avoid mess while drilling/set up (also vacuumed). Ricky gave recommendations re: TV height and preferences and he absolutely knows what he's doing, given he's an industry expert re: TV mounting and suggestions about TV height, living room configuration, etc. he and his assistant mounted a 75 in Samsung in my living room in about 30 minutes - quick and easy. After installation, Ricky even gave me a run down of how to disassemble (if I were to move), and even offered if I ever had any trouble with anything to call him and he would take care of it. I confidently recommend Ricky if you want stellar customer service, a professional/expert with TV mounting, and overall excellent experience. 10/10 rating for me, and will use Magic TV Mount/Ricky again for any needs.

This is our second experience with Ricky, and it was every bit as good as the first. This time Ricky replaced a smaller sound bar with a bigger one that reproduces voices better, and moved the old sound bar beneath a new TV we had installed in the bedroom. Ricky and his son were fantastic! They mounted one 70" Samsung above our fireplace and another 65" Visio in our basement workout room. Ricky was very responsive to my initial outreach and explained to us what wireless box setup we would need. They were in and out of our house in a couple of hours. Already recommended Magic TV to our friends! Ricky and his son mounted our LG OLED GX 77 and 55 inch TVs, and we could not be any happier! Before scheduling with Ricky, we actually called a number of TV mounting services in our area with more than avg 4 star review on Yelp. But Ricky was the only one who knew well about the LG GX model and offered the most reasonable price! When you talk to Ricky, you can definitely tell that he is very experienced and knowledgeable :) Also, he and his son showed up with their masks on and shoes covered, kept their masks on and shoes covered throughout the service, and even brought a vacuum cleaner to clean afterwards! I went with Magic TV Mount due to the high reviews, and would rather support a local business than a big box store. I am SO thrilled with Magic tv mount and Ricky's services. I called around to several other company's looking for someone to mount my 55" and 60" tv, and nobody's prices came remotely close to the price I was quoted with Ricky. It was VERY reasonable for the size of TVs we were mounting. When Ricky came, he was on time, prompt in his work, and EXTREMELY professional. He even went as far as to remove his shoes before entering our home, without us even asking him to! He also recommended some extra safety measures with mounting our tv, taking note to our having a child in the home. I've literally never dealt with such thorough and detailed service before. To make this experience even better, the overall finished product was great! He hid all the wires, put plates in to conceal the holes in the wall, cleaned the TVs after he finished and even left me with some tv cleaner at no extra charge! I just had 2 Big TVs mounted in my new home. Ricky gave me a great price, great suggestions, and professional and courteous service. The wires are hidden, and the job was done perfectly. Ricky set up the DVD, cable, a Wii, and XBOX. He even programmed the channels on my TV for me. Oh, he also did not make a mess at all. He laid a work blanket down everywhere he worked and wiped everything down after he was done. I was so impressed with his ability to put wires where they needed to be. He created new outlets so that the ugly wires would not show. If you want the best price and best service, call Ricky. TVs sitting on tables and entertainment centers are dangerous, especially with small children in the house. Mounting TVs in a professional manner is the only way to go. The 5 star reviews are legit. Ricky and his son came to my house to install our TV over the fireplace. We have the Samsung frame TV which involved a few complications that a normal TV wouldn't. Ricky was immediately responsive, explained everything to me in detail and even showed me pictures of previous Frame TV that he hung. I also really appreciated that they covered their shoes and made sure to vacuum before they left. Wouldn't go anywhere else for this service. read more

I'll happily give the 88th five star review to Ricky ad Magic TV Mount. I was visiting my in laws in Reston, Virginia for Thanksgiving and Ricky helped us install a Black Friday Special we bought at Best Buy. Ricky was able to respond promptly to my request on a Sunday and squeeze us in in what I imagine would be a busy schedule. He was clean in his work, helped us make an informed choice about mounting height, helped us clean up wires, and now the living room looks amazing thanks to his help. He also helped us save money figuring out what cables and extra stuff we really needed. My in-laws are A/V novices and they really learned a lot in the process. We need to mount our TV and soundbar at our new place above a stone facade fireplace (tricky installation). I called Ricky and he was very responsive, asked for pictures so that he could quote me an accurate price. He was able to fit me in quickly into his schedule. He described exactly what he was going to do very carefully hid all the wires and the mounting looks great! I called Magic TV Mount back to my home after Ricky did an outstanding job mounting my 65" Samsung above the fireplace in my family room. This time I needed a 75" mounted in my basement and some rear surround speakers installed with wires ran through the drywall. Ricky and Sam did an impeccable job and I was impressed with the quality of service yet again. They completed the job in record time and they even took the extra time to calibrate my whole speaker setup through the built in software on the receiver. Responded very quickly and offered to come the same day, on a Saturday, no less, so we appreciated…read morethat. We needed curtains hung. I had started the job myself but got an anchor screw stuck and figured I should have a pro step in so I didn't wreck my new walls. All the supplies were here, placed where they needed to be, holes were measured and marked for custom made rods and drapes. He charges by the hour and moves very, very slow. He didn't have his own step ladder or anchor screws. In the first hour, he managed to put in 3 screws in holes that had already been marked. He claimed he "needed to remeasure" and that's why it took so long, but he used the holes that I had already marked. He also said it was too hard to do with custom cut rods. He also said it wasn't his fault because I had an anchor screw stuck in the wall already, which was the whole reason I hired him. This is what pros do: they come prepared, know the required materials and techniques, and advise the customer on the best way to proceed. I knew we needed to cut it off when he asked me how to use an anchor screw. He didn't know if you needed to pre-drill or not for a very basic and common anchor. I cannot imagine a professional handyman not knowing that. He used a level to stare at the pre-marked holes for what seemed like an eternity, just eating up time. 3 screws = $200. Seems like a nice enough man, but handyman may not be the profession for him, and that's giving him the benefit of the doubt that he wasn't just trying to take advantage of someone he assumed was too naive too know how long the job should take. He became very defensive, making excuses when I said we'd need to end the job at one hour. Im sure judging by other less than 5 star reviews here (that I really wish I'd have taken the time to read) he will post a very defensive response here as well. Please just don't take a job you don't have the required expertise to complete, and I don't want to hear defensive excuses when I'm still out $200 for almost no work completed.

Aomed was prompt in coming in, evaluating our old setup, and giving us several different options in formal proposals along with the prices upfront. He did not use any hard-sell tactics (i.e. no car salesman-like tactics). For installation, his team, led by Arnas, was prompt and did a superb job with the installation. There were some issues after installation (partly on us not knowing how the speakers work with Atmos), but Aomed gave us his mobile for texting. He responded to each issue, and a couple of times, Arnas and his team were out to fix them and show us how to operate our new system. Aomed and his team deserve the 5 stars. The only issue was when it took a while to get ahold of him while he was out of the country, but he responded back quickly as soon as he got back. I'm sure his business will grow as his reputation increases, and hopefully, he'll have a customer service person who could help with calls. The best thing is he and Arnas told us we could continue to contact them whenever we needed any help. (for example, I just sent Aomed a text, and he replied within seconds).

We worked together for the next few months on the equipment options and installation schedule. Despite our limited budget Aomed worked with us to maximize what we were getting, while giving us a great deal. Communication is a bit on the slow side, but the result exceeded our expectations and we now have a very nice AV setup thanks to Aomed and his team.

I had started the job myself but got an anchor screw stuck and figured I should have a pro step in so I didn't wreck my new walls. All the supplies were here, placed where they needed to be, holes were measured and marked for custom made rods and drapes. He charges by the hour and moves very, very slow. He didn't have his own step ladder or anchor screws. In the first hour, he managed to put in 3 screws in holes that had already been marked. He claimed he "needed to remeasure" and that's why it took so long, but he used the holes that I had already marked. He also said it was too hard to do with custom cut rods. He also said it wasn't his fault because I had an anchor screw stuck in the wall already, which was the whole reason I hired him. This is what pros do: they come prepared, know the required materials and techniques, and advise the customer on the best way to proceed. I knew we needed to cut it off when he asked me how to use an anchor screw. He didn't know if you needed to pre-drill or not for a very basic and common anchor. I cannot imagine a professional handyman not knowing that. He used a level to stare at the pre-marked holes for what seemed like an eternity, just eating up time. 3 screws = $200. Seems like a nice enough man, but handyman may not be the profession for him, and that's giving him the benefit of the doubt that he wasn't just trying to take advantage of someone he assumed was too naive too know how long the job should take. He became very defensive, making excuses when I said we'd need to end the job at one hour. Im sure judging by other less than 5 star reviews here (that I really wish I'd have taken the time to read) he will post a very defensive response here as well. Please just don't take a job you don't have the required expertise to complete, and I don't want to hear defensive excuses when I'm still out $200 for almost no work completed.

He hung 4 of my tv's (a 65 in, two 55 in, and a 32in) and hid my wires threw the drywall for a very reasonable price. He has tv mounts for good prices and HDMI cords for a low price. They had our tv up in very little time and left zero mess (they even wiped it down to prevent leaving fingerprints after). They were also by far the least expensive I found.
