We hired Francis in order to replace our existing security system with a new one and install camera doorbells. I spoke with Francis on the phone and over text many times because I wanted to make sure we got the proper cameras. He was extremely helpful, giving me some options he had worked with before as well as answering all of my questions about the type of camera we would need for each location. He sent me updated quotes with my preferences, and we were able to negotiate a fair price and a date for the install. He was very patient throughout the whole process before the installation. On the day of the service, he let me know that he was on his way and arrived on time. he worked until late night to ensure that everything was set up correctly. He answered any questions I had during the install and showed me exactly what he was doing. At the end of the day, we went through each camera and he adjusted them all to my liking. Warranty Issues I practiced law for nearly 20 years and this is my opinion. I had a warranty with Francis concerning faulty security camera equipment. The warranty required Francis to fully cover the cost of replacement and repair. I believe any good contractor would know this and honor it. I had to pay for the repairs up front and was supposed to be reimbursed once the warranty was determined to be valid. After the warranty was found to be valid, Francis did not want to fully cover the costs. This dispute went on for over two months after he replaced the equipment. In the end he finally agreed to honor the warranty but it was an extremely stressful thing to go through. In fact, it was one of the worst experiences that I have ever had with a contractor and I would not recommend him to anyone. read more

Being a network engineer and cloud architect, I've always wanted a home with multiple network drops and a network cabinet so I can setup servers and have a clean networking setup at home. Purchased a home about two months ago and first thing I did was look around for folks who could do network drops. Found Francis here on yelp and had him come out to do a quick walk around and show him the locations I wanted drops. Ended up asking to upgrade to CAT6A and Francis had no problem accommodating it. Day of the install, Francis and Raul showed up and did approximately 8-10 CAT6A drops and as a bonus helped hang up my network cabinet and install my devices in the rack + install the access points. Job was well done, cleaned up after themselves and also made sure everything was working before leaving. Would recommend for anyone looking to get network drops/wifi setup etc.. I've never written reviews on Yelp, because honestly the vast majority of services are just getting the bare minimum of what you pay for. Felt absolutely compelled to come on here and write about what Francis and his team did. Background: We had a builder do our home and recommended an AV company they thought was very good. The home was coming along great and ended up a great product so we had no reason to doubt the opinion. Far from the case, have come to learn that many home builders spend absolutely no time or thought into the AV setup for the house. Despite paying for Gig speeds through Verizon and a lot of money on our home setup, many things were failing and our internet speeds were slow even when hardwired in. Fast Forward: We used Yelp and put out a request for help to come in and fix a lot of what we thought was not working correctly. Some got back to us, most didn't, another came out for the estimate and then never sent it to us. Francis at El-Elyon responded back quickly, came out for an estimate, and when he heard our network troubles installed a our new router that had been sitting in a box for awhile and asked if he could reconfigure the network that evening, and did it. He found multiple issues with the initial "professional" installation, and had us running near a Gig while plugged in and about 300-500 mbps on wireless the same night, before we even got to the other pain points and upgrades we reached out for. He provided a quote for all of the equipment and the labor. When we asked to buy the equipment ourselves, he sent links to every item in an email and asked to let him know when everything was ready to install. We purchased it all, and he was there within two days once the last item came in. On top of that, he spent three days at our house because he had to fix a lot of what the normal AV folks do around this area, get it wrong. He got it right, and spent until late on a Friday night and then the next Saturday morning working on it. Him, his team, and every aspect of their service was spot on. They encountered problems, and could tell they felt compelled to figure them out, because they actually care about providing amazing service. Our entire house is now upgraded with what should have been done before, but also upgrades with an outside TV and speakers that we wanted. All of that was done at half the cost of what we paid the first go around when it was built. AV work is expensive, but I can tell you this was worth every single penny. If I haven't said enough already, my young daughter is going to miss Francis coming to the house, she talks about him all the time. Well done, well priced, and if you are looking to do any AV work around the home, I can't fathom a reason to not go with Francis and his team. Very impressed and going to recommend to all our neighbors and new builds in the area. read more
