This is a fantastic place to have onion rings and their parmesan crusted bread for their chicken bacon avocado sandwich is a reason to stop by. Farmer boys have the best salads. I have tried all of them and they are all sensational. The bbq chicken one is my all time favorite. Overall this place makes all their food fresh to order and they have a great customer service, clean restaurant and clean restrooms. I had it on over there and ordered what I always order which is the barbecue ranch chicken salad sub the grilled chicken for fried chicken and it's perfect every single time. Literally the best "fast food" salad you can find in my opinion. As far as service goes, I was greeted right away. My order was taken right away. The person who took my order was friendly and accurate. I waited almost no time at all for my salad to come out and it was just as good as ever. What the Heck? When was the Farmer Boys menu changed? Grant it I hadn't visited in several years but what a huge decline and dissatisfaction. 1. Patti Melt: Tasteless "beer"? Patties that looked like thin rubber, topped with fake melted cheese on sourdough bread, not rye. 2. Onion Rings: The rings were 1-2" thick and the batter fell off the ring. I have never seen worse anywhere. 3. Chocolate milk shake was good BUT, took 18 minutes to be brought out after I'd eaten a good part of the previous disgusting food. I ended up throwing out 1/2 the Patti Melt and a majority of the OIL rings. Total waste of $20 hard earned dollars. NEVER EVER AGAIN read more

Stopped by for lunch on the recommendation of my mom. I'd never had anything from Farmer Boys so I decided to let my stomach lead the way and went with the Fiery Fried Chicken Sandwich combo, which comes with fries and a drink. I also ordered a small cheeseburger on the side because I couldn't resist trying one of their burgers. The chicken sandwich comes on a brioche bun with their Fiery Farmer's Sauce and dill pickles. The chicken breast wasn't quite as big as it appears in their marketing photos but it was breaded nicely and incredibly juicy. It was also made fresh to order so it was very hot. The fiery sauce had good flavor and was definitely spicy, not too overpowering but not weak and tame either. Farmer Boy's fries are really delicious. They're super crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. There appears to be only one size for a side of fries and if you're a bigger eater one bag may not be enough (I do wish you could order different sizes) but between the sandwich and the fries I had barely enough room for the burger. I liked the cheeseburger. There wasn't much to it -- American Cheese, Thousand Island, pickles, and chopped onions -- but it was satisfying in its simplicity and the burger patty had a good grilled flavor and was juicy. Condiments are available so I added some ketchup and mustard. Farmer Boys is really affordable. My total was $14 and some change for the combo and burger on the side, and I liked that the food is made fresh once you put in your order. It takes just a little longer than a traditional fast food place (you order at the counter and seat yourself), but it's worth it. Very good food and nice people. There's a ton of stuff on the menu including all-day breakfast so there's a lot to come back and try. Looking forward to it the next time I'm passing through on the way to visit family. read more

Came in with a group of guys and had mixed feelings about the inside as it looks like a mix between a fast food chain and nice dining restaurant but was definitely surprised by the quality of food and service.
