    Chicken poppyseed salad.

Once again- I'm back and everything is fabulous. Food good. Staff friendly. Restaurant clean.

The nice thing about Panera Bread is that they offer good healthy food for reasonable prices. However, this particular location turned out to be somewhat disappointing. When I arrived there was a sign posted on the door saying that they were out of bread and all bakery items. As it turned out they said they did have some white bread, so I was able to order a "U Pick 2" with a sandwich and salad. It was dinner time on a weeknight, and the place was basically deserted and not well staffed. This location is out at the end of the parking lot of a shopping mall, so there is plenty of parking.

Mexican Street Corn Chowder & Turkey Avocado BLT.

Finally sat inside to eat lunch. I started it with their New Mexican Street Corn Chowder, wow this was really good, hot and creamy with plenty of corn served with a baguette. I also ordered a Turkey Avocado BLT sandwich. I added red onions, spinach, Gouda Cheese with Spicy Mustard and Garlic Aioli (couldn't taste it). Bread is soft with the best crust. Plenty of seating inside.

Great service. The best of all local Paneras with regards to menu accuracy. Cafe is a bit loud, but the noise is tolerable.

Quick drive through visit so this review is based on drive thru only. Person took my order tuna sandwich and ten vegetable soup. This is a special they offer for $5.99. Very good price for a decent meal that is filling. They never asked if I wanted a drink. Did ask for my phone number for rewards and that was a good thing but distracted me from the drink do I ended up with none. Quick service as I waited less than five minutes after my order was placed and I was already leaving the drive thru with my food. The bread as you can see in the photos was a large piece(yay) but had huge holes in it! Probably better for me as I don't need the extra carbs anyways.. lol Sandwich had A LOT of lettuce. Too much for my personal opinion. I took some off and it was all good. Speed in drive thru: 10 Quality of food: 9 Customer service: 7 Value : 10 ( only because I got the special as in general Panera can be little tad bit pricey for fast food in comparison to the others) Overall score :9 I give two points for each star so this is a 4 1/2 star review for Panera drive through. However, Yelp doesn't give half stars so I have to go with the 4 stars as it didn't make the cut for 5 stars.

Decided to stop by for my usual tea and went inside to pay. Got my free monthly drink and paid for another one. Grabbed my cups and all the lemonades were not in there dispensers but in plastic tubs just sitting in the counter with no lids. Had to go to the back counter and ask for help. She filled one of my cups up in the back and then proceeded to come to see if there were lemonades and saw the plastic containers. She grabbed a plastic cup dipped it into the container that had no lid and pours it Into my cup. Seriously? Has all food safety handling gone out the door? All these girls making food with their hair not contained with hair nets. Y'all that monthly lemonade pass is being unsubscribed too. Yall nasty.

    Strawberry chicken poppyseed perfection!

This is the slowest Panera on the face of the planet. They are never busy and it takes forever to get your order.

Food came out quickly, especially for considering that every table was full in that place. I ordered the vermicelli bowl #20 with shrimp pork and chicken. I enjoyed the pork the most, there wasn't much chicken, but there was a lot of lettuce. I added all of the sauce given for my noodles, but even after that they still tasted dry. I really wish it was better, but it was just ok food.

The bottom level had some tables that were put together to make a large table and maybe 3 other tables. They asked if we wanted to sit upstairs and I said it was fine and up there there was about four tables. I was ready to give this place 5 stars, but I did take a star off first service. When we were sat and asked what we wanted to drink and I started with my drink first and then I ordered for my daughters, the waitress asked me again what I wanted and I was confused. I told her again and then she went on her way. When it came to ordering, I asked for the chicken wing appetizer, pork chow fun and a large #1 pho with two small bowls, so that we could share. After I ordered, she asked me what size pho I wanted. Our drinks arrived, but my 10-year-olds drink was a lot larger than the other drinks we had ordered, which we weren't expecting. The chicken wings came first. We ordered them mild and I will tell you, those were some of the best chicken wings I've ever had...the sauce is sweet, the wings are crisp, but still moist. Definitely will go back and try this in a medium level. The pork chow fun looked a little bit different than what I was used to, but it tasted pretty good. It came with cabbage, broccoli, cilantro and a few other vegetables. The pho came out and the broth smelled really good and I started adding my sauces, but then realize that we did not receive a plate with any of the vegetables. Being seated upstairs, it's really hard to get the attention of your server who is downstairs. When she finally came upstairs, I told her we did not receive any of the vegetables and she went down and brought us a plate that had 3 slices of jalapeno, a pile of bean sprouts and one lime for the 3 of us. No basil whatsoever. At that point I didn't want to ask for anything else, so I let it go. A different server came upstairs and told us to take our time and had placed the bill on the table and I asked for some to go containers, she brought it promptly and then the other server had come and asked if we needed boxes when the boxes and the bag were already sitting on the corner of the table. We will definitely go back in give it another go and hopefully the service is a little bit better because I would love to give this place a 5 star review.

I never was interested in going there for years since it's been there but decided to try it tonight. Firstly, the ramen place holds maybe 40 at most and we had to wait a while before we were seated. They asked if we had a reservation but didn't think that it would be needed since it's not like a fancy restaurant and I don't know many ramen places that takes reservations. Since we didn't , we got seated on the bar which is fine. For it being in Modesto, they try to get the anime vibe with toys and anime art around. I'm no ramen expert but I've tried over a dozen ramen places in Tokyo, Vancouver, Japan town in LA, San Francisco, Oahu, Seattle just to name a few cities. So we got first the spicy garlic edamame. Not bad at all, had a kick to it and was edible. From a scale of 1 to 5. I'd give it a 5. For the main entree, I wanted the garlic tonkatsu but the waitress said they ran out.... Ok, for a Saturday night at 6 pm, running out of a ramen and they've been in business for several years now?!? never had that happen before in any ramen shop I've been to. So me and my wife both got the Ichiraku ramen which was a miso broth with pork belly. Price $23. I added 2 more pork belly at $5 more. Oh, the waitress mentioned no bamboo shoots and no fish cake........ ok, never had that happen before in a ramen shop. So while eating edamame, I kept track of how long it took we got our ramen.... It took 30 minutes before we got our ramen... definitely atypical to wait that long wait but I guess it's because they offer a lot of items besides ramen. Presentation was fine, the pork belly was seared on one side with a blow torch since I can taste that searing. . It just had green onions, 2 seaweeds and 2 soft boiled eggs which I was impressed the yolk wasn't overcooked. The noodles I chose was thin and was good with a soft texture. The miso broth was average Over all, it was an okay ramen. Me and my wife both didn't finish our bowls... definitely unusual since we love ramen but somehow, it didn't fulfill our satiety to finish and be content. I can tell you that of all the ramen places I've been to. This is average and doesn't compare to Ramen 101 in Modesto that I've ordered many times before my first time here. Sadly, I can only give it 3 stars because the ramen was average and not in the same league as other ramens I've had in other places and cities. And if me and my wife couldn't finish our ramen, that's a tell tale sign it was just okay. Plus, the place is called Konfucius Eats, doesn't have a Japanese name for a restaurant since "Confucius " is a Chinese Philosopher lol. In fact, I didn't see any Japanese or Asian cooks... just saying that's atypical to the other ramen establishments I've been to. For Modesto, it's aight. I just can't see myself going back here for a long time. Lastly, they are open Tuesday to Saturday only .
