FWIW, that was great. Pita was soft on the inside and had a good crisp on the outside. Good meat, condiment (tomato/onion) and sauce ratio. Each bite was consistent. Never had a bite with just condiments in it. $13, I would expect maybe a little more meat. It's fast, casual, but I feel like you get a similar experience for cheaper at a food truck or a hole in the wall, and possible with more meat. That being said, you don't always have those options especially in Modesto. I would stop here again,

Based on the picture I was a little concerned about all the sauce, but no need to fear because the flavors came together beautifully. Good sized serving, I had to take almost half mine to go.

I ordered the chicken gyro and when I came to pick up my order one of the gentleman up front offered me an extra beef gyro to try! It really made my day. Thank you so much whoever did that for me. My wife had been wanting to go. I admit that I had been a bit weary as it was something new but I was pleasantly surprised! We had the Greek fires, chicken gyro and the steak Mediterranean bowl! The Mediterranean bowl is the best thing I've ever had... probably ever. I can never decide between chicken gyro or falafel, so my happy place is just doing both. The workers are always SO NICE, and I'm only assuming the owner because I see him there every time whether it's night or day, but he is also really kind. My kids love the food as well and he was so nice to them. It's so nice they have the outdoor area and it's very clean and bright inside the main dining area.

This place is currently having a special on Instacart you get buy one get one free on these gyro bowls! Dinner for two for $15 is an amazing value! The food is exactly what you would expect, typical gyro meat, simple and delicious! The dressing that comes with it for the salad is traditional and is the perfect combination. I ordered to go for pick up so no ridiculous delivery fees for us! Service consisted of handing me my bag and a smile. Again typical of what you should expect. Ambiance is stand as it is a franchise business and they all have similar decor. This is our second time eating here this week! Short drive from our home and we welcomed this new restaurant as there is currently nothing similar within ten miles of our home. Give them a try! read more

Great spot for a quick bite!! Food was delicious we had the Chicken Gyro Bowl which was super flavorful and a decent size! Also had the Spanakopita which was oh so good!!! Looks like it is new on the menu... hopefully they keep it!! Baklava is a little too sweet for me... but very good flavors. Staff were all welcoming and helpful in deciding what to order. Restaurant (and restrooms) were very clean. Plenty of parking - with a Tesla charging station close by. Would I go back? Yes! read more

really enjoyed this! Very clean. Nice employee. Ordered falafel sandwich. It was very good. My only complaint is.. it didn't come with hummus. you can buy about a 2 tbs size in a little plastic container for $1.50 if you like. Decided to try out Nick the Greek after moving to Riverbank and I was not disappointed. First of all it is well lit and super clean. I have visited this location 6 times now and have been greeted with a smile every time. I ordered the protein plate and get the chicken with rice and it is seasoned to perfection. Im not a fan of onions so when you get that delicious salad with fresh tomatoes be sure to say no onions. If you happen to be a fan of onions then these purple beauties are for for you. If the dinner doesn't get you the creamy tangy greek yogurt froyo will. The froyo comes plain, with honey or with creamy dubai chocolate. I prefer the honey but both are amazing. Service: The worker at the register was not too friendly. The worker from the kitchen was friendly. Food: The food was fine. It wasn't a mind blowing dish, whatsoever, but it also wasn't awful. Portion sizes were very small, but the price of the meal was quite high. Ambiance: The restaurant was clean, organized, and had a good vibe throughout. There was a nice nook in the corner of the store that was nice to sit at. Overall: I probably wouldn't return to this establishment in the future. Other Points: The establishment was accessible for those in a wheelchair. They also had options for those who are vegetarian. read more

Tried Nick the Greek for the first time because I was close, and had heard they were good. I ordered online for pickup, but found the pickup process to be confusing. I went to the window to get my order, but discovered that I had to go inside because I had ordered a drink. The customer has to get their own beverage from the machine inside. I found this to be an unexpected hassle and took extra time to get my food. The restaurant appeared very clean, but I was the only person in there at the time. Otherwise, the gyro I had was good, but the fries got a bit soggy by the time I got home. I'll try to go back when I have time to eat in the restaurant, because I'd like to try some of the other items on the menu. read more

The Mrs. and I decided to try this place out today as I really like Gyros. Whoaaaa....was super impressed with the quality, taste, and portion size of the food. We split a gyro and super fries and it was more than enough to leave you feeling full without feeling all gross. They have a bunch of options and the fast/casual concept works well with time and family. Awesome spot. read more

We tried this place for the first time today and we absolutely loved it! My husband had the Pork Belly Gyro and I had the Gyro plate and the food was soo good. Service was amazing and everyone was so polite and friendly. The restaurant is clean and looks nice inside. Definitely worth to try it, you won't be disappointed. read more

The owner was a one-man show, hustling hard during a busy lunch rush, juggling takeout orders like a pro. Despite being slammed, he was incredibly kind and made sure everyone was taken care of. You can tell he takes pride in what he does. I also loved the unassuming storefront and the décor inside--lots of pride shown for our country and local law enforcement, with flags and service patches displayed throughout. It gave the place real character. Yes, we had to wait--but it was absolutely worth it. I can see exactly why this spot has such a strong Yelp rating. Bonus points for the solid daily specials too. It honestly seems like the experience depends on who is working in the kitchen. When the woman owner is there, everything is amazing. When she isn't, the quality and attention to orders seems to drop a lot. This location is on the small side but it had an adequate amount of tables for patrons. The bathrooms and the entire establishment is very clean.
