This place is really good food and the very best part is that it's open 24 seven I personally recommend that they have the best Asada fries.

Me and my bf stopped to eat there for the first time today! Honestly wasn't too excited about it because of the location in Modesto, but so glad we stopped to eat there! When I first walked in I was just in wow how cute and cozy the place was but even more so, how clean, neat and organized everything was! You can tell this place takes pride in their work! I been to other places where they leave the lobby a complete mess in between customers, but the way this place was you can't tell they are keeping up with down time! Their menu is so huge and have daily specials! I got the menudo special today! I absolutely loved it! Even what my bf got was really good! Everything was so fresh and soo delicious. Ordered 2 kids meal assumed they came with drinks because it's posted on the menu "includes small drink". After girl gives us our food I ask for the kids' drink she says "they no longer come with drinks. Only combos come with drinks." Could have said that when I was ordering..as I'm clean our trash up she comes to give us 2 fountain drinks. I'm sorry why would I want the drinks as we are leaving? Spent over $50. Still in the COVID season, so it's drive -thru only. The menu's immense, for the first time drive through guy (me) it was a challenge. The man taking the orders was patient and polite. The young man at the service window was also. We received our food in no time at all and the order was correct. The food was okay, lived on the Central Coast my whole life. I say that to say I'm not a stranger to all things Hispanic most of all the food. The breakfast burrito was a meal but lacked anything special. Egg chorizo potato and cheese. Simple enough, not greasy.The beef and chicken hard tacos were stuffed, the chicken rolled tacos with guacamole and cheese were all good but not memorable. I never write reviews, but I have to warn people because it's THAT bad here. Don't waste your time and money here. I always try to give this place a chance, because it's close and has drive thru but it's not worth it. They charged me $14.14 for a regular burrito without meat and, I had to speak to 2 different people to get rice and beans in it. They were trying to be smart and only put pico and "guac" in it. Nothing else. They acted like it was such an inconvenience just because I didn't want meat in it. I asked for it to be cut in half and it was not. The workers are rude and when you say thank you, they don't say anything back. The guacamole doesn't even taste like it has avocado in it. It tastes like green salsa. The tortilla was raw and not even grilled??? As if they weren't rude enough at the speaker, they were sarcastic at the window and made a smirk at me even though I was nice the whole time (bc i also work in food) and politely making a normal request. They literally have a veg burrito on their menu and still acted like they had no clue what i was asking for. They treat their customers like a joke and it's no wonder theres never a line. Overall horrible experience. You're better off going to taco bell over this place and thats saying a lot. read more

Omggg every time I come here they're SOOO yummy seriously . I work graveyard nearby and I've gotten the breakfast burritos during my "lunch", which is convenient being 24 hours and they're always fresh and big fulfilling portions . I can never finish it all lol . The other day I tried their normal street tacos and the asada & chicken were *chefs kiss . Again the portions ... they aren't shy lol . I'm obsessed with the tacos now . To top off the 5 star , the guy ringing me up is always so kind to me in the drive thru too !! Don't be fooled by the divey exterior. Inside is clean, if minimal, and the food is terrific. They do the most perfect carnitas, right down to the crunchy caramelized bits. Serving sizes are generous, service is pleasant. If you go order inside the restaurant, there is a chips and salsa bar. I have gotten "dinner" items there at breakfast time, so yay for being open 24 hours. read more

Tried this place twice now and my favorite is their shredded chicken taco. The shredded beef was good too. They had good salsa options in their chip and salsa bar. I'm glad they have a Taco Tuesday special so we will definitely return. Service was good, there was plenty of parking. The place is roomy and could hold a good crowd. Haven't tried the drive through but that will be next. Definitely my new go to place in Modesto. read more

I don't mean to exaggerate but it's a soggy torta with the skinniest one slice of carne asada flat down with yellow processed cheese on top with lettuce. I feel compelled to write a review. Let me start off by saying that I usually love this place. I go there at least once a week and order the same thing, bacon breakfast burritos and chicken chimichongas, and they are always good (until today).I ordered 2 bacon breakfast burritos for my wife and I. She was busy so she didn't eat hers just yet, but I sat down to enjoy mine. First bite, no bacon. Second bite, NO BACON. Third, fourth, and fifth bite NO BACON. I'm like what the @&#*. I say to myself, maybe they messed up and put all the bacon in my wife's burrito... NOT! Her burrito was baconless also. If they would've informed me that they were out of bacon,I would've gotten sausage or chorizo. Needless to say, they lost a customer that spends $50 every time I go through the drive thru. Looks like the left over dry meat from another customers plate too be honest. Been here three times and hasn't been good. The food taste very bland like it's missing salt or some type of seasoning. Order a burrito instead and half way through the girl let's me know they've made it incorrect and if I'll just take it as is. Was actually kind of surprised this place wasn't too bad for a drive thru mexican restaurant. We ordered lingua (tongue) taco combo, which my boyfriend really liked. I had the chicken quesadilla, which came with loads of chicken and cheddar cheese, side of rice and beans. I would of liked it a little better if it had some Monterey jack or mozzarella mixed with the cheddar. Still was very good - Just added their green salsa to the inside. We also ordered the beef rolled tacos /taquitos with quacamole and cheese.. these too were very good. The last thing was an asada combo burrito. Not sure how that was as it was for someone else. Looked good though. Overall very pleased. Customer service was great. They all were very helpful and friendy. I sure hope to see it stay this way. read more

I ordered the beef rolled tacos with rice and beans on the side and a horchata. This was my first time here as I live close by and thought I'd try it out, the rolled "tacos" were skinny taquitos, super hard there wasn't much beef in it at all and it was super dry, the meat was crunchy towards the ends.. the frozen taquitos from the store are better than these.. tried to cover up the taste with the guacamole and it was bland and no Taste or flavor, needed salt and a lot of work. The rice was really dry and bland. The horchata did not taste like they make it there it didn't taste fresh it was not good. The only edible thing on the dish was the beans.. My first and last time there I would not go back, they can't even get the basics of Mexican food right. read more

Pretty much another Maria's taco shop style of Mexican food but this place is better. The chicken fajitas plate was pretty good as well as the rolled tacos(beef). Their crunchy tacos are extremely good. They will eventually be open 24 hours when everyone gets trained they told us, right now they are open until 1am. read more

By far the pastor tacos are my favorite thing that I have ordered here so far. They have a cool bar set up with beers on tap. Unfortunately when I went with my wife the taps weren't operational yet.
