Fiesta Taco salad $17, Bell Peppers and Onions upcharge $6
    Stan M.

Gave them one more shot for a taco salad... and they blew it again. You'd think a taco salad would be a simple win, but nope. I asked for grilled chicken and got stewed chicken with absolutely zero flavor. They said it came with guacamole and sour cream--neither were anywhere to be found. The "salad" was basically lettuce, pico, and whole beans with a super tiny portion overall. I added bell peppers and onions, maybe five pieces total, and they hit me with a $6 upcharge. Would've been nice to know that before so I could've said no thanks. Final price for this subpar salad? $25. I actually had to go back just to show them. The bar manager, Hamad (spelling), tried to help by adding more chicken and then told me the sour cream and guac were "under the shell." Really? Who hides condiments under the shell? Total waste of time and money. I'm done. No more chances.

    Beef Taquito

Great traditional Mexican food. This place never disappoints. I started with the whiskey smash, which was a refreshing variation of almost a margarita. The complimentary chips along with their salsa and beans paired amazingly well. I proceeded to get the choose three build your own combo with a beef taquito(pictured), green chicken enchilada, and a chicken burrito. The beef taquito was first of all huge, the biggest one that I have ever seen. It came with plenty of toppings including guacamole, sour cream, cheese, cabbage, and tomatoes. The burrito was decent, definetely could have used at least some more salsa, ended up being a filler on my plate. I saved the best for last, the classic enchilada was smothered in a delicious salsa that I dipped my other two items into. If you want to try out different things and get a good amount of food for your money, you can't go wrong with the build your own combo, especially from this establishment. Apart from the food, the service exceeded my expectations and it is perfect for your next casual dining experience.

Chips and salsa and bean dip Ruby, margarita and side tequila shot

Yum yum on the food, drinks and super yum on the chips and salsa. What a beautiful restaurant too with all its decorative touches and lots of seating inside! The restaurant is easy to locate and there is plenty of safe, free and well lit parking. Now when you come inside be prepared to smell all the wonderful and freshly prepared food waiting for you to order it. I hardly waited any time at all until my food came right out of the kitchen while being carried by Ms. Sairel with a beautiful smile. From the moment I walked in, I was directly seated and served chips, salsa and this delicious bean dip. I also indulged and ordered a ruby margarita with a side shot. The margarita was perfectly mixed with this pomegranate and lime flavor that is making my mouth water as I am writing this review. The extra shot was just because who doesn't deserve an occasional side shot during dinner? I ordered the shrimp - mojo de ajo and it was so garlic and buttery, again, my mouth is watering right now.....I don't know why; because I walked away MORE THAN full and grateful for this delicious meal, served by a kind and good human while sitting in a beautiful restaurant listening to some great music. God is good and I have a new place to stop in to have an amazing meal.

    Carne con chile

Came here during the weekend for some dinner. Parking lot was empty. We sat in the bar. Not really packed or anything but they had a few tables that were watching the sports game that was on. Seating in the bar was standard with high tops. Not sure what his name is but he's worked there for years behind the bar. Great customer service but man was he busy. He was the only worker on the bar side taking orders, making drinks, checking up on tables, etc. Him alone I give a 10/10. But unfortunately because he was pretty busy, it did take a while to get our actual food orders in (he took our drinks orders soon after we got there). When we needed a refill, he was too busy to notice us which i commend him for his great customer service and efforts. However a couple of times we had to walk over to the bar to make a request. The food was good. It usually is although I always get the carne con Chile and the sauce was a little off this time, but still good. Overall, the service was amazing, prices were fair. I love their happy hour specials. But they definitely need more staff. If I was in a tighter schedule I definitely would not come to this restaurant.

Fajitas not like I'm used too

Food was mediocre I feel like they just make up recepies because the fajitas were not to the quality I'm accustomed too. Chewy hard tough not to mention overly salty as the meat sits atop a puddle of soy sauce! The rice was hard and dry and the beans were just beans!! My poor son who's a student spent $50 to treat his mother to crappy crappy inauthentic Mexican food! We will never go again.

4 asada tacos (guacamole & crema added)

Our food was hot and the service was quite good as well. We were satisfied with our experience.

    Happy Hour appetizers!

Ordered and paid for 12 tacos with beans and rice. Gave me 2 bags and I left thinking it was all there. Got home and only had 6 tacos!

The food is nasty and the service is terrible. I won't be back ever again. Whoever owns this place needs to find new staff.

    Do they have live mariachis?

No they don't. That's a fun idea though, especially for the location that has outdoor seating in Ceres.

Worth it! Walked into a very quiet, but colorful restaurant with only one other patron inside. The employees were so nice. We were told to pick anywhere, we were brought menus and instantly asked if we'd like anything to drink or if we wanted to look at the menu first... We asked for suggestions and the waitress offered the types of drinks they have. She brought us chips and salsa. The chips were homemade with a perfect crunch. The salsa was fresh, chunky and not spicy. The pepino cone limo aqua Fresca was the best aqua Fresca I've EVER had. Not too sweet at all and was SO REFRESHING. We also ordered an horchata and I was told that was just as good. The food... Where to start. We ordered an empanada and some quedabirria tacos. The empanada was HUGE, deliciously filling with fresh ingredients. It had great flavor. The quesabirria tacos were probably the best we've had. You order the amount you want. They are 5.99 each and oh so delicious. The meat tasted SO FRESH and flavorful. The creamy jalapeño salsa had a NICE kick to it. All meals come with radish and pickled onions as garnish, but eating them with the meal made it even more refreshing and delicious. They need more than one location, but until then we will be back! (Luckily, I heard they do catering.)

My only real recommendation is to avoid sitting in the bar area if you're in a hurry. Service there tends to move a lot slower, so it can take a while to get your order in and get your food. The restaurant itself is a little run down, and the bathrooms could definitely use some attention, but the bar and outside area is decorated nicely and has a good atmosphere overall. All in all, it's a great local spot and one I keep going back to.

Instead of trying to resolve the situation or make it right, the manager, Noah, became argumentative and tried to debate what had been said rather than listen to the customer. After waiting that long, the last thing anyone expects is to feel like they have to argue just to be heard. What made it more disappointing was the lack of willingness to fix the issue or offer a solution. We came in hoping for a good meal and left feeling frustrated and unheard. It's sad because good service could have easily turned this into a positive experience. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. At the end of it he realized and came back and finally apologized.
