Starting off with the girl at the front, she was Amazing. So sweet and kind and immediately welcoming! She did a good job explaining anything that may be different from other restaurants, and knows the menu so well. The food was so good. The table was completely silent inhaling the food as it was brought out. Our food was brought down less than 5 minutes after sitting down, and it was hot and fresh. The guacamole is delicious and their chips are really good too. Definitely some of the best mexican food i've found around here recently. The dining area is kind of small, but it wasn't too crowded and felt very homey. We got the crispy tacos plate (asada) and the taco salad (asada). The beans and rice are so amazing, and don't be afraid to ask for a slight change to the item! She was SO accommodating and made extra sure that what we asked for was done. We stopped a few miles away to charge and saw that this place had really good reviews. We were starving so we got a chili relleno dinner, a cheese enchilada dinner and 2 orders of vegetarian nachos. They gave complimentary waters w lids and they were big which we really appreciated. The young guy working the counter was very helpful and friendly. Customer service was okay. The place, although small, has a nice vibe to it. My food was decent. My child didn't want to eat her shrimp she usually loves shrimp. It tasted like a chemical. My brother tried it and said the same. I tried to have a normal convo with the owner about it and told him I'm not looking to get a refund, just a heads in case another customer orders the same thing, the shrimp has a funky taste. Without responding, he went to the back, came back after a few minutes and told me it's the tomatoes. And I understand, this is how he pays his bills and someone is giving him what he perceives as a negative comment when I see it as constructive criticism. If he truly believes that tomatoes caused that chemical taste, there's nothing further to discuss. I respectfully said ok, thanks for everything said goodbye and left. It's quite impressive to me that they cut up the pork in bite size pieces. The flavor was totally on point! They provide you an array of garnishes. I have tried lots of their dishes and I've never been disappointed! It's a family owned restaurant not a chain, one where the family is always respectable and kind to the customers! My wife and I came here for lunch on a rainy day. We opted to buy from the all day breakfast menu. The food was delicious! We got the huevos rancheros and the Mexican sausage/egg/potatoes plates. The flavors were good, and the side touches were quite nice. The refried beans were puréed giving them an especially creamy texture, and the tortilla chips were cooked just right. The service was also excellent. Even though you order at the counter, we were greeted with a smile and personal service. Happy to try out a new local Mexican restaurant. I had the huevos con chorizo breakfast burrito with coffee, my wife had the pozole, we both had agua fresca's also. The burrito was great, perfect egg to chorizo ratio , it also had refried beans and cheese in it. My wife enjoyed the pozole, the pork was tender and had good flavor. The coffee was served a little different. I was given a paper cup of hot water, with a small container of instant coffee and sugar on the side.
