Even though they were busy, the waitress was very efficient and provided great service. My hubby had the carne asada platter with corn tortillas, and I ordered a chile relleno alacarte and a sopa with grilled chicken alacarte . My sopa was a little too crunchy (the masa base) but the flavors were good. I asked for green sauce, and it was more like a creamy white sauce, but still ok. We had a favorite Mexican restaurant that we went to in our hometown, the next city over, but since it shut down a year ago, we might make this our new go to place.

To start, they brought out a basket of warm corn and flour tortilla chips with salsa, refried beans, and cabbage. Everything was fresh and flavorful -- a perfect way to kick off the meal. I ordered the Caldo de Res soup, and it did not disappoint. The broth came out steaming hot, rich, and full of flavor. It was loaded with tender beef, corn on the cob, potatoes, and carrots, with rice, onions, cilantro, lime, hot sauce, and tortillas on the side to build it just how you like. Each bite was hearty, comforting, and delicious. The restaurant has TVs showing sports and even a full bar in the back, which makes it a great spot to hang out as well as grab a meal. My server was attentive and polite, checking in to make sure I didn't need anything throughout the meal. Overall, great food, generous portions, and excellent service. I'll definitely be back for more.

I went with some girlfriends on a Friday night a few months and service was not as great as usual. I went back a couple go Saturdays back for the unlimited mimosas and margaritas and apparently they don't do that anymore but still had the advertisement on the window. Bummer. Then I ordered a mimosa but they didn't have champágne. I ordered a margarita but they didn't have the mix. Then we asked for cabbage for our chips. They didn't have. We said we would think about what drinks to order since they didn't have what we originally wanted and they gave us our food but never came back to ask about drinks. I was really bummed with the service and lack of food supply. I'm not sure what was going On, but I hope it gets better or back to normal.

There is a salsa bar with a good selection of staple salsas, and every other month they have a really hot red sauce that my friend loves to eat! (I won't touch it - too hot for me!) They have another taqueria and the crew switches back-and-forth between both of them. I find that sometimes the flavor is a little bit better, depending on who is working. But I always look forward to coming here!

Casual sitdown restaurant with colorful and festive decor. Highly recommend.

The drinks are strong and tasty (the neon flowers, I could do without). The Nachos were kinda weird--the beans are spread across the bottom, then chips and toppings. They desperately need a sprinkle of cilantro for appearances and flavor. It felt like a small portion for the price. It was nice a cool outside on the day of my visit, but it was warm and still inside; they needed to turn on one of the many ceiling fans. Service was stellar though! Everyone did a great job!

I've been to this place a few times and always left dissatisfied…read more The menus are literally falling apart and just have a dirty, nasty feel to them. The food is just okay. Barely okay to be honest. It really feels like a bar that happens to sell food to people who are too inebriated to know if it's good or not. The burnt end tacos.... No! Blueberries and barbecue sauce... No!!! I'm really not trying to be mean. They have decent live music and the atmosphere seems to be cool, but the food is seriously lacking in my opinion, be it fish and chips, burgers, salad... It's for somebody I'm sure, but it's not for me. Also, "wagyu" has 2 different spellings on their menu. I think that's something small that can be corrected rather quickly.

The tacos here are great, the asada was well grilled and the salad goes perfect with the cilantro and onion. I'm not a big fan of Spanish rice so I thought it was okay. The beans were good but were not my favorite. I have returned since this first visit and have only bought the tacos which have not disappointed so far. It's safe to say I will be returning as often as I can to get some more tacos. I give the tacos a 5/5. The tostada de ceviche was good but it needed more lemon/lime. There's lime in the refrigerator where you can help yourself so I added some to my liking. I give the tostada a 3/5. We also had a giant quesadilla which came with guacamole and sour cream. It was pretty big! The quesadilla gets a 4.5/5. Rated by my boyfriend who actually ate it. Lastly, we had some Mexican sodas: sprite and coke. They also have aguas frescas: hibiscus water, horchata and pineapple. We tried the pineapple one. It was refreshing. 4/5.
