This is a good inexpensive restaurant. Yes the prices have gone up but hasn't everything. But still it's very good food. The service is quick and the food is always hot. The chili rellenos are my favorite. Then end it by going next door and getting some fresh sweet bread . Use too get it from my grandma all the time so it brings back great memories. This place is ridiculously over priced! 4 tacos for $22! Nothing special about the tacos! Plainly seasoned and salsa just taste like tomato sauce! I ended up throwing the other 2 tacos away because I couldn't have that plain meat anymore with lame ass sauce! Need to update their hours online and learn some fucking manners. Arrived at the time they list as opened. Stood outside in 39 degree weather for almost 20 minutes. People inside cooking and walking around but never once acknowledged my presence, and I'm in a 6xl high viz Orange shirt. Not once did they stop at the door and let me know they didn't open until 6 or let me in out of the cold to wait or even put up the number 6 with their fingers to tell me I'm early. Literally got fed up and went into the bakery that's connected only to be told they aren't open until 6 even though it says 5 online. Was offered to wait for 40 more minutes. Five stars! Everything you could want at this one stop shop. Breakfast Burritos, pan dulce, donuts, fresh juice, hot coffee, canned beer! Excellent service, stay to eat or take out. I can do better than this place but at the same time I haven't much better out here. The menu in the restaurant isn't descriptive so order accordingly. Do not think all burritos or a chimichangas are made the same. Be specific with your order. Thats the one thing we learned the hard way. The steak burrito was okay. My wife was in between with her chimichanga. She didn't like the red sauce being added and its not stated on menu but she will have order again without sauce. Could be cheaper, I think they're a little high. I recommend at least trying once, they're worthy of that. Customer service was decent. Decent restaurant. Not a bad place to check out. Not the best food, but not bad Mexican food. Plus one of the few places with Gorditas! Also they have large portions if that's what you like. Great benefit is that this place is connected to a full-bar with a shared door inside so you can grab some food and bring foood through the inside door to the bar where you can order BBQ or order a few drinks. It's also connected to the bakery on the other side so you can grab some Mexican or American pastries as well. read more

I just ordered my food less than 30 minutes ago. I tried it because of the reviews. First I must say the man taking orders was very nice although he was hesitant to take my order. I never got a receipt for my order, although I asked for one. I ordered my food, I got the Carne burrito and a super carne quesadilla. Well, let's just say I'll never be going back to this slop. My food is extremely greasy to the point it leaked all over my bag and napkins, which I can't use to wipe my hands now. For the quesadilla I got 3 lousy cut square pieces absolutely no lettuce or salsa, which is to be expected with the super. The grease saturated the bottom slice to the point I won't touch it. So I hoped for better with the burrito. WRONG. I open the foil and grease is all over the foil, it's saturating the tortilla and I hate soggy tortillas!!!!!!! Spent 27 dollars on 7 tacos last night. Birria quesa tacos to be exact. They were soggy i was so disappointed in the food. I had just got off of a hard day of work at the hospital and to pick up a order of food that is not worth eating is very disappointing. I called the restaurant when i got home but they were closed. So i called them the following day which is today and was told to bring the food back. I live about 30miles away from the restaurant and am at work again and wont be off til they almost close. No way i can grab it and bring it back in time before they close. Great breakfast burrito- not super cheap $6.50 but delicious and HUGE - enough to easily fill you up through lunch. Folks at both the donut side and the grill side are super super nice too. The panaderia pastries were okay - a little bland and a little dry. The churro was good though. This definitely beats the Starbucks down the street for both food and service. read more

Based on burrito order. The filling is a big slop of mush and I am not a fan of mushy. Its like the cheese, beans and rice were mixed in the same pot and scooped into tortillas as orders are made. Sometimes when we want a nice enchilada or taco lunch we stop in here. Casual dining or take out. The food is always quick and the taste is pretty consistent never a bad day which is pretty awesome because I get so frustrated when your craving a specific taste and the OTHER cooks in. Asked for a chicharon gordita and got a piece of nothing but fat with no salsa verde, tasted as if it was boiled in water and the masa was stale. THEY DONT CARE. When I first began coming here, I thought this place was my answer to inexpensive daily nutrition especially since they had an open salsa bar. I would come in at different times of the day. The first "bad" bean, cheese and rice burrito I received was towards the end of the day (it tasted like it had began decomposing.) I let it pass. The second problem was when I ordered the fajita plate, it was so salty it was inedible. This time I complained to multiple employees and even asked to speak to the owner. I have ordered their catering twice now. Usually order for about 25 to 30 people. I love their chicken. So good. Portions were great. Able to feed over 30 people and still have leftovers. They are a little lacking in the customer service arena but I've seen that frequently with many family run businesses. No smiles or welcomes. I just got used to it because at least they do they do the food fine. I haven't eaten their food onsite fir the restaurant area BUT I have stopped by the Donut side of the business and they are sooo good. And the lady I dealt with there was very nice and friendly.
