Been here two times and already love this place. They are very friendly and the service was fast and nice. Food was decent, I really enjoyed white special pizza and the minestrone soup. We will 100% visit them again before leaving Maui. read more

Busy with locals and tourists alike, the kids liked their pizza and fettuccine Alfredo. My wife liked her gluten free Lorenzo's pizza. It looked fresh. Arugula, prosciutto and mushroom. Hard to go wrong. My pizza was the only one that wasn't picture perfect. It was overcooked by about 5 minutes. The namesake Fabiani's pizza was definitely crispy. Server distracted by her other friends that are waitresses. Never checked on us until the end. The manager seemed nice. Held the door for my kids. Overall solid. read more

Stopped in for lunch with a couple of friends. Service was great. Nice ambiance and classy ambiance. We started off with our drinks and some garlic bread, which was so flavorful and stinkin' good! I had ordered the spaghetti bolognese, my friends had the lasagna and a salad. Everything turned out tasty.. Will definitely be coming in often since I'm here from Maui. read more

Fabiani's - These macaroons were so good! Best ones I've ever tasted yet! Tiramisu was my favorite :) - Italian Near Me - Kihei, Hawaii

A few years ago I used to come here for macaroons. And haven't been back until tonight. My friend visiting the island requested to go here & I'm actually a big fan of Italian. When we walked in, we weren't greeted & stood around for about 5-10 minutes until we were helped. We were seated & our drink order was taken immediately, which I thought was great! When we got our drinks we asked to order appetizers & then the waitress asked us to order our food at the same time. For the most part we had already decided what we were ordering, so it wasn't a big deal. We were brought our appetizers very quickly! As soon as one appetizer (ahi bruschetta) was placed on the table, I noticed a gnat. The person who ordered it decided to just shoo it away & didn't bother with that piece. Just as quick as we received our appetizers, our food was brought out. This would have been great, but there were four of us on a tiny table. When I asked to have an appetizer boxed, the waiter insisted us on eating it now or it will not be as good later. So we sat at the tiny table with about 8 plates & 4 drinks until I was able to get a waitress to box some of the appetizers. I ordered the chicken alfredo with shrimp. I really wanted to like it, but it was bland. I added salt & it didnt improve it. The waitress only acknowledged me at our table for some reason, but she was very on top of it until we received our check. She is the only reason I am leaving 2 stars. However, after dropping off our check, she wasnt as speedy. read more

A year later, I write this review from Fabiani's bar where I'm sipping a delicious sangria at the encouragement of Lorenzo, the owner. The sangria is definitely the best on Maui, and I often crave them, but it's the aforementioned Lorenzo that keeps me coming back as often as I do. The dude is always a pleasure to see -- greeting you with an adorable smile, a hug, or a drink. I feel like family when I come here (and you can tell by the check ins that I come here a LOT). You should come to Fabiani's for the food -- keep coming back for their staff and their service... And sangrias. read more

Great restaurant. Reasonable prices with genuine Italian cuisine. The chef/owner Lorenzo is there all the time making sure the food and service stays top notch. I wasn't overwhelmed with their scallop dish but the server told me it's one of the favorites of their customers. The salads are fresh, clean, crispy and tasty. The pasta and homemade sauce is unbeatable at any price. (If they're busy, there's usually a seat at the bar where the menu is the same and the service is fast, personal and friendly..) And there should be a sixth star for the delicious homemade pastry the gourmet pastry chef makes fresh every night in their "secret, hidden" shop upstairs over the restaurant! Parking is easy and convenient and this restaurant is centrally located so you can shop for just about anything before or after you eat; (including two or three farmers' markets within easy walking distance.) read more

Pizza, pasta, Gnocchi, & Baked Goods Oh My! When we land on island from Alaska we make a bee line for Fabiani's straight away! Whether it is macaroons, cookies, and a slice of cake for the road or Pizzas and pasta take away for a sunset beach picnic you cannot go wrong! We have only eaten and stayed once and it was spectacular of course! The staff is stellar and the cuisine is hard to beat! Enjoying food that is made with love and passion is like coming home! read more

My husband and I went back last night, and had a WAY better experience. The food, like last time, was super excellent! I got another panini, fantastic, and my hubby got the pasta special for the night. He said it was excellent. The restaurant was crazy busy, but our waitress was attentive and our food came out in a timely manner. I'm glad we went back, because the food is super good! I highly recommend it! :) And I really appreciated the owner, Mike, reaching out to me via yelp about our previous experience. Just that gesture alone made me happy. :) read more

Seen all the amazing reviews for this place and could not wait to see for myself ! Wonderful atmosphere, the place was buzzing ! Pizzas were a great size for the price, the veggie is so flavorful and the kalua pig BBQ pizza was perfect. Just the right amount of BBQ sauce. I had the ravioli and added meatballs, the only bummer was it wasn't hot enough but it was full of flavor. Our waitress was great, one of the best servers I've ever had (forgot her name tho) The only con about this place is the bathrooms are horrible !! So filthy and a little scary to go to alone at night, being that it's around the corner and in a chilly little alley. Will definitely return, can't wait to try the Wailea location (: read more

We came across this place after a long day of exploring the island and could not have been more pleased with not only the quality of the food but even more so the service. We were warmly greeted by the staff at the register that promptly took our order and answered any questions we had and then we enjoyed a drink and genuinely enjoyed our convo with the bartender Mandy who was so kind and despite being tourists gave us that small town feel. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and even better service. read more

Looking for great Italian food in Maui ??? This is the place. Awesome Calzone, and the best Alfredo sauce for the Fettuccini you will taste. Everything we ate there was fantastic. Great prices and service too ! If your vacationing with kids, this is a great option. The deserts are all great. the liolana cheesecake (butchered spelling) is awesome. Great Wailea location. read more

I liked the decoration and they seem to have a nice big playing area for kids. "The Fabiani" pizza was ok but the waitress came with our "Mauian" pizza and told us there was a mishap in the kitchen and served us a pizza with a bad crust which had a big hole in the middle! That's a first for me! Anyway we were hungry and it was almost closing time so we accepted it but they could at least have given it to us half price or even free to keep us happy. But no, the check came and it was full price. Good restaurants know how to compensate their customers for mistakes. "The Mauian" was too sweet, I guess the bad crust did not help us like it, my husband found it disgusting and there was a piece of pork which was just fat. Also I did not like the plastic plates and water cups, couldn't they provide proper plates? Water is not as refreshing when served in plastic, and it's very unhealthy to serve hot food on plastic, it emits chemicals. Also plastic makes me feel like I'm eating at a food truck or something, I like something more formal when I pay restaurant prices. Update: I went there for a second time and the pizza plates were not plastic, so that's an improvement. The water cups were still plastic, though. The house salad with lilikoi and vanilla dressing was very nice. I also had the linguine with clams and it was alright, it had a bit too much oil and garlic. In general I find the tastes basic here. I also wish they had a bigger craft beer selection. And the service is not the best. But I think I will upgrade it to 3 stars, it's not that bad. read more

The ONLY reason I am giving this review two stars and not one is because my kids had fun playing in the play area and the garlic bread was okay. We received the worst service from Mayra I have ever had in a restaurant. My friend and I show up with our kids to get appetizers, drinks and deserts. We tell them they can just put us outside at a small table because we don't need seats for the kids they will probably play the whole time. But no they insist they need a six top for us. That's fine. BUT THEN in front of my friend Mayra tells the host "if they have kids DO NOT put them there" and points at a table in her section. Well they end up putting us there. She is rude from the very beginning. We happily tell her we hadn't been here before and were excited because our kids could play while we relaxed. She seemed irritated by the fact we weren't ordering entrees just multiple appetizers and drinks at first. Which is fine we still enjoyed ourselves. But the kicker we ended up being there for almost and hour and a half because no one would serve us. They brought out our food and we never saw them again until my kid flagged down a buser for crayons and then she came out when we asked another server if we could order deserts. No one refilled our drinks or even asked how our food was. Basically Mayra made us feel like we were an inconvenience from the start and served literally everyone else around us. The kicker we had to ask someone to bring us our bill after we had been done for 20 minutes already and Mayra was "in the back". Then upon leaving no one said goodbye. I'm extremely disappointed and hope maybe she just had a bad night. Either way it put a damper on what was supposed to be a fun evening. read more

My wife and I dined at this wonderful establishment last night, and have only high praise to bestow upon Mike and the crew at Fabiani's. We came in on a very busy night, and although the wait was not terribly long, we were taken care of by Mike who apologized for the wait and went on to ensure our dining experience was the best that it could be. We split the Genovese Pizza (shrimp) and were simply amazed at the quality and taste of the food. This is gourmet pizza at it's finest. Mike was constantly on the go, making rounds to see if anything could be done or offered to enhance the experience of the customers. The staff was also very prompt and courteous, despite the very busy atmosphere and on-the-go pace they needed to maintain. A great price, a wonderful meal, and true customer service. Mahalo, Fabiani's! read more

Oh My GOODNESS!!! Just got home after dinner at Fabiani's Bakery & Pizzeria! The Eggplant Parmesean was incredible! and I over heard the lady at the table next to me tell the waitress the gentleman with her said the lasagna was THE BEST he's EVER had! So this was my second time in, so let me open with great food yet again, but a MAJOR disappointment on the service. Once we were seated, we waited 25 minutes before we got in our drink order. Once we put in the dinner order, waitress forgot to bring me my side salad and my daughters main salad entree. At the very end of the night, when she brought the check, she apologized for the slow service, letting us know they were shorthanded. I can totally be a flex guy on stuff like this it tell us at the outset and maybe comp an appetizer or something. I will probably try them again, but if service hits this level again, will be my last time, which is a bummer because the food is pretty great. read more

Stayed for 3 nights in Kihei and we had Fabiani's for 3 dinners in a row. We chose to dine-in on the first night and ordered the Spinach-Artichoke dip and Maui Veggie Pizza with additional toppings - must say, it had a perfectly thin crust, full of flavours, cheesy and fresh from the oven. So much so that we ended up coming back for takeout the next 2 nights. Must visit if you haven't been here already. Amazing food + service and kudos to the crew for ensuring the best hygiene protocols during these difficult times. read more

Solid, decent Italian. I wish they used more aromatics and herbs, though! We got: House salad: very fresh Kula greens with an interesting lilikoi-vanilla dressing. Best thing we had. Quattro Staggione pizza: I asked the server to "mix it up" as previous reviewers suggested. It was fine - fresh ingredients, thin crust as promised - it just didn't have any flavor. Could really have used some garlic on the crust or in the sauce, or some herbs, or something. Spaghetti with meatballs: Also just ok. Meatballs were good, but again, underseasoned. Sauce was ok, also underseasoned. The desserts in the case looked great but we didn't try any. read more

4 stars for the authentic French macaroons. They looked and tasted exactly like the ones you get in Paris. I was searching for these for a long time and it is hard to find in US. I liked it better than their pizza. We shared the veggie pizza, which was meh, nothing special. The artichoke dip was decent. The service was average, ambience was ok. On the whole, I recommend their bakery which is inside the restaurant itself. read more

Lipoa. We went 3 times. The Ruben pizza flavorful, the desert delicious. We went 3 times to give them another chance. Service sucked. I thought maybe, well the word prejudice comes to mind. Maybe it was just us local gals maybe we were dressed to casual. We were nice, excited to be there but our smiles & excitement was not shared by our waitress. Oh well, regardless we had heard good things an was ready for our great meal. The chef did not disappoint us! Our dull waitress brought our good. Never came back again except to bring the check. Our 1st visit, we asked for desert. She replied, 'sure, you want it to go?' Huh? No, I said. Our 2nd visit, same service. The party of 4 next to us, (haole) she asked them twice how their meal was & if she could bring them anything else. She later went back & offered desert explaining the menu. The 3rd time, I ordered a sandwich and asked for extra cheese. The waitress set my plate in front of me and in a toneless flat voice said, 'Gee, you must like cheese.' What does that mean? We got the same exact service. Take order, bring food and set bill on table and leave. The party of 4 across us. (Haole) she asked, 'Was your meal up to your satisfaction? ' So we will never go again. I work with tourist, one on one maybe 15 a day. Popular question, 'What's a good restaurant? ' I never recommend Fabiani & I do share my horrible experience. read more

Had dinner here late one night bc there wasn't a lot open later than 9. I had the mauian pizza (kalua pork, pineapple, bbq sauce) and my bf had the lasagna. Both were just ok in my opinion. I also had a strawberry basil cocktail, that tasted like a cherry limeade soda type drink. Wouldn't really recommend and probably the worst food we had in Maui, even though it wasn't terrible. read more

Excellent pizza. Thin perfect crust. Two reasonable people can split a 12", but you'll probably want more. The ham and pineapple is the finest expression of the genre anywhere. All the others are excellent. My companions all had pasta and enjoyed, but no one raved. The sit down dining environment is a fin and retro scene, a little dark, with vintage swing music (Frank, Ella, Louis) in the background. And only $4 for a pint of local micro-brew!!! read more

Not authentic Italian pizza. HARD, rolled crust, American shredded mozzarella, shaved basil? The reviews of this place completely lead us astray. We assumed Maui had a global enough consumer base that the word 'authentic' meant something. We were wrong. We didn't finish anything but the can of Aranciata. I honestly can't think of another time I've left a Margherita pizza unfinished. Skip the antipasto, all the veggies are pickled. Skip the Margherita (see above), don't ask for a Diavola. High vibration, positive energy. Everyone working is upbeat, on their toes, and with a smile. All friendly and work together. The QUICHE was AMAZING!!!! Also had the chicken pesto- which tasted great, but there was more bread then everything else. I'm sure I'll be a regular there! The portions were huge, and prices were really good, and to know that it was all made right there makes a huge difference in my eyes. Loved it! read more

I've been eating at Fabiani's since it opened in Kihei. Overall, the food is acceptable for the charged prices. However, if you're looking for a pleasant service experience, eat elsewhere. I've noticed a marked decline in their hospitality, which culminated in my lunch experience today. Our server, Eva, rushed us through our meal-- attempted to obtain our order as soon as we were seated, hovered over us while we ate, tried to clear our table before we were done eating, and brought our check while my boyfriend and I still had food in our hands and mouths. Upon dropping the check, she stood in front of us and stared for a few awkward moments, then proceeded to tell me that her shift was nearly over, so we'd have to pay immediately. Yikes. I haven't had such an uncomfortable dining experience anywhere in a while, and won't be going back to Fabiani's anytime soon. I work in the service industry in Wailea, and have referred many clients to this restaurant. I will absolutely be removing this location from my list of dining recommendations. 2 stars for the food, only... read more

This review is solely for the bagels that I picked up for breakfast one day when my husband and I visited Maui. I had placed an order for pickup and within 10 minutes my order of bagel with cream cheese and egg bagel sandwich was ready. The egg was cooked perfectly and the flavors were right. However we could not enjoy it because the bagels were just so hard and chewy. I am not sure of the bagels were old or they were not toasted right. read more
