I tried for an hour to get it open, an employee, a big guy, brought his tool box, and he tried, using brute force and multiple tools, and then Cathy, the manager tried. Cathy is very small, probably 105 lbs soaking wet, but she examined the situation carefully, thought about it for a minute, and then MacGyver'd that door open with no tools in about about 30 seconds. It was a wonder to behold! Afterwards, she just casually dusted her hands off and acted like it was no big deal, but it was actually amazing. Both Cathy and the other employees at this facility are nice, helpful, and efficient. I have never had a negative experience with anyone at this Storage Pro; they are all really good to deal with.

The three person team arrived without water, hours late, did not seem like they were feeling well as three of them used our bathroom For extended periods of time, if you know what I mean! They built a cardboard ramp to move our furniture and boxes down a staircase-despite our protests (we were on a very tight schedule and felt desperate ) this destroyed furniture and boxes,literally ripped the bars off of wardrobe boxes, all in the exact same way. Left half of our furniture and goods behind, this we have learned are called hostage loads, to force the second day move and despite a contract tried to charge us Twice the estimate! Owner promised to repair and replace Furniture late that night, as I protested and shared the extreme damage and the fact that half of our belongings were left behind . They did not follow through. She has sent harassing text messages @10pm, as I've used the proper authorities to try to address this after her failing to respond or live up to her responsibilities I will post a screenshot of her response to me which -"was it was all damaged already, My team did nothing" We live in a pet and child free home and all of this furniture was purchased with pride when our children were in college and was damage free. She of course, does not have proof that any of these items were damaged We have video and photos of items before the move and proof of sending her videos and photos in the early a.m. as this move dragged to the 2 AM hour at which time her workers were revving their truck engine in our small residential neighborhood, In a threatening manner. We found our new shark vacuum in a yard down the street and to whomever lost their king main bed Support we have it. They left it with us! They got the date wrong, they got the time wrong, they got the address is wrong, and the quote of $4500 ended up being over $5500 with my restoration hardware furniture damaged and family canvas photos ruined. Thousands of dollars down the drain. Unpacking day, the movers arrived. 15 minutes early and unlocked my door to let my kitten out who was then lost and never found. Movers did not bring moving blankets, saran wrap, bubble wrap, boxes, nothing. We had to let them borrow our straps to strap down the furniture. Somehow we were charged for all of these moving supplies that the movers didn't even bring. Day two was delivery day and one truck showed up on time with damaged furniture and the other truck showed up four hours late yet the company tried to charge me for four guys the entire day. I text the owner Frank at start and stop time of the crew during the entire experience yet when the bill came my credit card was charged without my permission for over $1000 of hours that were not worked. When I brought this up with the owner. He gave me a $200 credit which is ridiculous in the scheme of $1000 overcharge and over $4000 worth of damaged furniture. Then he had the audacity to tell me that the furniture was not damaged by his company a month later as I was waiting for the Insurance from his company to contact me. Very unprofessional, unorganized, and I cannot believe these people conduct business in this manner for this price.
