We signed a paper contract when they dropped off the unit, although I don't really remember signing a contract. But then 3.5 years later, they sent us a digital contract and asked us to sign it. But because I don't remember the paper contract, I refused to sign the digital contract. Even though we were paying every month on time for the last four years, they refused to give us one more month with the unit because we refused to sign the contract. Additionally, after returning the unit, my credit card was charged two months in a row, and I had to call the company to get a refund on my credit card. I would recommend the business because the delivery and pickup of the unit was simple. But everything else involved with renting this unit, I don't recommend.

Fast forward a few weeks and Rozanne is generally the one that is there and she always greets us with a smiling face and is super helpful and accommodating. I purchased a storage space from here in August of 2023. At that time, for the space and price. I…read more thought it was reasonable, but now. I think the rate they charge is ridiculous!! Now I know everything must go up but to go up in six months from $137.00, plus they charge a $14.00 insurance fee. Add that on monthly to the total. I thought ok not too bad, but to increase from that to $187.00 monthly, and it's only been six months, it is beyond ridiculous, and I have automatic deductions coming from my credit card. You would think they would offer a discount for that but they don't. I was not notified properly that it would be such a large increase per monthly payment. They claimed that they mailed it, but I never received it. Why didn't I get an email or something. I had to call and inquire about this and to be told that they will increase every six months is a bit much. I probably won't be keeping this past a year because I don't feel like it's worth it. Please communicate and how about offering a discount for automatic payments. I suggest you look elsewhere. Rent doesn't even go up every six months. Why would anyone want to pay an additional $ 80.00 or more for one year of storage space. They really need to look into this. I am highly disappointed. I will have to go over my contract because that was not explained to me when I purchased it. Believe it. If it had been, I would not have purchased it.

In the course of 2 years, company decided to raise my agreed rental rate 3 times for up to 50% more than initially agreed. After confronting the manager, I was told this is out of their hands since corporate decides when and how much the rental increases occur. Instead of moving my business elsewhere, manager offered a smaller unit at a much lesser rate, taking into account that "rate will not increase for at least a year and even if it does, increase will be marginal". Trusting this company I decided to go ahead with the downgrade. To my surprise, less than 4 months later I receive ANOTHER RATE INCREASE NOTICE!! This time the increase would be for more than 50% starting next month. This increase like all the others happen for NO JUSTIFIABLE reason. As expressed by many others, this company has a long history of PREDATORY BILLING PRACTICES. They purposely wait for you to be settled with your storage to increase your rates, not by a marginal amount but increases of over 50% of your agreed rental agreement. I appealed this with their superiors in writing but they failed to even respond. I am now in the process of starting to take legal action against this company and needless to say I recommend everyone to stay away from this corporation completely!

That was not at all climate controlled. There were no carts to help move. Floors were extremely slippery when they became wet from the ice. There were no rugs. The lights did not work. There was thick ice outside the building so it was dangerous to be unloading things. Water damage was obvious in the ceiling a little bit away from my unit. Then after a month I see i was charged twice. I then went to the app and I see that there is two units listed. I attempted to reach the manager or anyone at this location for several days and finally got a return call to someone who told me that I had to prove to her that I had not rented the first unit. I tried to explain to her that you cannot prove a negative. And that it was their app that made a mistake. I explained that you can see that the plastic tie is still on the other unit had never been used. She told me that this was my problem and refused anything further.
