I was particularly impressed by the ease of locating this storage facility and the easy drive in and parking setting. The First thing i observed was their excellent friendly customer service on phone and in person. The person who spoke with me(Rosanne Maisonneuve) patiently explained every step i needed to take in order to make my move-in process smooth and answered all my question to my satisfaction. i got to the facility late in the evening, but she was patient enough and went out of her way to ensure they provided the needed services i required.,, she took exceptional professional care in helping me make the appropriate choice and size of store room and other logistics like padlock and electronic lock system etc that i required for my goods. . Fourthly, the serenity, and exceptional neatness of the storage facility is outstanding. They had enough loading equipment to assist me haulage my goods from my truck to my store room. This further made my move-in very smooth. I don't usually write reviews but I had to give Rozanne and Laurel Self Storage 5 stars!! I have heard horror stories in the past regarding storage units so I was apprehensive when I found myself in the position to need a unit quickly to store items for a family member going into assisted living. There are 6 facilities within a five mile radius of the location I needed. I researched and visited all of them to determine security, cleanliness, ease of access and price. Several of them were nasty (including dead mice and animal feces at the place my neighbor recommended). I narrowed it down to two. Rozanne at Laurel Self Storage was very accommodating and patient answering all my questions. She showed me several units and even helped me to determine the exact size I would need for the items in question. She was exactly right on the size with a little space to spare. Without her expertise I probably would have rented a unit larger than needed costing me additional dollars each month. I am confident the items are secure and easily accessible. My experience with Laurel Self Storage was beyond great! I was in the process of moving and contacted them while in route to Maryland. A sweet lady named Rozanne (who I now know is the property manager) answered the phone. I explained my situation to her and expressed that I was on a bit of a time crunch. Without hesitation, she was able to assist me in securing a unit over the phone and even allowed a friend to pick up the keys for me. Rozanne's customer service is definitely unmatched. She was extremely helpful throughout the entire process, and helped make my move a pleasant one. The facility itself is clean, in a good area, well-maintained and the units are very nice. I began renting a storage unit here about six months ago. I find it very clean and bright every time I come in. I am so grateful that Rozanne Maisonneuve is there because she has proved invaluable on more than a few occasions. I lost my password for entry and she immediately helped me restore it. I also needed to upgrade to a larger unit and that was easy. I signed up for auto pay and my credit card changed and I received an email from them while on vacation and was able to update my card information while I was away and avoided any late fees, again thanks to Rozanne. Laurel Self Storage was very easy to book (through Uhaul) and was super accommodating when I showed up and needed a bigger unit than I had reserved. Rozanne the property manager was especially helpful and made sure I had absolutely everything I needed! The facility is clean and well-maintained and the units are very nice.
