But because I don't remember the paper contract, I refused to sign the digital contract. Even though we were paying every month on time for the last four years, they refused to give us one more month with the unit because we refused to sign the contract. Additionally, after returning the unit, my credit card was charged two months in a row, and I had to call the company to get a refund on my credit card. I would recommend the business because the delivery and pickup of the unit was simple. But everything else involved with renting this unit, I don't recommend.

I purchased a storage space from here in August of 2023. At that time, for the space and price. I…read more thought it was reasonable, but now. I think the rate they charge is ridiculous!! Now I know everything must go up but to go up in six months from $137.00, plus they charge a $14.00 insurance fee. Add that on monthly to the total. I thought ok not too bad, but to increase from that to $187.00 monthly, and it's only been six months, it is beyond ridiculous, and I have automatic deductions coming from my credit card. You would think they would offer a discount for that but they don't. I was not notified properly that it would be such a large increase per monthly payment. They claimed that they mailed it, but I never received it. Why didn't I get an email or something. I had to call and inquire about this and to be told that they will increase every six months is a bit much. I probably won't be keeping this past a year because I don't feel like it's worth it. Please communicate and how about offering a discount for automatic payments. I suggest you look elsewhere. Rent doesn't even go up every six months. Why would anyone want to pay an additional $ 80.00 or more for one year of storage space. They really need to look into this. I am highly disappointed. I will have to go over my contract because that was not explained to me when I purchased it. Believe it. If it had been, I would not have purchased it.

I have reported this to the Better Business Bureau, my insurance company, and to any and all business review agencies like Yelp. I must say that I am leaving now that the new management has created an atmosphere of distrust, dishonesty, and lies. When I first moved my trailer, I was very happy with Donna Strickland managing the property because she was very quick to notify someone if there ever was an issue, concern, or question about my property. Since the new management has taken over, we have experienced property damage that they refused to report. It was only found after we checked on the trailer. We were told that it had been that way for over a year, which is an outright lie. I had been to my property in January 2022 to retrieve items from the trailer and there was no problem at that time. We were then told that we did this, which again was an outright lie. Our property was hit by another vehicle and the management never informed us or took a report from the other vehicle involved. They are now claiming that cameras, which were in place are not working. They are refusing to take responsibility for the damage since they failed to report the incident. They have been dishonest in the handling of this matter and have lied every time I question them about this matter. We were told that a report would be sent to Corporate but that was over a month ago and still, no one has contacted us about this matter. I moved this past weekend and hired Bookstore Movers for the job. I can honestly say I was blown…read moreaway by the professionalism, efficiency, and expertise of the moving crew. I worked with a different moving company 2 years ago that left me scarred for life with how rude and unprofessional they were. I ended up having to finish the job myself (moving my giant couch up four flights of stairs), so when I knew I was moving again, I did my due diligence and sought out a few quotes. Another company quoted me almost $800 and required a 3 hour minimum for the job!! $800 seemed steep and I knew the job wouldn't take that long... Along came Bookstore Movers who quoted me a reasonable $470 minimum for two hours of work and a maximum of $680 for 3.5 hours of work (price breakdown: $140 per hour with 2 hour min. plus a $190 truck fee). I received a quote within a few hours of requesting it. There was no deposit required and the date was booked. I received detailed emails leading up to the move about FAQs, tips for a seamless move, and the names of my crew including contact info for the crew lead. Abdul (crew lead), Niiwayo "Y.O", and Milly were SO fast and friendly. They wrapped every single item with care in drop cloths and got to moving immediately. Despite the 90 degree heat and a total of five flights of stairs, the job was finished in 2 hours. I was SO impressed. I was so traumatized by my last move that I literally had to walk away while they moved the couch in but before I knew it, I got a text from my boyfriend telling me they had fit it through the door and our living room was all set up. I was so relieved and happy to work with them. If and when we move again, (hopefully not anytime soon, lol), I will 100% be contacting Bookstore Movers... and you should too!
