Holy Crap, I can't believe nobody has Yelped these guys yet!!!
I went here a few days ago with my girl (she needed a place to put all the crap we can't live without but didn't want in the house.) I mentioned this place to her as its right down the street from my school (CSU East Bay), I see it every day. We decided to check it out and were planning on shopping around to see who had the best deal.
Driving up, the place looked pretty nice and the office looked brand new. When we walked in the people working there both greeted us...not that usual retail greeting either where you can tell they don't want to help you and wish you'd just die...they seemed actually happy to meet us. We told them we needed a locker for our junk. The manager introduced himself and shook our hands (Jameson I think...had the same name as a whisky and I doubt his name was Southern Comfort!) Anyways, he took us out on a golf cart to see the space. I asked if I could drive but he said that he sadly couldn't let me...but still riding around on that thing was pretty sweet. He was really helpful and found us an awesome space with a really low price. It was upstairs, but he showed us the elevator they had and how to use it...good thing cause I've never seen an elevator like that before, we got all our stuff in there in ONE LOAD!!! Easy-peasy! LOL!
Paperwork was easy, really quick and Jameson explained EVERYTHING so there wasn't any a hidden cost or surprises. Another thing that I thought was wicked cool, turns out the girl who was working in the office with him is his fiancé and they live on the property so if something happens after the place closes up...like the elevator exploding or something, they are there to deal with it. I felt pretty good after hearing that.
AND THE BEST PART...THEY HAD HOMEMADE COOKIES!!! His fiancé said she made them and I was tempted to grab the tray and run out of there with those damn cookies they were so good!
Soooo...Friendly peeps and cookies got our business. I can't guarantee they will have cookies next time, but I was pretty freakin' happy with this place and how we were treated and would gladly recommend this place to anyone who has junk they can't bear to part with....but can't bear looking at it in their homes! -M read more
