The truck was observed making a difficult multi-point turn beside my parked car while a FedEx driver repeatedly told the driver to stop and helped guide the vehicle. Later, I discovered a large gash in my rear bumper. The FedEx driver said the U-Haul may have hit my car during the maneuver, although he could not directly see the point of impact. The customer who hired the movers also confirmed that this company was working there with a U-Haul that morning. I contacted the company and shared the location, timing, witness information, customer confirmation, and details of the damage. Rather than conducting a transparent investigation, providing insurance information, or attempting to resolve the issue, the company refused to take responsibility. Accidents can happen. What matters is how a business responds afterward. In my experience, this company's response showed a serious lack of accountability and customer care.

I was quoted for a 4 man, 2 truck move at a $310 hourly rate. I was told, after sending in my video, that the move would take 4.5-5.5 hours. The morning of the move, I got a call that one of the movers was not available and only 3 men and 2 trucks would be coming at an adjusted hour rate of $275. How they came up with this arbitrary figure, who knows. The three men got to my home within the agreed upon window, however, at almost no point did the men work together. They went to separate areas to work and took their time. I appreciate them wanting to wrap furniture, but Two Men should invest some time and money in training their "employees" about the most efficient means of doing so. I have hired full-service movers in the past who completed the entire move in less time than it took these people and the boxes were packed and staged for them! I talked to a supervisor during the move who assured me they would take care of it at the end- a lie. At the end, they booked me for almost $2600 and told me someone would be in touch. They didn't keep any of the next appointments to make the problems right. They broke an irreplaceable antique chest, a very expensive piece of china and some of my bakeware. !!!BEWARE!!!

The desks were dismantled, and all the screws were stored in labeled bags. Important documents were stored in marked boxes to avoid getting lost among household items. They also put our stuff in our kitchen and living room, dividing the space. The truck was on time to the new address, and unloading began immediately. It started raining while they were moving, but they were careful and had covers to protect them. Fortunately, the boxes remained dry, including some with electronics and papers. They were delivered at around 10 pm. One cable was installed in another office box and was easily found due to the labeling. The service was useful for anyone relocating to preserve a work-from-home regimen.

They used protective wrapping for the display cases so the glass and edges would not get scratched. Shelving units were carefully disassembled, and the hardware was stored in labeled containers. Smaller baking tools and inventory were packed in separate cartons rather than mixed. The new bakery location was still under construction, so some of our equipment needed temporary storage. The storage arrangement gave us time to complete the remaining work at the new place. During unloading, one shelf bracket was not immediately visible, which worried us for a moment. It was later found inside the labeled hardware box, so nothing was actually missing. The delivery team came on the scheduled date for the final placement. They positioned the heavier equipment where our contractor had marked the floor plan. The move helped us reopen without a major interruption to our work. Beau, the owner, visited us and gave an estimate that was very competitive. Throughout the move process they had very good communication. Before the move, we packed up most of the things ourselves, but Phoenix offered to have some of their office staff pack up the fragile items like dishes and art work on an hourly rate. This really helped! On the day of the move, they were on time and they brought in 10 people to pack the van and get us on our way quickly. When they moved us, they did not consolidate and transfer our things to another van, our things stayed in the same van until it reached its final destination. When they unpacked, they were very professional and efficient. To summarize, we had a great experience moving with Phoenix Express and I would highly recommend them for anyone to move with!

THEFT: They stole several new high quality and expensive moving blankets and we had to play "search and rescue" to find our blankets in their truck after they UNWRAPPED stored furniture that had brand new blankets and then REWRAPPED the furniture with old filthy blankets to bring them from a storage unit to our house; (2). FRAUDULENT BILLING & PADDING OF INVOICE: Currin padded the invoice by approx. $250. (3). NEGLIGENCE & PROPERTY MISHANDLING: Currin had no carpet protection to put on carpets even though he confirmed prior to the move that he had new runners to put down. He only had one for the entry and it was filthy. Currin tried to put filthy plastic down but it did not work so he decided to remove his shoes and had his coworkers do the same when bringing items in, therefore creating a hazard for everyone including the items he was moving. These crooks left furniture turned upside down and purposefully put it in wrong rooms to be vindictive. (4) REFUSED to HONOR LIABILITY COVERAGE FOR CLAIMS: We paid $300 for liability coverage and had damage to several items but when we reached out to him to file a claim, he refused to provide any information to start the claims process. Sam Currin also had hostile and threatening behavior toward my husband and I when confronted about the stolen blankets and bill. He was caught and we all knew it. His hostile, aggressive, and threatening demeanor continually worsened until he stormed out of our home. He created an unsafe and intimidating environment. This level of aggression and lack of professionalism is unacceptable, dangerous and will be reported.

This last time, we used Duryea Moving and Storage from Denton, Texas, to move our belongings from U-Store-It in Sherman, Texas to Edmond, Oklahoma. I am much appreciative of Wheaton because we only gave them one week's notice, and most companies will only move you if you give them at least two weeks. Wheaton came through again, and our driver, Steven Peace, contacted us on Thursday, telling us that he would meet us at the storage facility 8:30 that Saturday morning. With a crew of three, including himself, Steven had our two units emptied and loaded in less than three hours. He arrived in Edmond with a crew of four Monday at 7:30 a.m. If anything, Steven is prompt. They unloaded, took direction, hooked up our appliances, set up the beds and sectional furniture, and were finished before lunch. In addition to being prompt and quick, his team is courteous and professional. We recommend Wheaton and Steven if you are moving a short distance or cross-country.

At the start the guys seemed cool, but as the move went on their attitude changed. They started complaining about how much stuff I had even though I did a full intake with them beforehand and we already agreed on a price. They even started insinuating I should go to an ATM to pay them more money, which made me feel uneasy and was unprofessional since the rate was already set. I moved into a brand new building where I'm only the 3rd person on my floor. A hallway light fixture was broken during the move and they told me they didn't do it. However, management knocked on my door later saying they have them on camera breaking the light and damaging the walls. On top of the building damage, my vanity was broken, some furniture was scratched, and the monitor for my work computer is broken. I've asked repeatedly for their insurance information so we can resolve this, but they aren't responding. I believe I've been blocked now because my messages are no longer going through.
