They have a clause in the small print of the contract that allows this and they count on the difficulty of moving to another place. This is a classic "bait and switch" strategy that hurts a brans. This one is hard. I give 0/5 stars to Extra Storage Space as a company, would not recommend it to anyone, and would not do business with them again. They jacked up my price by almost 100% increase after 4 months with no explanation, just a slip in the mail that said "Dear Sir, starting (this date), your new month bill is $$$." I called the 1-800 number and after holds and stringing along I found someone who gave me a "deal" by cutting the new price down a little bit. But, I have my stuff stuck there and have moved across country for now. That being said, I give this location and particularly the owner/manager Amy 5/5. She is friendly and helpful. And she is tough. She and her partner live on the premises, and the closing time is 10 pm. I was there finishing up at 10:05 pm, and she appeared ready to fight and scared me away. I feel my things stored there are safe and secure. The location is clean and the elevators are plenty big. read more

I picked this one over the other ones nearby due to the 5 stars that it absolutely deserves! The place isn't the shiniest or biggest, but it does it's job well - storing my stuff and keeping it safe! Clean and well- lit with energy-saving lighting, large elevator and 4-5 platform dollies make it easy to un/load and move stuff into & out of the storage unit easily. I was able to rent my second space with Amy sooner than expected and once again, Amy was extremely helpful! It's nice to work with a person who actually cares. Let's face it, renting a space in this area is always going to be expensive but at least you feel better giving your money to a nice, knowledgeable person with a great sense of humor. Amy and Steve are truly wonderful! I've a had medium-sized storage unit at the SunnyOaks location since early 2018, and they've always been very friendly and accommodating. For example, I had fraud on a credit card, which was the card I used to pay Extra Storage, so I called them in a panic, worried my payment wouldn't go through and they assured me I had time to get them the new credit card info without risking the loss of my space and belongings. I was looking for a storage unit to store all of my personal and holiday belongings. I booked a space online at this location and was informed I would be receiving a call back. The call back was from Amy. She has a welcoming friendly, voice and was very helpful. We set up a same day appointment for me to reserve my unit. I arrived 20 minutes early and let her know that if she needed I could come back at our scheduled time. She stopped what she was doing and insisted my early arrival was okay. I never like to do that to people, but she was just as sweet in person as she was on the phone, made me feel welcomed. It was quick and smooth.
