Trigger warning! WARNING!!…read more I had an appointment to pick up my U-Haul trailer, for a three day rental. I was called 24 hours it in advance and asked to come one hour before closing. The business was not prepared to deal with the amount of customers that were present at the same time. When I showed up one hour before closing, all the parking spots were taken. So I pulled as close as I could to the east side of their small parking lot. I went in, I sat down and waited my turn. As Soon as the receptionist finished with her client, the male client left, and she started with her next client, female. Then he(the client whom just check out) returned, asking who drove the vehicle that I was in. I told him that as soon as I could that I would definitely move it for him, because there was no parking Spaces available. He started yelling at me, then someone else (female client) started yelling at me, then the people behind the counter stared yelling at me. Just to be clear I was the only person that was light skinned and blue eyed the entire building. I had to endure such a racial slurs says "white bitch"& "Privileged white bitch". I was told by the Male worker I was being Berate, for standing up for myself. I offered to move, which was denied. I offered to back completely out of the area, which was denied. Eventually the Male client who was screaming at me in the parking lot left. Before he left, he screamed at me. Calling me 'white' and other things. At this time I'm just stunned. I parked and went inside to ask the manager what the next step was. He told me that they refuse to do business with me. A female, being yelled at by a man and woman in the parking lot. I would like all the none Prejudice individuals of our community to understand that this is not a place That I would do business with. I'll pick up my U-Haul from anywhere else in the area except this place. So, what happens when, one person has no pre judgment, and the other does. ---- Update: Your response is just as I thought it would be. I'm still not interested in doing business with you.

Terrible first (and last) customer experience. My pre-labeled package was dropped off for before…read moreposted pickup time international delivery with DHL Express on the 24th. Curiously and without any follow-up from anyone at Boulder Packaging, my time-sensitive customer's package sat without even being scanned into the system for tracking four days after drop-off at this store until I called with pointed questions. My business card was provided twice to the clerk at the time of drop-off and he refused to take it, but since my business contact info is listed on the label & internantional paperwork, I'd thought everything was good. It very much was NOT! When I noticed no progress on the tracking, I called to check in on the 26th and the employee that answered was the same man that had initially received my package three days earlier on the 24th. He casually related that mysteriously, neither FedEx nor DHL had picked up ANY PACKAGES for three days, but "we absolutely did nothing wrong", he insisted. I was stunned to be expected to believe that explanation for an "Authorized" Ship Center, so I immediately called DHL customer support and my Account Rep directly to repeat my questions and get real answers. DHL explained that some shipping centers have automatic daily pickup while others have to call to request pickup. Miraculously, my package was finally picked up on the 27th to at last begin it's journey abroad after an inexplicably undocumented and uncommunicated four day layover at Boulder Packaging Center. This is certainly not what I or my customer paid for when we were entrusted to get their package abroad in a express manner. We DO NOT RECOMMEND and will not trust this location again for our business shipping in-the-field drop-offs. It is really unfortunate since we prefer to support local businesses whenever possible. My business reputation cannot afford their lack of professional accountability and excessively casual attitude about their role in getting paying customer's packages delivered on time. FedEx & DHL, you need to check up on your "Authorized" Shipping Centers. Your brand and your customers are not being represented or served well here.

They showed up 5 hours late, yelled at me that I gave them a bad quote and refused to do my move which ended up costing me THOUSANDS. And spoiler, another company did the job in the time I was originally quoted by these people and for half the price. As a woman moving alone, these movers made me incredibly uncomfortable in the short time they were in my home. I called and got a quote over the phone. This was not unusual to me as I've only ever gotten phone quotes for moving and have never had issues in the past. I was quoted 2.5-3 hours with 3 movers. I called 5 other companies in the area and received similar quotes, I chose this company due to their availability. I scheduled my move for 4 days before I needed to be out of my place. They were scheduled to arrive between 12-3pm. At 3pm, I was told their morning job was taking much longer than anticipated but they should arrive within the hour. At 4pm I received a text from the team letting me know they were an HOUR AND A HALF away and would be stopping for food on their way. I contacted the "manager" and was assured they would be able to complete my move that day. The team showed up at 5:30pm, 5.5 hours late and I have never had movers be more disrespectful and demeaning toward me. My home was clean, fully boxed, and ready to be loaded. For $210/hour I was not about to waste time. They walked through my home to assess everything and Tyler, who is supposedly the best they have, was rude and disrespectful every step of the way. He yelled at me that there was no way they could do the move in the time quoted. Given that their morning job took 4-5 hours longer than anticipated, whoever is quoting jobs clearly doesn't know what they're doing. I was alone and the way their team treated me in my home made me incredibly uncomfortable, they yelled at me that I wasted their time, they drove to Fort Collins from Denver and their cars were in a storage unit in Denver that closed at 9pm. Even if they completed the job in the minimum quoted time, they still wouldn't have made it back to Denver in time to collect their vehicles so I don't see how that was my problem but he sure made it my problem. Tyler told me the move would take a team of 4 movers at least 7 hours to complete. To be clear, this was a two bedroom townhome, not a 5 bedroom house. As I was about to throw them out of my home for being so demeaning and disrespectful, they offered to step out and call their manager. At 6pm I received a call from the manager who told me the team claimed there were 150 boxes in my home and they would not be doing the move. When I argued that was absolutely not the case (i counted and there were 56 boxes, 6 large, 15 medium, 25 small, and 10 plastic tubs) I was told he didn't know who to believe...um excuse me?!? He offered to reschedule for another day at more than DOUBLE my initial quote. After the experience his "best guy" had to offer, there was no way I would ever agree to pay them even my original quote let alone $1800?! I told him this was unacceptable and explained the financial impact, all I got was "sorry, we wish you the best of luck with your move" after wasting 6 hours of my time and costing me thousands. This was a huge waste of my time and costly. I deliberately scheduled the move on my day off with several days after to do final small things and clean before handing over keys. A new tenant was scheduled to move in shortly after. Because of this company's laziness and incompetence, I had to pay an additional month rent and the next tenant's move was also impacted. I am truly beside myself at what a horrible experience this was. Now for the kicker - I hired another company to do my move the following week. I hired two movers and anticipated an 8 hour move due to what I was told by this team. I was genuinely afraid to do the walkthrough given what happened with moving brothers. I explained what happened and the new quote I was given and the new movers laughed. They said this team took too long at their job in the morning, ate and sat in the truck for an hour, and when they showed up they were tired or lazy and simply didn't want to do the job. They said the 7 hour quote was an FU to me since they drove up to Fort Collins. It took the new movers FOUR HOURS TOTAL. And cost me less than moving brothers original quote including a 40% tip. NEVER give this company your business. They will leave you up a creek without a paddle without so much as an apology. I'm grateful they requested cash payment and didn't require a deposit as they will never get a penny from me. I will tell anyone and everyone I know to avoid this company!

He did not…read morehave the boxes at his location, but could get them from across town and I would have them by 11 am the next morning. The next day no boxes yet at 1 pm, called to follow-up and see if there was an address issue or whatnot. Spoke to Martin who was snarky. Did not know why Terry would give an ETA, his driver was out on the road and did not have a GPS so he didn't know where he was (I dunno, can't call him on his cell?) and I should have them within the hour. He also shared some personal information about Terry, which was not at all necessary. Needless to say, the boxes never arrived and we received no call. So, we called Terry on Monday morning and he stated that the boxes are on backorder and will be at least a week. Canceled order and will not be calling again.

I've been nothing but pleased with their dependable service. In fact everything has been working so well I really thought I was a valued customer. This should be a 5-star review... Now the bad news. Twice now I've received rude and unprofessional service from the person who answers the phone at Denver Boxes. It was the same person both times. The first time I gave him the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe he was having a bad day. However today his attitude was so rude I've decided I can no longer do business with this company. "Customer service" seems to be a foreign word with this individual. Additionally he seems to be the only person that answers the phone and he fiercely controls access to anyone else. My requests to speak with any other person were flat-out denied. I have met the owner of this company and he seemed like a nice and professional person. I hope he knows his floor manager is reactive, short-tempered and actively encouraging customers to do business with other companies. Apparently I'm not a valued customer after all. In summary if you are ok placing orders via email, fax, or voicemail, with little to no contact with a human being, then Denver Boxes should work just fine. However you may want a backup box company ready - just in case you are treated so unprofessionally you have to cut all ties with Denver Boxes.

I can't recommend them highly enough. Showed up on time. Never took a break (dint even take a lunch) exceptionally polite and considerate to me and my things, and honestly just CRANKED through the move with good attitudes and can do spirits. And if you saw what they had to move, they had every reason not to be excited about it..... This move included a 90 inch oval solid marble table, a exceptionally heavy (300lbs plus) solid wood credenza, 2 EXCEPTIONALLY HEAVY AND AWKWARD Tempur-pedic 'grand bed' CalKing mattresses, a 400 pound coffee table, a SOLID MARBLE lamp, and two large format pieces of art (read 9ftx9ft) of exceptionally high value.... just to name a few things. All made the move safe and sound. Not only that, but most of these pieces had to be carried down 2 flights of stairs of levels with 15 foot ceilings. I'm decently strong....but these guys were on a whole different level. It was amazing to watch. I can't speak to the reviewer saying things were stolen, but I can tell you that the guys that showed up at my house were are as straight, kind, and honest as anyone could be. Trusted them100%. If you're looking for a mover, give these guys your business. Prices were so reasonable that for the exceptional service I received, I tipped an additional 40%. 100% worth it.
