Very transparent about the price estimate for the service and arrival time, the movers Martin and Eimantas were both very professional and communicative throughout the moving process. Some tasks like moving large furniture out of the second floor were complicated, but they could handle them with great care. tldr:NEVER hire this company!! Hands down the worst experience with a moving company I have ever had. They showed up 5 hours late, yelled at me that I gave them a bad quote and refused to do my move which ended up costing me THOUSANDS. And spoiler, another company did the job in the time I was originally quoted by these people and for half the price. As a woman moving alone, these movers made me incredibly uncomfortable in the short time they were in my home. I called and got a quote over the phone. This was not unusual to me as I've only ever gotten phone quotes for moving and have never had issues in the past. I was quoted 2.5-3 hours with 3 movers. I called 5 other companies in the area and received similar quotes, I chose this company due to their availability. I scheduled my move for 4 days before I needed to be out of my place. They were scheduled to arrive between 12-3pm. At 3pm, I was told their morning job was taking much longer than anticipated but they should arrive within the hour. At 4pm I received a text from the team letting me know they were an HOUR AND A HALF away and would be stopping for food on their way. I contacted the "manager" and was assured they would be able to complete my move that day. The team showed up at 5:30pm, 5.5 hours late and I have never had movers be more disrespectful and demeaning toward me. My home was clean, fully boxed, and ready to be loaded. For $210/hour I was not about to waste time. They walked through my home to assess everything and Tyler, who is supposedly the best they have, was rude and disrespectful every step of the way. He yelled at me that there was no way they could do the move in the time quoted. Given that their morning job took 4-5 hours longer than anticipated, whoever is quoting jobs clearly doesn't know what they're doing. I was alone and the way their team treated me in my home made me incredibly uncomfortable, they yelled at me that I wasted their time, they drove to Fort Collins from Denver and their cars were in a storage unit in Denver that closed at 9pm. Even if they completed the job in the minimum quoted time, they still wouldn't have made it back to Denver in time to collect their vehicles so I don't see how that was my problem but he sure made it my problem. Tyler told me the move would take a team of 4 movers at least 7 hours to complete. To be clear, this was a two bedroom townhome, not a 5 bedroom house. As I was about to throw them out of my home for being so demeaning and disrespectful, they offered to step out and call their manager. At 6pm I received a call from the manager who told me the team claimed there were 150 boxes in my home and they would not be doing the move. When I argued that was absolutely not the case (i counted and there were 56 boxes, 6 large, 15 medium, 25 small, and 10 plastic tubs) I was told he didn't know who to believe...um excuse me?!? He offered to reschedule for another day at more than DOUBLE my initial quote. After the experience his "best guy" had to offer, there was no way I would ever agree to pay them even my original quote let alone $1800?! I told him this was unacceptable and explained the financial impact, all I got was "sorry, we wish you the best of luck with your move" after wasting 6 hours of my time and costing me thousands. This was a huge waste of my time and costly. I deliberately scheduled the move on my day off with several days after to do final small things and clean before handing over keys. A new tenant was scheduled to move in shortly after. Because of this company's laziness and incompetence, I had to pay an additional month rent and the next tenant's move was also impacted. I am truly beside myself at what a horrible experience this was. Now for the kicker - I hired another company to do my move the following week. I hired two movers and anticipated an 8 hour move due to what I was told by this team. I was genuinely afraid to do the walkthrough given what happened with moving brothers. I explained what happened and the new quote I was given and the new movers laughed. They said this team took too long at their job in the morning, ate and sat in the truck for an hour, and when they showed up they were tired or lazy and simply didn't want to do the job. They said the 7 hour quote was an FU to me since they drove up to Fort Collins. It took the new movers FOUR HOURS TOTAL. And cost me less than moving brothers original quote including a 40% tip. NEVER give this company your business. They will leave you up a creek without a paddle without so much as an apology. I'm grateful they requested cash payment and didn't require a deposit as they will never get a penny from me. I will tell anyone and everyone I know to avoid this company! read more

Having never used movers before, Moving Brothers has certainly set a high standard to beat! Their pricing is very reasonable, with 2 1/2 hour minimum and incremental charges for every 15 minutes after. We love that they only charge from when they start moving our stuff to finish moving our stuff. And there are no hidden fees or surprise costs. The staff was very responsive and communicative and clear while getting us set up. And our movers, Willie and Odera, were super efficient and fast and very careful with all of our belongings. Not to mention very kind and respectful! We live on the second story and don't have an elevator, and it was no problem. Can't recommend this company highly enough. I was a little nervous when I was looking for movers because I had never hired any before. When I first reached out, I was happy to see the detailed list of questions they had and the specific tips they had to help make the moving day as smooth as possible, and it absolutely was. They told me the crew would be there between 8 and 8:30 am and they were there at 8:15. They called me when they were 15 minutes away to give me a heads up, and they came very prepared with loads of equipment like door stops and dollys and mattress lifters. Honestly my favorite part of hiring them was how they handled the only major problem we had; I was quoted a rate for three movers, and only two showed up at 8:15. When I asked if they were the only ones coming, they said they were told it was a two man job. When they looked at the paperwork they brought, they saw that the scheduler made the mistake of only telling two movers to come because the paperwork we looked at together said 3. They very quickly remedied the mistake in two ways: 1. They called to see if there was a third mover available to come ASAP, which there was and he did 2. They clocked the time between their initial arrival and the arrival of the third mover and charged it at a discounted rate. Mistakes happen, especially with a project as big as a move. Perfection is not the goal and it should not be the expectation, but everyone I interacted with from Moving Brothers was fantastically helpful and they handled the misstep with grace and smooth professionalism. Other than that, the move was extremely smooth. The three movers, Isaiah (I believe his coworkers called him "Zay"), Greg, and Jose worked so quickly and were strategically prepared for loading their truck with a glacial paced elevator between my apartment and their truck. Then they nailed the task of unloading a ton of stuff up a small staircase. I couldn't be happier with their work. I have to say as well, to anyone looking for movers, make sure you are prepared for movers. The day before my move I measured my bedframe and saw that it would not fit in the staircase at the move destination, so I disassembled it. Like I said, Moving Brothers has a great list of move preparation tips and you should follow them, even if you're not hiring Moving Brothers (which I definitely recommend). read more

They were responsive to my questions leading to the move, reached out proactively to re-confirm a couple of days in advance, and arrived precisely on time on moving day. Bottom line, both quotes were on target within the range I expected (about half of what one of their leading competitors quoted). But the best part was that both crews were fantastic! These guys did a great job moving some houshold furnature and packed boxes from my house in Park Hill to a condo in Capital Hill. They were only off by 15 minutes in the time quoted. There price was competitive. I liked that their clock started when they arrive at the pickup point and not when the truck leaves its home base. The two man crew was very professional and very skilled in maneuvering a large three cushion sofa through a small door opening in the condo. No damage to any of the items. They were very careful in securing my 65 inch TV. They were FAST and really hustled in moving items. No time standing around. BLUFF - fair pricing, exceptional service. Don't hire anyone else. The ONLY negative I can say about Moving Brothers is that we were very clear that our road could not handle a truck longer than 20'. The guys who moved us had not been told about that and brought a 26' truck. It was very tricky, but they made it work. Now that that's out of the way - I found Moving Brothers on Yelp while looking up reviews on a competitor that we almost hired. The competitor is someone we see around town all the time, but the reviews scared me away but good. Looking for another moving company I saw MB and the reviews were great. The service however is infinitely better than the reviews. We had two movers who were exceptionally professional and incredibly respectful. Not respectful as in polite, although they were that as well - respectful of our furniture and our home. Everything was wrapped for protection, and the movers exhibited caution at every step. Don't get me wrong, they were very efficient. But efficiency does not require cutting corners when doing so damages the sheet rock or scuffs the paint. These guys did everything right.
