Now, months later, they've decided to double my monthly storage rate without any meaningful explanation. The contacted rates of $75/mo per 30 square foot "vault" were already on the high end of climate controlled storage costs. The new $150/mo is unethical gouging. After investing so much, I expected honesty and accountability. Instead, I've been met with poor communication and shifting prices. I would not recommend EZ Moving for anyone looking for reliable long-term storage or customer service that stands behind its work.

The correspondence leading up to and after the move was stellar and the pricing was extremely fair. Only drawback: - They shrink wrapped all the big/major items (i.e. mattresses, wooden bookshelf, antique desk, dresser, etc.). I'm used to packers putting mattresses in a mattress cover and wrapping the other items in a moving blanket and THEN wrapping it in shrink wrap, but it was a short move (17 mins across town) and all of our things arrived safe and sound with no damage, so I won't complain.

I paid this company over $750 and the entire experience was a complete disaster from start to finish. First of all, the workers they sent could barely speak or understand English, which made communication extremely difficult the entire time. I would give simple instructions about what needed to be moved and what needed to be left alone, and they clearly did not understand or follow directions. The pace they worked at was unbelievable. At one point they were literally carrying things one pillow at a time up the stairs. Something that should have taken a short amount of time dragged on forever because they were moving so slowly and inefficiently. They also tried to move things that I specifically told them not to touch, while at the same time refusing to properly move items that I actually needed moved. I ended up having to help them myself and repeatedly explain how to do basic parts of the job. On top of that, they were extremely careless with my belongings. They dropped items and broke two of my televisions during the move. When you hire movers, you expect them to protect your things, not destroy them. To make matters even worse, when I later went through my storage unit I discovered that not everything had been moved out like it was supposed to be. Items were left behind and several of my power tools are now missing. At this point I have serious concerns that some of my property may have been stolen. After charging me over $750 for this horrible service, the company has now completely stopped responding to me. I have tried contacting them multiple times about the damages and the missing items, and they will not return my calls or messages. Because of the broken property, missing tools, and the overall negligence during the move, I am actively pursuing legal action against this company. If you value your belongings, your time, and your money, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this company.
