I had hired another mover to help me move several large items from a storage unit to a house. They contacted me when they were supposed to show up at the storage unit, after I had already rented a U-haul, saying someone had called in sick and it would take them at least three hours to get there. They then texted me that they would be even longer and suggested I find someone else. After being told by a number of movers there was no way they could help on such short notice, I called Around the Clock Movers and they came to my rescue. The most dishonest group of people for moving in Dallas. I was given a quote for a one bedroom move from Dallas to Frisco. Buyer beware. They quote you one pride but the day of the move I was presented with a bill that was twice the quoted price!!! I would not use their service because they have no sense of honor. The person quoting named Billy Cole refused to provide me with an itemized bill. When I brought up the quote it is like it did not exist. A friend of mine recommended Around the Clock Movers, and I couldn't have been happier with their service! We had a new infant, so I hired them for the full service pack and move. They were incredibly professional and excellent communicators, I knew what was happening each step throughout the process. Each of their movers were incredibly friendly and personable, and very very good at their job. Everything was wrapped with care to avoid damage and was packed carefully and methodically into the truck. It was also in the 90's the day we moved and they worked tirelessly without a single complaint. We were worried about getting some of our furniture into our new home as we had some tight squeezes, but they were amazing and were able to get everything where it needed to go. We did have a few minor damages to a couple of small items, but nothing unexpected for a move this size. They were fantastic though and offered to compensate us for any of the damages, no matter how small. Hired Around the Clock Movers for a move from Denver down to the Springs. They did a great job. They showed up right on time and had all the packing material and equipment needed for the move. I had already packed everything so they just had to load all the furniture and boxes. They were very time efficient and wasted no time. Once everything was loaded they drove straight there and unloaded it all. Everything was in perfect condition at the other end and they made sure to put the boxes in the correct room. "Your house was completely filthy and we take no responsibility for anything concerning your TV over a week after we completed the clean. You guys are ridiculous trying to blame us for stuff we had nothing to do with. The $10 book-shelf I came and tightened up for you wasn't even our fault. It was already damaged and in horrible condition like everything else in your home. We did not wipe the TV or damage it in anyway and at this point we take no responsibility for anything in your home. Our business is concluded. Please stop contacting me." This was the response I received from the manager after I had confronted him and their business on the following issues: - Destroying my child's $40 bookshelf and not telling us, putting it right back in his room propped up against the wall. - Throwing out several items that we never told them to throw out, such as my wife's makeup box and the plastic clip to our wooden blinds' veneer - Peeling the protective screen cover off our $1500 TV and using a normal rag to wipe the screen down, leaving hundreds of small scratches and swirl marks directly on the screen, without ever asking us if it was okay to do so in the first place. - Letting our cat run out the house 5 times by leaving the front door wide open, even though we told them multiple times to close the door. Not once did they apologize. How on earth could a business reply to a client with such a boorish response such as the one they gave me here? After I discovered what they had done to our TV and notified the manager on how dissatisfied I was with their service, responding in the same tone I am using to write this review, the quoted block of text above is what I got back. They advertised their business as one that not only performs moving services, but cleaning services as well. We are a family of 2 full time working adults and a 3 year old child. If our house wasn't dirty or unorganized, we wouldn't have called for a cleaning service. That's like asking for a doctor who only sees healthy patients. And to say our house was "filthy" and our belongings were "damaged and in horrible condition"? Excuse me?!!! I don't care how you felt about our home, to state such an insulting remark after I had paid you for your services is appalling! At first I thought the negative reviews were simply irrational, but now I see that I should have been wary of them. Unprofessional and terrible in every sense of the word. I did a short local move in Denver in September 2021. I had an estimate over the phone and Phillip came the day before my move to "prep" for Dre and his team to do the move the next day. They were friendly, competent and got the job done without incident. Not very efficient or fast but I expected that since I was paying by the hour. I was charged $800 more than my original estimate. Not a problem since it is called an "estimate". The problem was I was overcharged in hours by 1.5 hours and when I called and talked to the Owner Phillip he said he agreed and would refund me for an hour. I never received a refund. I have waited 2 months before I wrote this review and repeatedly asked via call and email for the promised 1 hour refund $. Never received. My warning: read the final paperwork, especially the time and record when they arrive, go to lunch and leave. I trusted and didn't look at the numbers at the end of a long move day. read more

I used this company for my move back in February and thought they did a great job. I was moving from downtown Denver, needed to make a stop at a storage unit to load up more of my stuff, and then moving into a new home in Aurora. The guys that helped me during my move did an amazing job! They were friendly, were a lot faster than I was expecting (even considering that they were wrapping up my furniture to help protect it and walls), and didn't leave a scratch on my furniture or walls. They also were more affordable than other moving companies that gave me a quote. Along with the several unfortunate moving issues (Damaged/broken furniture not reported to me and feces left in a toilet for days when one of the workers broke the toilet lever and did not tell me about), I am extremely disappointed with Around the Clock Movers (ATCM) owners who have failed and stopped communicating with me in order to resolve the most recent issues I had with their company. Throughout the last several months, I have made several attempts to work with the owner's, but they now have put me on their ignore list. My major issues with the company are the following: 1) Charged me for an extra mover that was not needed 2) They charged me for their worker's lunch time. In regards to me not paying for their workers lunch time, the owner of the company has made numerous unwarranted insults against me regarding this issue, but I will not go into what he said at this time. Pertaining to my two moves performed by ATCM and to be forthright, overall they have a couple of mover's who work really hard, and I am thankful for their work. On the flip side, they did have/had a couple of mover's who were not motivated and stood around a lot in which I paid for that time. That being said, my main concern and problem is with the owners of the company. Originally when I brought up my concerns, I was completely ignored by one of the owners. Because my concerns were not addressed and ignored, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Denver to try to resolve this issue. Currently, ATCM is not accredited with the BBB which makes resolving any issues difficult, because ATCM does not have to follow the BBB guidelines regarding resolution options. When I filed my original complaint, one of the owners did respond finally. After numerous insults to my character in his response, he did offer partial compensation and did agree that I should not have been charged for the sixth worker, but he did not agree to compensate me for charges I incurred when I was charged for their lunch break. Because I did not get compensated for paying for his worker's lunch time, I rejected his original offer. After I rejected his original offer and countered his initial response, ATCM's owners no longer responded to the Better Business Bureau Complaint and no longer wanted to resolve this issue. In order to try to resolve this issue and to be fair, I asked ATCM if they would like to arbitrate the matter, and they ignored that request as well. As far as the BBB goes, the BBB closed my complaint as unresolved and dropped ATCM letter grade from A+ to A-, since they failed to respond and cooperate. If you would like to get the specific details of my complaint with ATCM, I highly recommend you go to the BBB website and search for ATCM, so you can see all the correspondence and how the owner originally responded as well as a glimpse at what his character is like. You can then make your own decision to see who was right and wrong in this matter but more importantly you can see if this is a company that you would want to hire based on some of my issues I had with them. At the minimum, you can at least address these issues and ask them how they are going to prevent these types of problems happening on your move. My personal recommendation to prevent matters like this from happening is to consider BBB accredited moving companies, because you at least have some recourse against the company if there is a problem. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way by not acquiring a BBB accredited company. Live and learn I guess. Moving on and after they ignored my BBB complaint and arbitration request, I sent them another email to their business email address in which they did not respond. Currently and since the BBB closed the case, my only other option is to go to Small Claims court to try to get reimbursed in which I will do unless they can resolve our differences. The sad reality of the situation is the owner did offer to reimburse me for the sixth unneeded person but unfortunately he did not honor his word and reimburse me for that amount at least. He is also unwilling to reimburse me for being charged for his workers lunch time even when he said his worker's should not get paid for lunch time. I am still hopeful the owners will do the right thing and reimburse for what is owed to me but if they do not, we might as well set up a date for Small Claims Court. To sum up my experience with ATCM, I would say overall the workers are fairly good, but if you run into any problems and have issues where the owner's need to get involved, that is where the difficulties may begin. Lastly and based on past insults one of the owner's made against me already and insults to other publishers of negative reviews against their company, I would not be surprised to be attacked on my review as well. If he does, that will be an indicator of his character for you to determine if this is someone you would want to work with in the future. read more

This is the third time in several years that we've used Around the Clock movers and the service has always been exceptional. They sent three guys who were ready to work and they really got our stuff moved into the storage facility in record time. Everyone showed up in shirts that said "We got this" and they really did. My ONLY complaint is that they tried to give us a fee for using a debit card when they requested a deposit via credit or debit to begin with. There was no warning and honestly, who carries a checkbook nowadays? A little warning before the movers arrived would have been appreciated. ATCM handled my move from Denver to the Washington DC area. They were extremely professional and efficient from start to finish. They loaded all of the items from my three bedroom house in Denver in about 2.5 hours, including careful wrapping of pictures, tv's, and furniture, as well as disassembly of furniture where needed. They then delivered everything to my new house in the DC area exactly when they said they would (literally 3 days after picking up the stuff in Denver) with no damage to anything. They reassembled my furniture and unloaded the truck in DC in another 3 hours, and that was it. Their prices were more competitive compared to the larger moving companies, and they offered the added benefit of always having a specific person to text and ask questions, etc. I would highly, highly recommend them for a local move or a long distance move. read more

My husband and I moved from Colorado to Massachusetts. We booked them after reading all the good reviews online, even though they charge more than other big long distance companies. We were extremely happy with their service. Their timeline was great. They picked up our stuff on a Wednesday and delivered them on Sunday, so 4 days. The big companies we got price quotes from were about $1000 or more cheaper but they had a huge range of delivery dates.. somewhere between a week to two weeks. We figured if they really stretched out the move to 2 weeks our hotel fees would add up to make up the difference. There were a couple of times where we felt the communication could be better.. but once they (Phil and co) came to move us, they were professional and took excellent care of our stuff.
