Interstate moves are no bloody joke. Exhausting, stressful, and intense! After interviewing 5 different movers in Denver (large haul and smaller companies) we selected Movemasters as the best choice for us. Their reviews were untouchable and for good reason! The larger companies tended to outsource work to other small movers that had terrible reviews or thin histories, and the risk of unknown players employing random hirelings was not worth a marginally lower price. Our piece of mind in knowing that a single crew would be accountable for the entire job was crucial. It was great for us to build a rapport with one team who both picked up our whole house and delivered it to in Vegas. We had lots of vintage furniture and art, and we knew we needed some extra help to ensure that items were carefully wrapped, stacked, and packed onto the truck. I have never seen such a complete lack of professionalism from a moving company. The crew blocked resident parking spaces and prevented me from accessing my own vehicle. Instead of taking responsibility and immediately moving the truck, they acted as though I was somehow the problem for asking to access my assigned parking space. Let me be clear: if you block someone's vehicle, you are the problem. The resident who needs to leave is not. The fact that I had to track people down and ask them to move their truck in the first place is ridiculous. The fact that I was met with attitude afterward is even worse. What took this from an inconvenience to a serious concern was the behavior after I requested access to my vehicle. Members of the crew began taking photos and videos around my vehicle and residence. I found that intimidating, unnecessary, and completely unprofessional. Moving companies work around residents every day. There is no excuse for blocking people in, creating a confrontation when asked to move, and then behaving in a manner that makes residents uncomfortable. If this is how they treat people who simply need access to their own parking space, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for moving services. This was one of the most unprofessional interactions I have had at my apartment complex, and I believe both the company and the property management should take this behavior seriously. read more

I honestly don't know why anyone would use anybody BUT Movemasters. This is the 4TH time I have used them in the last 16 years. Always on time, always SUPER reliable. Always take care of your belongings as if they're theirs. This time I used them for a long distance move from Denver to Las Vegas. Noah and Augie along with EJ and Max on the Denver end were great. In Las Vegas the temperature was well over 100° and the A/C was out in the unit but Noah and Augie performed in that sweltering heat with no issues. When I knew I was making a long distance move I called Brian first at Movemasters. Damian came out and gave me a competitive quote vs the long distance companies. PLUS I got MY OWN truck with ONLY my stuff. Pickup AND delivery EXACTLY on time. Not a ridiculous 4-7 day delivery window of the national chains, who by the way farm everything out to second party vendors. NOT Movemasters. They use THEIR employees....They are worth your business at TWICE the price, even though they were within a couple % of the shitty, and I'm being nice, about national chains. We used MoveMasters twice now- once to move within the same building, and once to load our pods for our move across the country from Denver to North Carolina, and for both scenarios they were absolute rockstars. This most recent move was a nightmare, and Movemasters was an absolute gem that made it possible. For this move, we hired them to load our two bedroom apartment into Upack pods. Well there were MANY snafus (beware Upack, but that's a different review) and Movemasters was able to be flexible and worked with me to make sure the job got done. We also discovered that the two pods we had were NOT adequate for the amount of things we had but Tanner and his team made the most of the space and packed our items SO well, it ALL made it to our new place, with ZERO casualties. Everyone at Movemasters is professional, respectful and a joy to work with. Having had experiences with other moving companies that were the exact opposite, I cannot recommend them enough!! If I had a nickel for every time, the owner or the movers said "No Problem" I would've had enough money to pay for the job. Can you move it from Friday to Tuesday, no problem. Can you put that in the garage, no problem. Wait no can you put it on the truck? No problem. OK can you change the loveseat and the chair to the opposite positions? No problem. Can you take the refrigerator from my new home and put it in the garage? No problem. Can you take the furniture I don't want and put it in my old garage so charity can pick it up? No problem. No wait I want to take that with me I changed my mind! no problem. they came just a little bit over the quote but that's because I changed my mind while they were moving. And the movers were trying to help me they're asking are you sure we can't take this? I wish I'd listen to them more because they knew what they were doing. regardless it was an excellent experience from inquiry to execution. They wrapped everything and packed it well. I moved from a two bedroom townhome to a three bedroom single-family, from Lakewood to Thornton. Trust me, they can move a whole house. I wasn't going to post a review but after a friend of mine almost went with them because of their great reviews, I needed to warn people and say something. I am going to start off by saying after I expressed all my feedback to the business, they did give me a little bit off my final price but the stress of this whole situation wasn't even worth a penny. First off - they came two hours late, I guess they overbooked their staff and under estimated the time for previous moves. Second - they came with two college kids, a giant truck they were not able to drive (nor did we need this large of a truck) and NO DOLLY. The move itself was a mess. ONE of the two boys that were there "helped" my boyfriend and his dad (who we had to call for help last minute after we realized we were in a seriously bad position with this company) move things while the other kid sat in the truck just chatting with me as I carried things into the truck and he was pretending to rearrange things in a truck that was bigger than the apartment we were moving out of. I watched these two boys struggle to move mg kind size mattress that I have moved myself. I hired movers to help with the stress of moving and because I am not supposed to be lifting things. This situation created more stress, causes my back to flair up, and cost us money because they broke and damaged a good majority of our furniture including our entertainment stand that we WATCHED one guy break and he just goes "oh ops...." They scratched our dresser and a few other things and it got to the point where I just sent them home and we moved everything ourself from the street. They had no rhythm or experience moving things, I had to tell them and instruct them on what to do and they still didn't listen. Instead of moving everything out of the truck they parking blocking anyone from getting in the garage, putting it tot the elevator and then assembly lining it out and in - they wanted to slowly take one piece at a time up the elevator and to the apartment while their truck was blocking traffic. This was the WORST experience I have EVER HAD. It would have been cheaper and less stressful to hire and uhaul and do it ourselves because that's pretty much what happened anyway. I would strongly urge anyone to not use this company. This was the worst experience I've ever had with movers. read more

We used Movemasters for a recent move from Brighton, CO to Parker, CO, and we will not be using anyone else for moving going forward. I highly recommend them ! They showed up on time with two trucks and four very competent men who (to my surprise) didn't even use a hand truck or dolly for loading, because they felt it would just slow them down. Their communication was prompt and frequent when there were questions, and they were extremely professional. Since we were moving into a new Condo, we had discussed that they were not allowed to use a dolly or hand truck in the Condo, although they could use one up to the front door. They informed me that it was their policy not to use mechanical help in a house or condo -- period. They quoted me a fair price, and came in under that price -- we ended up paying less, as the move was easier than anticipated. As a rule, I generally don't give 5 star reviews -- but this firm deserves it! They called the day before to make sure we still wanted to move, and contract only came into play when we confirmed to move forward 24 hours in advance. We didn't see any damage whatsoever due to this move, and they treated everything like it was theirs. I only wish I had used them for the move from our house to storage. read more

Made an appointment to do an estimate via Facetime. They called my phone and it rang once then they hung up before I could answer it. They did not leave a message or even attempt to call back. I emailed them immediately to tell them I was waiting, then they sent ME an email a while later saying they couldn't get ahold of me. I was sitting waiting for them to call back for 25 minutes. I wasted an hour of my day traveling to the location and back and waiting on them. I assume they'll treat my belongings with as much disregard as they treat my time. read more

MoveMasters came through in a pinch when I was really needing prertty quick moving help. I signed a lease on 6/29 & confirmed my move with them on 7/9. They provided a pretty accurate quote based on the furniture I advised I was moving, and overall their communication was great! On my move day, Braxton & Matt called before they were on their way & were so sweet to work with when they arrived. They were super efficient & finished way more than I thought they would in the time they did! They did hurry a little too much at first & made a couple damages to the wood floor floor + stairs of my old loft. At my new place, they did a much better job and didn't cause any damage there. They took pictures & sent them to their head office to fix. I had to call the office a couple times but finally got their fix-it handyman out, and he did a great job with the little repairs. I do not have adequate time today to post the entire review so later on in the week, I will write everything out in order to inform everyone of the illegal practices that are taking place at this establishment. I will be filing a lawsuit because they are refusing to speak with me about the damage that they caused to a $3000. 70-year-old vintage wicker peacock chair due to pure negligence and ignoring my request of how it needed to be loaded, etc. I have tried numerous times to give them the opportunity to fix this and they refuse. Damien began to research me and my company when I sent the evidence photos to his email while doxing me and telling me that I needed to learn a lesson. According to him, he is an owner. And according to my attorney, what he said on the phone was harassment and so that is going to be included in the lawsuit. As I've stated, I've given them ample chances to fix this and they just keep hanging up on me. After what was said to me when I was just trying to hold them accountable shows the kind of shady practices this company stands by. I was told I was going to receive a call from a different owner named Dan and he refuses to call me and as I stated, they refuse to answer my phone calls and keep hanging up on me.
