Interstate moves are no bloody joke. Exhausting, stressful, and intense! After interviewing 5 different movers in Denver (large haul and smaller companies) we selected Movemasters as the best choice for us. Their reviews were untouchable and for good reason! The larger companies tended to outsource work to other small movers that had terrible reviews or thin histories, and the risk of unknown players employing random hirelings was not worth a marginally lower price. Our piece of mind in knowing that a single crew would be accountable for the entire job was crucial. It was great for us to build a rapport with one team who both picked up our whole house and delivered it to in Vegas. We had lots of vintage furniture and art, and we knew we needed some extra help to ensure that items were carefully wrapped, stacked, and packed onto the truck. I have never seen such a complete lack of professionalism from a moving company. The crew blocked resident parking spaces and prevented me from accessing my own vehicle. Instead of taking responsibility and immediately moving the truck, they acted as though I was somehow the problem for asking to access my assigned parking space. Let me be clear: if you block someone's vehicle, you are the problem. The resident who needs to leave is not. The fact that I had to track people down and ask them to move their truck in the first place is ridiculous. The fact that I was met with attitude afterward is even worse. What took this from an inconvenience to a serious concern was the behavior after I requested access to my vehicle. Members of the crew began taking photos and videos around my vehicle and residence. I found that intimidating, unnecessary, and completely unprofessional. Moving companies work around residents every day. There is no excuse for blocking people in, creating a confrontation when asked to move, and then behaving in a manner that makes residents uncomfortable. If this is how they treat people who simply need access to their own parking space, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for moving services. This was one of the most unprofessional interactions I have had at my apartment complex, and I believe both the company and the property management should take this behavior seriously. read more

I wrote and texted with Dan, Damien, and Donna. I was assured that they were skilled and experienced at helping women in DV situations get out quickly and safely. Absolutely false. What they left out is how they'll exploit you if you are vulnerable in any way at all. If you are a woman, steer clear of this company. If you are someone that cannot easily move boxes they just throw anywhere, steer clear of this company. I had heavy boxes labeled garage that were put in the loft. If you are hoping for an honorable company that will do what they say they will do, steer clear of this company. If you are hoping that at the end of the day you'll have a bed set up to sleep upon, steer clear of this company. My bed was in three different places, behind boxes I could not lift if I wanted. They damaged the landlord's property and did nothing about it. I found several items broken with the pieces just chucked nearby. They laughed and were jovial and careless, acting like it was all some circus act. It was so disturbing and I felt I could do nothing. If you are hoping they will be honorable when you see several items broken without any accountability, steer clear of this company. They do not honor any sort of recompense or repair. If you are expecting a company to fully deliver into your new location every item they have loaded, steer clear of this company because they steal your belongings. There is no recompense. They are verbally abusive. They are not professional. My intention was to hire Organized by Kelli after the move to help me get everything settled in quickly. Couldn't for two reasons. First, Dan said he called them and told them I was unreasonable in an attempt to bully and gaslight me. Second, I had to hire another moving company several times just to help me fix their incompetence. It was expensive. It was all darn day. It was a completely unprofessional situation that left me tailspinning in a trauma cycle. I didn't even know fully all they had taken until I moved again and still couldn't find my things. This is a fraudulent company. I cannot believe for a second they have an authentic 4.7 rating. Absolutely do yourself a favor and steer clear. This is our second move with MoveMasters and they are simply "The Best". For the first time we had packing done and I'll never go back to packing myself. Drake, Sebastian and Benny did our packing and they were efficient, professional and not a thing was broken on the other end! On moving day we had Jake, Adam W, Tristan, Joel and Jackson. What a great group of guys. They played fun music, no foul language, very polite and put down all the floor protection in the new place so that there were no scrapes, dings. We used MoveMasters twice now- once to move within the same building, and once to load our pods for our move across the country from Denver to North Carolina, and for both scenarios they were absolute rockstars. This most recent move was a nightmare, and Movemasters was an absolute gem that made it possible. For this move, we hired them to load our two bedroom apartment into Upack pods. Well there were MANY snafus (beware Upack, but that's a different review) and Movemasters was able to be flexible and worked with me to make sure the job got done. We also discovered that the two pods we had were NOT adequate for the amount of things we had but Tanner and his team made the most of the space and packed our items SO well, it ALL made it to our new place, with ZERO casualties. Everyone at Movemasters is professional, respectful and a joy to work with. Having had experiences with other moving companies that were the exact opposite, I cannot recommend them enough!! I have extremely huge/heavy furniture including a family heirloomed mirror that weighs around 300 lb & is 8 ft tall 5 ft wide that they moved into my third floor stair walk up condo! They were punctual on time communicating with me in the morning before arriving. They were courteous and cared about any of my questions or concerns. I wasn't going to post a review but after a friend of mine almost went with them because of their great reviews, I needed to warn people and say something. I am going to start off by saying after I expressed all my feedback to the business, they did give me a little bit off my final price but the stress of this whole situation wasn't even worth a penny. First off - they came two hours late, I guess they overbooked their staff and under estimated the time for previous moves. Second - they came with two college kids, a giant truck they were not able to drive (nor did we need this large of a truck) and NO DOLLY. The move itself was a mess. ONE of the two boys that were there "helped" my boyfriend and his dad (who we had to call for help last minute after we realized we were in a seriously bad position with this company) move things while the other kid sat in the truck just chatting with me as I carried things into the truck and he was pretending to rearrange things in a truck that was bigger than the apartment we were moving out of. I watched these two boys struggle to move mg kind size mattress that I have moved myself. I hired movers to help with the stress of moving and because I am not supposed to be lifting things. This situation created more stress, causes my back to flair up, and cost us money because they broke and damaged a good majority of our furniture including our entertainment stand that we WATCHED one guy break and he just goes "oh ops...." They scratched our dresser and a few other things and it got to the point where I just sent them home and we moved everything ourself from the street. They had no rhythm or experience moving things, I had to tell them and instruct them on what to do and they still didn't listen. Instead of moving everything out of the truck they parking blocking anyone from getting in the garage, putting it tot the elevator and then assembly lining it out and in - they wanted to slowly take one piece at a time up the elevator and to the apartment while their truck was blocking traffic. This was the WORST experience I have EVER HAD. It would have been cheaper and less stressful to hire and uhaul and do it ourselves because that's pretty much what happened anyway. I would strongly urge anyone to not use this company. This was the worst experience I've ever had with movers. read more

From the point of initial contact, to the Covid appropriate virtual walk-through, to signing the contract and tell him that they arrived everything was smooth! Noteworthy point they didn't take a deposit. We have a lot of really large complex pieces of furniture. Move masters were a dream come true! They arrived exactly on time. Moved with velocity. Had smiles on their face and were willing to help in every way possible! They are a finely tuned machine! The team leader was incredible and consistently made sure They'll operate in sync. Any directives that were given were executed without overseeing. It started raining in the last two hours of the move during unloading and not a single thing was damaged. Worth every penny. If I had a nickel for every time, the owner or the movers said "No Problem" I would've had enough money to pay for the job. Can you move it from Friday to Tuesday, no problem. Can you put that in the garage, no problem. Wait no can you put it on the truck? No problem. OK can you change the loveseat and the chair to the opposite positions? No problem. Can you take the refrigerator from my new home and put it in the garage? No problem. Can you take the furniture I don't want and put it in my old garage so charity can pick it up? No problem. We used Movemasters for a recent move from Brighton, CO to Parker, CO, and we will not be using anyone else for moving going forward. I highly recommend them ! They showed up on time with two trucks and four very competent men who (to my surprise) didn't even use a hand truck or dolly for loading, because they felt it would just slow them down. Their communication was prompt and frequent when there were questions, and they were extremely professional. Since we were moving into a new Condo, we had discussed that they were not allowed to use a dolly or hand truck in the Condo, although they could use one up to the front door. They informed me that it was their policy not to use mechanical help in a house or condo -- period. They quoted me a fair price, and came in under that price -- we ended up paying less, as the move was easier than anticipated. As a rule, I generally don't give 5 star reviews -- but this firm deserves it! They called the day before to make sure we still wanted to move, and contract only came into play when we confirmed to move forward 24 hours in advance. We didn't see any damage whatsoever due to this move, and they treated everything like it was theirs. I only wish I had used them for the move from our house to storage. read more

MoveMasters came through in a pinch when I was really needing prertty quick moving help. I signed a lease on 6/29 & confirmed my move with them on 7/9. They provided a pretty accurate quote based on the furniture I advised I was moving, and overall their communication was great! On my move day, Braxton & Matt called before they were on their way & were so sweet to work with when they arrived. They were super efficient & finished way more than I thought they would in the time they did! They did hurry a little too much at first & made a couple damages to the wood floor floor + stairs of my old loft. At my new place, they did a much better job and didn't cause any damage there. They took pictures & sent them to their head office to fix. I had to call the office a couple times but finally got their fix-it handyman out, and he did a great job with the little repairs. Made an appointment to do an estimate via Facetime. They called my phone and it rang once then they hung up before I could answer it. They did not leave a message or even attempt to call back. I emailed them immediately to tell them I was waiting, then they sent ME an email a while later saying they couldn't get ahold of me. I was sitting waiting for them to call back for 25 minutes. I wasted an hour of my day traveling to the location and back and waiting on them. I assume they'll treat my belongings with as much disregard as they treat my time. read more

I had a fantastic experience with my Movemasters move. The guys on my job were communicative, polite, efficient, and respectful. They were running late because of the cold and made sure to let me know. They carefully wrapped all my items and nothing was damaged. They read the boxes and placed them in the appropriate rooms and asked when they weren't sure. They even moved a few things back out to the garage that didn't quite fit in the new location.
