Denver Small Moves - The crew that did our awesome move! - Movers Near Me

I used Denver Small Moves to help me pack up a Upack storage container with furniture and boxes from my home, moving them from the building out to the container. Getting a quote in advance was straightforward, and their pricing was very competitive compared to other quotes that I received. Due to a prior job going unexpectedly longer than expected, they arrived 3-4 hours later than planned, causing me to have to move a dinner reservation. Despite being late, they kept me updated on their ETA, and compensated me by providing an extra worker on their dime to expedite the move (this ended up saving me roughly $200-300 in two extra man hours that I needed). Once they arrived, they were efficient, courteous of my belongings and building, and packed the UPack well. When it arrived at my destination, nothing was broken or damaged. 4/5 stars because of the delay, but they made up for it by adding an extra mover for my job. I would definitely use them again, but would try to schedule for earlier in the day or have nothing else planned that day in the future for flexibility. read more

Both experiences with Denver Small Moves were positive. The guys were professional, followed our direction to a tee, and were fast! The cost is very reasonable in my opinion as well. I highly recommend! read more

Fidel, Matt, and Vidow were absolutely phenomenal! They were so friendly, quick, and careful. Denver snall moves helped us in a pinch, we contacted several moving companies and none responded but Denver Small Moves was prompt and got us scheduled quickly so we can move out in a timely manner. Love these guys, and would definitely request them again if we need moving services. read more

They did a great job, were efficient and friendly. They moved a small apartment of things to our garage. And helped with some ad hoc moving at our house, when we asked, Would recommend. read more

Conrad, George, and Gabriel are These guys were the quickiest, very efficient, safe and very protective group of movers. They moved an entire house in 2hrs and they also wrapped, covered, disassembled, and moved everything from Denver CO to Arizona. ( I will do a follow up review, once they have delivered and set up). They were on time, in and out! Absolutely AMAZING!!! They have movers in all States. I was honored to have met them all. My Cousin was very satisfied thus far, with the movers and their work, as her and I ran errands while they did their thing. We didn't want to be in the way. As they didn't want us to lift a finger which was Nice!!! I recommend using these guys for your out of State move Denver and other States. Very nice and professional crew! Great jobs guys! read more

Amazing Experience with Denver Small Moves! Carlos and his crew of Moises, Fidel and Michael showed up on time, accommodated all our quirky moving needs, were professional and up-beat. What a great team! read more

We had a great experience with Denver Small Moves. John, Matt, and Nachi were very hard working, knowledgeable and friendly. They were on time and very communicative. They helped disassemble and reassemble a couch, and were very good with navigating the tight turns, low garage, and narrow hallways in our new Denver condo. The estimate and scheduling process was quick and easy, they were very responsive. One caveat is that the initial estimate I received for our move definitely underestimated the time it took. Part of that was our fault for not having everything as ready as it could have been, but keep in mind that their hours estimate seems to be a best case scenario. Even though the hours estimate was low, the hourly pricing was transparent and in line with other top moving companies in the area. We would definitely recommend Denver Small Moves especially for smaller/urban spaces and homes. Shout out to John, Matt, and Nachi who were especially great! read more

Had a great experience with Moses and Michael P! They were super fast, worked hard, and helped me set up my new home. Definitely will use them again, if needed! read more

I just had Denver Small Moves do a move of about 2 bdrm and a lot of boxes. Company was easy it communicate with and the movers showed up on time, were super nice, worked hard and finished ahead of the estimated time. They treated all the items carefully and nothing got damaged. Highly recommend! read more

Friendly, personable staff. Movers were very efficient and respectful. Owners or managers very empathetic. Thank you Denver Small Moves.

I highly recommend Denver Small Moves. They moved us from one apartment near Denver to another apartment north of Denver. George, Isaiah, and Nachi were careful, efficient, and considerate. They offered to wrap a vintage sewing machine with a blanket and tape to protect and secure it. Everything survived the move very well, with no damages to property of any kind. They were very hard workers and I would gladly use them again. Ken, the owner, always responded promptly and was very easy to communicate with in a timely manner. read more

Chris, Christopher and Moses were awesome and knocked my move out in no time. Thanks and I highly recommend!

Denver Small Moves was amazing! They were so quick and friendly. Would recommend them to everyone! Such a good value for my move.

I was able to get a quote for a long distance move quickly, and at a fair rate--overall communication was excellent. Load in was on Saturday of Memorial Day and they actually arrived an hour earlier than estimated for unload in Charleston the following Tuesday. The crew on both ends worked hard, with Conrad present at both load in and load out. Great team! read more

Alex, Dylan, and Nick were so great! They were on time, very pleasant, and efficient. I would highly recommend this company and specially these three! read more

I used this place twice for different moves. They moved an upright piano of mine both times and did a great job.

I looked up Yelp reviews before hiring and was looking forward to their service but they broke several things, drove off with the truck full of stuff at our new house and everything went flying. I bought insurance and when I reached out for an itemized bill and to understand what my insurance covered... I got no response. One of the movers was also on speaker with his girlfriend the a lot of time. Did I say ON SPEAKER?! So we could hear her ask "when are you gonna be home" and him say "ugh yeah I know this is taking longer I'll let ya know" and this happened every time she called him. I know our move took longer than expected, but he was on the phone with her and kept asking when he was gonna be home and he sounded like he was frustrated that he was helping us with our move. So unprofessional and made us feel inconvenient even though we were paying for a service I recommend another business unless you're looking for subpar read more

I got quotes from several moving companies. I put in my information that it was 3rd floor no elevator. It gives you the option to check elevator I did not check that box. When I asked is it okay if there is no elevator, he changed the quote and sent an unprofessional response. He says this information isn't available to him on his side, but none of the other companies changed the quote when I double checked. They all said no elevator was fine and didn't send this type of response. Getting this kind of message from the owner was surprising. read more

Mike and Matthew were great to work with. They were on time, had the equipment we needed, efficient and professional!

Was multiple hours late beyond the wide time frame they gave me. Then, a mover didn't listen to what I said and scratched some of the coating off of my wooden piece of furniture and the owner refused to give me any kind of reimbursement for anything. read more

I recently moved with Denver Small Moves for the third time and they were as amazing as ever! Isaiah and Fidel were on time, professional, friendly and took great care of my belongings. Thank you for being a transparent and top notch moving company! read more

This was my second time using Denver Small Moves. I was able to book my move short term and very easily. The movers worked hard and got my things moved quickly and took care with my things. Also they take credit cards as payment which is super convenient because going to the bank to withdraw cash and not knowing exactly how much you'll need for a time based service is anxiety that no one needs. Definitely recommend read more

Carlos, George, and Nick did an awesome job helping with our move. They worked hard and carefully, finishing right within the quoted time. I really believed it would take longer, but they nailed it. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Denver Small Moves to anyone looking for professional movers. Thanks again guys! read more

Kevin & Jorge were incredible. Not only were they on time, very communicative, but they also took tremendous care with my belongings, and were very friendly and sweet. I was somewhat concerned after reading the reviews, but had a nice talk with the owner, Ken, and he reassured me that he had an excellent team together currently, experienced, and I decided to go with them. I'm really glad that I did. I would suggest them for your future move. I'm not a great packer, and almost every box had a breakable in it. The move was very successful. Quote was accurate as well, no hidden fees. Value was worth it! read more

Movers were over an hour late. Damaged multiple things and didn't put anything back together. Many pieces of furniture couldn't be put back together because hardware (screws, brackets etc) were never moved with the furniture. Office manager was extremely rude and dismissive. Movers came extremely under prepared and didn't have enough blankets, plastic wrap, or tape. When I questioned them wrapping my 65in $3000 TV with my couch throw blanket, the lead mover asked "are you going to let me do my job?" Didn't know I was paying almost $1000 to provide my own moving materials. Never heard back from anyone in the office nor the owner even though he commented on my initial review making it seem like he was going to be reaching out. Avoid at all costs read more

They were quick, professional, and careful with moving my items. I highly recommend them if you're moving anywhere downtown

Excellent service. The movers showed up exactly on time and got right to work. They were very polite and handled all of my belongings with care. The move went incredibly quickly which was amazing. This saved me so much time and stress since I was able to move to my new apartment in a few hours and had the rest of the day to take care of other things. I've unpacked everything and found that all of my belongings were still in one piece and not a single thing was damaged. Definitely worth the money. read more

Great moving company! We had to move my 97 year old Mom yesterday and they did a fantastic job! Highly recommended this company!

I'm between 3-4 stars for Denver Small Moves. The owner was super eager to get my business, and the price was in line with other movers, which is why I hired them. However, the two movers that showed up proceeded to make comments about how I had more items than I originally said (which I agreed with and apologized for)... but also, I think many people have more items than expected when moving... especially when booking over a week out and not all items are packed. They request an estimate and furniture - with the assurance that they know it's not fully completed. They knew the size of the place and the furniture moving too - there were more boxes than expected. We did a walk through of my place before they moved with the boxes to go, furniture, etc., and then off they went to move. They did work non-stop, which was noted and appreciated with gratuity. It's not my fault they brought a smaller truck and then had to "Tetris" the truck to get things to fit. But they sure made me feel bad about it multiple times with comments. They also were not the most gentle with my items. I saw my very clearly labeled FRAGILE boxes on the bottom of stacks (a few antique glasses were broken), I saw one fragile box fall off a stack they were moving, some boxes were clearly destroyed from their moving, they didn't put the bed frame back together that they took apart, etc. Some of these items are small, but the others were big enough that I wouldn't hire Denver Small Moves again. read more

The crew worked really hard and did a great job working with multiple stairwells. Kind, respectful and hardworking group.

Great small company that truly cares about their customers. Would definitely use their services again!
