Fantastic movers!! My dad hired them for his move. They really new what they were doing and did a great job of packing and moving his things. They were friendly and professional. By far the best movers I have worked with. It was a long day of moving and they were always positive and moved the last piece in with the same care as the first. On top of it all their price was more than reasonable. I wouldn't bother calling anyone else after this experience. Moving is enough of a pain in the neck already! They made the process a lot better! read more

Customer service contacted me directly and addressed my concerns. Really impressed with the level of customer care they provide.

These guys did a recent cross-country move for me and I'm very pleased. They were on time and efficient and carefully wrapped everything.

The movers dropped a box from a dolly and broke a couple dishes. One of the movers took photos of the broken dishes and said he'd initiate the reimbursement process, but the office didn't do anything until I contacted them about it and exchanged several emails where I answered questions they should have already known the answer to. Not the greatest. read more

I'm not even an hour into my move with Local N Long distance and they already deserve a resounding 5 star. Although they got here a few minutes late, they were highly communicative, polite and hard working upon arrival. Within 45 min all the small boxed items in my 2 bedroom apartment were already loaded in the truck. They are taking the time to wrap every single piece of large furniture in Saran Wrap, a step I feel like most companies cut corners on. Shoutout to Mohamed and Karl with a K for their help ! I will absolutely be using this company for all further moves ! read more

They did a fantastic job! Everything was handled with care and nothing was damaged in any way.

Great work great price great company. Will definitely use them again for future moves. Great staff and customer service.

These guys were professional from the start. The Coordinator who set up the move kept in touch, responded to questions, and gave me a quote they actually stuck to. She stayed in touch to make sure everything was set up and ready. The movers showed up on time and ready to get to business. I had them do a lot of packing before the move and they did a great job. They were careful of everything from the large solid marble dining table to the small crystal glasses. They had to adapt to the situation at the destination location and did a great job. These were 4 Eastern European guys who I would trust with any move. They had to go above and beyond with the crazy big heavy table, and they even found a flaw in the table I didn't know about which they took extra care to ensure nothing negative more happened to the table. I can't recommend them enough. read more

Second time using this company to move my entire apartment. They are so friendly and so efficient. They charge by the hour but are so quick. Honestly, after the second move, I think they will always be my go-to (and I work with movers all over the country for my job). Thank you again!!!! read more

Would happily hire them again. We hired Local & Long Distance Movers last month for our move from Lakewood, CO to Michigan. I've moved cross country 4 times, but it never gets less stressful. We decided to do our own packing this time(I should know better) but wished we had had them pack when it got to the week before. The guys who loaded the truck were so kind, efficient and more helpful than any big company we had used before. The care they put into wrapping and packing furniture was top notch. And the guys were so friendly and funny. We met the driver in Michigan with his helpers and they were fantastic. Went above and beyond. They don't price by weight but by volume. All other big companies go by weight. But LnL mostly use box trucks, which is great if you are moving into a city or area where space for a semi truck can't maneuver. We've had that happen. Big company movers end up transferring your goods to a box truck in a local parking lot to get to your new home, which adds a lot of time and money that you did not expect to pay. So for us, it was what we needed. We would hire this company again. But hopefully we won't be moving cross country again soon. read more

100% recommend LNL! Desmond and Danil managed my move and they were exceptional. They were professional, efficient, and pleasant from start to finish! Thankful for their service!! read more

This is our second time using Local N Long Distance Movers. I used them in October 2023 for a move within the Denver area, and we used them last week moving the rest of our belongings from our 6000+ s.f. home to a new home in Castle Pines. I cannot say enough about how hard the team worked! Completely recommend. They were friendly and professional, they were careful with our belongings, and they were clearly committed to moving everything in the one day. We will use them again. THANK YOU EVERYONE! We gave them each a good tip for the amount of hard work they did all day long, while remaining friendly and fast! Details below. Strength and speed: We had a lot of heavy items, including large furniture, a large safe, gas grill, and a complete home gym with squat rack, 2,000 pounds of plates, 500 lbs of dumbbells, and what felt like 300 boxes. Everything was loaded up quickly and they chose to tackle the worst stuff first, so they wouldn't run out of muscles later! Value: Their pricing model is easy to understand and because they price by the hour plus materials, and they move so fast to disassemble the beds, wrap everything, pack stuff in boxes, load the trucks, move, unload, and put everything back together, we knew we were getting a fair price for the amount of labor involved. Process: PACKING DAY: Mohammed and Yevgeny came to help us pack. We had already done most of the packing, but still it took 8 more hours to help us get everything safely packaged into boxes, disassembled and/or wrapped up for the next day, and to package up some of the more awkward items. They helped us set aside our everyday items so we wouldn't lose track of things like keys, remotes, the coffeemaker, etc. MOVING DAY, 9AM: They arrived a little before our 9am start time. We had a 5 man team loading 2 trucks. Ilkhom, Alex, Sascha, Mohammed, and Yevgeny worked very well and super fast together. They were all strong, efficient, fast, and professional. Watching them load the 700lb safe onto a dolly and getting it up the ramp into the truck was amazing. They moved our heavy gas grill too - it was like a strongman competition, watching 2 or 3 people working together so fast. They got everything from the house loaded up, and headed down to Castle Pines with both trucks. MOVING DAY, 5PM: While 2 men unloaded and started moving items into the new house, staying there to assemble the beds and stuff, the other 3 men came back up to the first house with an empty truck to load everything from the garage. They barely stopped moving for a moment to eat or have water, and we got everything back down to Castle Pines in another couple of hours. Their job was finished around 10PM and they were still just as cheerful and professional as when they had started 13 hours earlier. They walked through the billing with us and stayed to see if we had any other questions. There were only a few minor things we wished had gone differently. A few items were left behind - nothing big, just some hardware for one of the desks, and a couple of boxes, and we moved them ourselves after. We had a miscommunication about one item, whether it was coming or not, and they sided with me, instead of listening to what my husband was telling them in the moment, so he was feeling frustrated. All the kitchen boxes were just marked KIT with no details like dishes or glassware or cuisinart or baking pans etc., so there was a LOT of rummaging around as we were unpacking, to find out which box had which stuff. And lastly, in the chaos of unloading, I'd say about 3% of the items ended up in the wrong rooms on the other end, even though they were marked clearly. So, 97% perfect! That's still an A+. THANKS AGAIN, SEE YOU NEXT TIME! read more

Local N Long Distance Movers | Denver - 700lb safe! Safely in the truck, and arrived on the other end in great condition. - Movers Near Me

This was the best moving experience I have ever had. Courtney was very responsive and helpful in arranging the move. Great price easy to schedule I hope I never have to move again but if I do I would hire again

Great guys very efficient and affordable. Quick in town Denver move, would hire again!

We've just had an incredibly stress-free, very positive experience with the team from LnL. Efficient, pleasant and most importantly knowledgeable about how to fit a lot of oddly shaped furniture pieces and tons of boxes into a PODS container. Highly recommend! read more

Great team, very friendly, hard working, careful with my things. Would recommend to others!

Great movers for doing local move. Very competitive quote and best hourly rate we received on yelp. Pretty sketchy experience. They were fine during my small move, but the payment process was insane. They took my CC info over the phone for a deposit when I booked the move. But then rather than just charge me for the remainder day of, the movers wanted to write my CC info on a form which they take back to their HQ. I said hell no and I had to Venmo him lol, super weird. read more

Ilkhom and his partner were there 15 minutes early, stayed hours late and were very pleasant and respectful. I've used 3 moving companies in the last 5 years and this was the best company by far. Setting up the move was easy and he gave me all the information I needed on a quick phone call. On the moving day, the truck and 2 men showed up on time and they were super quick and efficient. My move to Fort Collins was quicker than my 1 mile move in Denver with another company. I have moved from Chicago to Boston, within boston, Boston to Michigan, Michigan to Baltimore, Baltimore to Denver, and now, with local and long, I moved from Denver back to Boston. Needless to say, I have a lot of experience dealing with moving... I've also had some really great movers, and some really bad movers before. However, local and long are by far the absolute best movers I have ever had, and it's not even close. My move from Boston to Denver was for a four bedroom 2500 sq ft house full of furniture and boxes. This was an absolute MONSTER of a move from a logistics and handling perspective. That said, I am happy to say that with local n long everything I owned made it to Boston in one piece. Why? They were incredibly careful. Every single piece of furniture was meticulously wrapped in blankets and plastic. Every single box was carefully handled, such that not a single dish broke (I have 100+ glass items). Perhaps the most impressive thing was how well they packed the truck to fit everything. They stacked everything perfectly and used every inch of that truck to make it work. I've never seen better organization skills in a moving truck in my entire life. They were also probably the most punctual movers I've ever worked with; they showed up at 9am on the dot for pick up and drop off. Another nice surprise was how organized the front office was; multiple follow ups, reminders, and contacts before the move to make sure everything went smoothly. My mover, Matt, was also just a delightful human being above and beyond being an incredibly professional and talented mover. You should definitely request him if you can!! If I could give local n long ten stars I would. I would absolutely use them again for my next long distance move and they have my highest recommendation! read more

Entrusting somebody with everything that I own to load and transport it cross country was no easy feat. Fortunately, when I called this business I was greeted by somebody who was able to provide immediate information and create a sense of trust and confidence within moments. Courtney got right down to business and began calculating the dimensions and weight of my stuff. I had questions prior to booking, and she was easy to reach by phone, e-mail and text and she put up with me patiently. The movers who loaded were excellent young men and they wrapped everything up nice and securely. Very impressed. The movers who unloaded were also excellent and quick. Great business. These guys are fantastic and did everything to make sure our move went well. If I could give six stars I would!

We recently used Local N Long Distance Movers for our move in the Denver area, and they were fantastic from start to finish! Our move included two pickup locations and one final destination, and the whole process went so smoothly. Desmond, Matt, and Slava were quick, efficient, and incredibly friendly. They took great care to wrap all our furniture securely, and nothing was scratched or damaged. On top of that, they offered the most affordable rate by far compared to the other quotes we received--and even had a discount for cash payments. We highly recommend them for anyone planning a move! read more

Did an interstate move with LNL; Denver to Tampa. Surpassed my expectations. Everyone from the estimator to the sales rep to the packers, loaders and driver were lovely. Final price was exactly as quoted... no surprises. Arrived at the destination right on time -- actually offered to show up a day early. Does this review sound fake? Swear to god, it's not :) read more

Efficient and made sure to be careful with items. Also came prepared with extra supplies.

Found Local N Long Distance Movers via Yelp and I'm very happy I did! Contracting and pricing was fair; what set them apart for me was the fair pricing & the fact that they provide you with wardrobe boxes for clothing/hanging items -- was super helpful in cutting down packing stress. The movers were on time, courteous, and quick -- we finished my small 1b/1bath move locally in under 3 hours, so I only paid the minimum. My items were handled carefully and no damage. I'd definitely recommend them! read more

These are the best movers in town. They're also one of the cheapest. Matt and two other guys came on time. Communication was great throughout the move. They worked hard and fast. They navigated several floors of stairs at both places and expertly protected furniture. Even helped me pack a few things. I will recommend to everyone I know! Plus I got a 10% discount because I contacted them through yelp. read more

Update 6/20/24: Anna, in customer service, reached out to me to ask how they could make my experience with the company better. There really was nothing that could be changed, but she said they would address the problem and speak with dispatch on communication issues. They apologized for my experience. I appreciate that they reached out to apologize and try to prevent this from happening to any other customers in the future. ‐--------------------------------‐‐---------------------------------------------------------------------- After reading all of the amazing reviews about Local N Long Distance Movers, I thought I couldn't go wrong. Wrong. I hired the company to move my daughter's belongings from Denver to Texas. We did all of the packing, all they had to do was load the truck. The two men that showed up were efficient, fast and friendly. I paid for expedited moving. That would mean, they pick up the furniture on Monday, May 27th and it would arrive in Texas on Wednesday, May 29th between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. I contacted the company on the 29th to see if they had an arrival time. Dispatch didn't know. I called back and was then told that the truck was broken down and they were waiting on a repair truck. I asked dispatch where the truck was, and she said she didn't know and would call me back. They didn't call back, so I called again and she said they were in Amarillo and they should arrive by this evening on the 29th. Nothing. I called and left voicemails on 2 different numbers, would not get a call back, so I'd call again. I was contacted by the driver on the morning of May 30th. He sent a link to his location. He was in Clayton, NM, 2 hours away from Amarillo. So I was blatantly lied to about location from dispatch. I never received any calls back from anyone I left a voicemail to. The driver arrived on the evening of the 30th, with a different truck than what left Denver. He said the truck broke down and he had to wait for a new truck to arrive, so then our belongs had to be offloaded to the other truck. The people that were supposed to help him unload the truck never arrived. I wasn't given any updates or accurate information after the truck left my daughters apartment. The promise of delivery date and time wasn't kept. The lies about where the truck was and what was going on is NOT the way to run a business. I feel after the truck was loaded at the apartment, all service stopped then. I would not recommend this company. read more

I had a great experience with these super professional, efficient and thorough movers. Desmond and his team showed up on time and never stopped moving until the last article was in place at the new house. They were so careful with everything, as well, sparing no cost on wrapping and moving blankets (which they give you for free). Not one item was damaged or missing in the slightest. At the outset of this process, I was squeamish about spending the money but seeing them in motion made it clear how worth it the service was--they made a long, difficult task look fast and relatively easy. Their rate was more than fair, and better than several others I got quotes from. I'd absolutely use them again. read more
