    Here is where the mirror to my dresser will attach- hopefully, after I fix this.

    Too bad I cannot give ZERO STARS to Discipled Movers for the sloppy and overall terrible service that was rendered by Discipled Movers. I let the owner know and sent him photos (these, and more). He said this is a good training opportunity for his guys and he would give me the $34 I spent at Home Depot for the stapler, nails and clamps that I had to buy to repair my stuff. He then proceeded to tell me that I did a bad job of having things set up for the movers, that they complained that it was too much for 2 people, and that my furniture was old and previously broken, making this seem like my fault. He said he didn't SAY it was my fault, but everything he said pointed back to me and the problems with my stuff. I personally moved things around to make it easy and obvious as to what they were to take. I even left some things behind for later because they were not properly packed. I only had them take things that were ready to go. I am 65 years old and handicapped. I should not have had to move a single box when paying two young men to do it. These guys did not secure my items in the truck and it was all in a pile in the middle when we reached the 3rd stop. They said it was my fault because I changed lanes when they were following me. I was 2-3 blocks ahead going 25 mph, and stopping periodically to insure they could see my car. If the items had been padded and strapped in like the pictures on the Discipled Movers website they would not have all fallen into a pile and broken. I was charged $50 for packing supplies which I agreed to up front, but the only thing used was one thin strip of plastic to hold a cabinet door shut. They did no packing and no securing of my items in the truck, or at all aside from less than a pennies worth of plastic. I guess I should have zip tied it myself, but I expected to get my $50 worth. I clearly told the owner when setting this up that there would be 4 stops. He says I did not. There is no excuse for the things they did. They even threw my pillows on the dirty floor of the storage unit where were doing the final unload. I had to pick these and other things up and move them to make sure that stuff was safe and stacked better. As it is, it was too much for me- that is why I hired movers. I will still need to take a friend back and unload everything out of the storage unit and put it all back in a way where I will be able to access it, and also so that it is stacked sensibly. I even told the movers this. My desk was broken too. I told one guy (Corey) that it was very fragile and that it was always difficult to move. Even so, it has been moved by friends in the past month and was fully intact. My boyfriend was trying to show them how to stand it up to where the sturdy and heavier side was on the bottom so that it would not break from its own weight. They blamed him for the fact that despite his warning- THEY did not do this and it broke. The guy said "it's nothing a little wood glue can't fix". True. That's the spirit! Why should I be fixing my stuff after paying over $790 for this move. The move took 6 hours with some downtime included. I still have stuff to repair but have not had the time. Of course, I guess my time is not worth anything. In one of the photos I sent Noah the owner, he said he saw a glue line where my drawers had been previously repaired. Yes, I bought these used. I told him that. This furniture has been fine for 15+ years and 7 moves- not a crack. There is a deep gouge in the basement door where I moved from. I told (Paul) the mover not to worry about it because we needed to paint anyway. I felt bad for him because he looked visibly upset when I saw him do it. I try to be a nice person- too nice. I was trying to make a difficult move as efficient as possible by hiring a company rather that having 2 friends and a Uhaul take a day to do this. Next time I will get the Uhaul and my friends who will do a clean, considerate, and careful job for free. If Noah wants to reply here, I will add to this review by attaching his condescending text messages. I did not take the $34 from him for repairs. I had to tell him to leave me alone and stop making excuses and berating me. I just said that I try to be a nice person. I didn't demand anything for this terrible experience. I was just very upset when I started trying to put my drawers away and and put an end to the day. I called Noah after I realized that I would be up late doing repairs and shaking dirt and sticks out of my underwear. Right away he said there are two sides to every story and that he needed to talk to his guys. Sure, but the sides are not equal when someone pays to have a job done and ends up with a mess- making sure that I take some of the blame. DISCIPLED MOVERS- remember the name. Don't risk having a clown car come to move your stuff.

They showed up 5 hours late, yelled at me that I gave them a bad quote and refused to do my move which ended up costing me THOUSANDS. And spoiler, another company did the job in the time I was originally quoted by these people and for half the price. As a woman moving alone, these movers made me incredibly uncomfortable in the short time they were in my home. I called and got a quote over the phone. This was not unusual to me as I've only ever gotten phone quotes for moving and have never had issues in the past. I was quoted 2.5-3 hours with 3 movers. I called 5 other companies in the area and received similar quotes, I chose this company due to their availability. I scheduled my move for 4 days before I needed to be out of my place. They were scheduled to arrive between 12-3pm. At 3pm, I was told their morning job was taking much longer than anticipated but they should arrive within the hour. At 4pm I received a text from the team letting me know they were an HOUR AND A HALF away and would be stopping for food on their way. I contacted the "manager" and was assured they would be able to complete my move that day. The team showed up at 5:30pm, 5.5 hours late and I have never had movers be more disrespectful and demeaning toward me. My home was clean, fully boxed, and ready to be loaded. For $210/hour I was not about to waste time. They walked through my home to assess everything and Tyler, who is supposedly the best they have, was rude and disrespectful every step of the way. He yelled at me that there was no way they could do the move in the time quoted. Given that their morning job took 4-5 hours longer than anticipated, whoever is quoting jobs clearly doesn't know what they're doing. I was alone and the way their team treated me in my home made me incredibly uncomfortable, they yelled at me that I wasted their time, they drove to Fort Collins from Denver and their cars were in a storage unit in Denver that closed at 9pm. Even if they completed the job in the minimum quoted time, they still wouldn't have made it back to Denver in time to collect their vehicles so I don't see how that was my problem but he sure made it my problem. Tyler told me the move would take a team of 4 movers at least 7 hours to complete. To be clear, this was a two bedroom townhome, not a 5 bedroom house. As I was about to throw them out of my home for being so demeaning and disrespectful, they offered to step out and call their manager. At 6pm I received a call from the manager who told me the team claimed there were 150 boxes in my home and they would not be doing the move. When I argued that was absolutely not the case (i counted and there were 56 boxes, 6 large, 15 medium, 25 small, and 10 plastic tubs) I was told he didn't know who to believe...um excuse me?!? He offered to reschedule for another day at more than DOUBLE my initial quote. After the experience his "best guy" had to offer, there was no way I would ever agree to pay them even my original quote let alone $1800?! I told him this was unacceptable and explained the financial impact, all I got was "sorry, we wish you the best of luck with your move" after wasting 6 hours of my time and costing me thousands. This was a huge waste of my time and costly. I deliberately scheduled the move on my day off with several days after to do final small things and clean before handing over keys. A new tenant was scheduled to move in shortly after. Because of this company's laziness and incompetence, I had to pay an additional month rent and the next tenant's move was also impacted. I am truly beside myself at what a horrible experience this was. Now for the kicker - I hired another company to do my move the following week. I hired two movers and anticipated an 8 hour move due to what I was told by this team. I was genuinely afraid to do the walkthrough given what happened with moving brothers. I explained what happened and the new quote I was given and the new movers laughed. They said this team took too long at their job in the morning, ate and sat in the truck for an hour, and when they showed up they were tired or lazy and simply didn't want to do the job. They said the 7 hour quote was an FU to me since they drove up to Fort Collins. It took the new movers FOUR HOURS TOTAL. And cost me less than moving brothers original quote including a 40% tip. NEVER give this company your business. They will leave you up a creek without a paddle without so much as an apology. I'm grateful they requested cash payment and didn't require a deposit as they will never get a penny from me. I will tell anyone and everyone I know to avoid this company!
