3 months into storage (after starting June 2025) they doubled my storage rate from $84 to $168 and only notified me via postal mail. Not even email notification after I paid until I got a charge and receipt. Double is crazy... then I had to call and talk to multiple people to talk it down to $104 while they still had a plethora of open units open that were less expensive. Update: July 2026 -- they again nearly doubled my rent to $184... without texting, calling or emailing. This is just bad business. read more

Walked in the office on Friday and asked for a 10' X 30' drive up space , lady in the office took me to the storage and showed it to me and I liked it then she offered me I can put it on hold for you for 4 days I said awesome I'll be back Tuesday morning to sign a contract and pay for the first month and she said perfect we'll see you Tuesday, Monday at 2:30 she calls and says the unit has been rented out, I canceled the other spots I took a look to take this one but they prefer money over customer service read more

They raised my monthly rate by 76% after just four months, from $131 to $231! That's extreme bait and switch. They do this after you get all your stuff moved in, in hopes it will cost you more to move elsewhere than pay the much higher rent. read more

This business has terrible practices. My rent just went up 38 percent! I've only had the unit for a small time. Just a few months. It was not an introductory price either and I've read others having gone through this as well. I will be moving my things before they charge even more. I was not even notified! I would steer clear of this place they are thieves. I also double checked and the rents are listed the same as when I rented so this is not an increase due to demand. There are plenty of empty units as well. This is a bait and switch move hoping it will be too difficult for you to move your things and you will just pay the money. Horrible. Word of advice, search Reddit reviews before renting with this company. I wish I had. I'm angry enough to give them no stars but the local store staff was so helpful (+1) and the facility is brand new, clean and well lit (+1). I'm deducting 3 stars for sleazy corporate actions. I rented a partially obstructed space for $138/month, and 3 months later they raised the rent to $212 (+35% rate increase) with no notice in any form. If I didn't check my statement I wouldn't even know it had happened. I specifically declined their Move in Special that cost $170/month with a free first month, in order to secure the normal (lower) rate for an ongoing rental. Response from the corporate is that the contract allows them to raise the rate, which is true, but a 35% increase after a short rental is just sleazy. I'm moving out asap and you should avoid this place. read more

We have had our RV there for about six months. Got broken into and then again less than 2 weeks later. No cameras to view footage so it's just damages and lost items. I can't say enough about the ease of obtaining a storage unit at this beautiful location. Riley provided us with A+ customer service from start to finish. The facility is impeccably clean, including the restroom. The rates are reasonable for the storage size needed as well as the price options for insurance. And the building security at every access point definitely sets this company apart from its competitors. I had to transfer from a space I'd rented online and Tara made the paperwork part easy and quick. She and other staff I've encountered here have been patient, professional and customer-oriented. This location is very clean, safe, high tech and quiet. I've used Extra Space at multiple locations for various work and personal business and I've always had great help from the staff. I'm sad to have to give a negative review. Unfortunately, the policies here are not transparent. I rented a small locker for less than $90 per month. This amount was already high for a small locker. In less than a year, prices increased twice without notice. $125 for a small locker??! Um, no! I will go elsewhere. Please avoid this greedy place! read more

While waiting for window company to fix my broken windows my RV was again vandalized. This time RV cover cut. Window and screen broken Door broken. And items stolen from inside RV.
