11 REASONS YOU SHOULD NEVER COME HERE!!! If they had a negative rating for this place, I would give it that. My nails came out cracked, chipped and peeling!!! I came here for my first and last time. I got my usual, acryllic, polish, and gel coating. (1) I was there for over 3 hrs. (2)They had me move my seat 4 times to give new comers the station I was already in...really rude and inconvenient...they could've just let me stay in one place and given the other women the other seats instead! and to top if off I had to (3) walk across their dirty floor with my bare, in the middle of a pedicure feet!! I asked for a spa pedicure and fill on my mani, they only did my pedi in the spa and told me they could not do my nails there, even though shortly after I moved the first time, (4) they did exactly what I had wanted to another woman in the spa (her pedi and mani fill at the sae time in the spa). (5) When I asked for a flower design on my big toes and ring fingers, they said they could not, even if I paid extra...so no designs? Not even a simple one? Now for the worst parts. (6) On my way home, I noticed that one of my nails had half way scrapped off. This has NEVER happened with acrillyic and gel coating!!! EVER! Then I noticed that my nails were chipped and cracking! (7) This got progressively worse by the next day, so I went back for a refund. (8) The manager Mindy refused my refund. and told me I had to go back when Nancy (the one who did my nails) was back. I came two days in a row to both of them already gone for the day ?!? I think they were hiding in the back. (9) and I can not forget the scene that Mindy the manager made when I asked for my refund, she got so disrespectful and loud with me that people who were inside left and a group of girls coming in decided not to. Good thing too, because it would've been a waste of their time. I can not believe what a bad job was done and to top it off, the attitude that was given and a refusal of a refund. They can go ahead and keep my $, but I hope that no one else will bother to waste their time and money on this place. (10) Do yourself a favor and find another nail salon instead. You'll be a lot happier. (11) Also, When they did my nails, they didn't lotion, massage, buffer, or clean up the cuticles....isn't that what a mani/pedi is? When i asked why they didn't do that with me, she said they don't do that there!!! PS I posted the picture of my cracked, chipped, and peeled nails. The photo was taken immediately after I left. I'm really not happy with this place. I got my nails done on Friday first after 4hrs the whole top coat smudge and the next day I took my son to the park where I put sun screen on and soon after I could feel my nails very sticky so I called crystal (manger) and also the one that did my nails and she told me just to come in and it was a chemical reaction. I been getting my nails done since middle school that's not soppose to happen. and I'm here now and she making me wait? Why.. idk. Which that makes me more of unhappy customer.. Worst service ever. Polish was uneven, nails were too thin, two nails came off and 3 lifted within 3 days. Went back to get it fixed and was told to come back tomorrow because they were closed. It was 625pm. They close at 7pm. Went to vons next door, walked by and she took 2 clients after she said it was closed. Not one client was in there when I walked in. Never again will I go there. I waited for the 2nd time to do a review over the place. I am not thrilled with how my nails we're done this time. The nail tech that was doing my nails got some of my skin on both hands. Every single nail. Not thrilled with paying 32.00 for a fill for gel nails when a full set of gel is 35.00. I understand why the full set is so much but for a fill being 3.00 less? Nope. I ended up here because Urban Escape, across the street, was packed. So I found this place on Yelp. Anyways, there was only one person there around 1pm on a friday and so I was quickly helped. They were very quick and courteous, which is exactly what I wanted. I opted for the Spa Chair Pedicure... it cost 16, a bit more because you sit in the massage chair. The massage chair kind of hurt though, so I didn't really like that. But whatever. Overall, good place. Very bad place and customer service don't go there, I got acrylic nails (short style) and a pedicure. Let me start by saying the acrylic broke the next day my pedicure is very bad the color is not smooth it looks nasty choppy. When I went in the next day to show how my acrylic broke and let me tell you it was the thumb one that is hard to break since is bigger. Broke I went in nicely to show and I even remembered my color number so they could not say No, they just sat me down with very bad attitude. They started all talking in their language saying things. The guy that fixed it did it in a badly manner, then he just left me there drying my nail. The lady that had done my nails was there she didn't even stood up to see or say sorry she turned around and looked at me bad. While one day before I even tipped her for her job. Well they just left me drying my nail no ONE said sorry. The nail looks crappy to start with and plus the Chinese guy hurt my finger nail I even have a bleed corner so rude. It was first time going and had a very bad experience I had never had gotten this kind of service. I would not recommend getting a gel manicure here. I came here after reading great reviews...and it was down the street from my son's basketball practice. This is not my usual nail place, and for a good reason. I will not be back. I got a simple gel manicure. It took way too long. 30 minute job took well over an hour! They gave me the wrong color, but by the time we got to that point, I was so over this place that i didn't care what color they were giving me, I just wAnted out of there! I come here when I need my nails and toes done. I go to Mindy she's the best. This place has been around forever like 20yrs I think. My mani and pedi last about two to three weeks depending on what I'm doing during that time, this is just the regular polish not the gel. I don't know why there are people saying they have had stuff stolen right off their bodies lol. Because if anyone wanted to take something from me they would have to knock me out first, I just don't think any of these older ladies are capable of such things. Here is what I love about this place...the best massage chairs I have ever experienced..besides that typical nail salon with usual prices for pedicures and fills. The staff is usually pretty friendly...they will let you stay on the chair as long as you want unless they are busy...and a plus they don't bother you to add on things that you don't want or ask for. So if you want a great massage while you get your toes "did" then give them a try...only other bad thing is they are not open on Sundays and they do charge you extra for using a credit card. read more

I like going here for a mani-pedi, but DO NOT get eyebrow tattoos by the owner!! When I went in for a consultation I showed her a picture and said this is what I would like it was pretty much the same shape as the eyebrows I have and everything was fine, until the day came for me to have my eyebrows done and I showed her the picture again, she didn't even want to look at the picture and said 'I know' so when she did the outline of the eyebrows I told her they were too thick and they were not correctly even .. my left eyebrow seems to be shaped okay my right is thicker and bulky.. this is permanent and it does not come off so now I am screwed and have to have a little bit of it laser removed and have redone correctly!!she charged me $200 for a crappy job!! this is permanent on someone's face!! it should be heard what the customer wants and what the customer should receive!!.. especially when you're paying $200 to have it done correctly in the first place.. I would not recommend eyebrow Tattoos by this Salon whatsoever ( hence the 3 stars).. I will start with what I felt went right and then why I gave it one star. POSITIVES: 1. I called for an appointment and when I arrived, I was seen quickly. 2. The shop was clean. 3. There wasn't incessant conversation between the ladies while I was there. 4. The customers were friendly. 5. Prices are in line with other shops that offer spa chairs. NEGATIVES: 1. The process took too little time. My regular shop usually takes an hour from the time I sit down to the time I put my shoes on to finish drying. 2, My big toe nails were cut at a slight angle and she didnt see anything wrong with it. When I ask her to redo it, she did but she was very hesitant to do so. 3. The lack of communication annoyed me. 4. After painting my toes, I noticed bubbles. She did fix it but used so little nail polish, it only looked like one coat was applied. 5. After the redo, I had to ask her to clean up my skin. There was purple in places there shouldnt have been. 6. As she was finishing the clean up, two customers walked in for pedicures. She went into hyper drive at this point, ignoring me to move on to the next dollar. 7. After the redo and the removal of paint from flesh, she put a small fan in a chair to dry them. As she was so busy to move on to the next customer, she didnt make sure it was stable on the chair and it fell on my foot, smearing three of the toes. I had to tell her FIVE times that toe #3 was smeared and needing repairing also. Up to #5, I had decided that it might not be a bad place to go back to, in case of emergency but after she checked out to attend to others before making sure I was taken care of and having to tell her so many times to fix my third toe, I'm taking a pass. read more
