All the staff have been so friendly and knowledgeable about plant care, making Maricopa Botanicals truly an all around wonderful business. The young lady refused to take the gloves back because they were used. I told her I knew that as I was the one who used them. After several verbal exchanges and her picking at the shredded glove, I got upset and called her a blockhead. (Not good by me) She said I had to see a store Manager. I just returned from attempting to return the gloves and buy a better pair, and Austin, the store manager, also refused the return, and I told him I would never be back. He smiled and said goodbye. I guess at $17.00 pair of gloves is worth really ticking off a customer. It's all smiles while buying, but not when you try and return a defective pair of gloves and buy a more expensive pair. I am done shopping at ACE. I want to buy locally, but I guess the cost of acquiring a new customer is less than $17.00. The store will not suffer one bit from my choice, but it is my choice to make. We had previously received great service but this past experience was a bit odd. The paint associate seemed like he had no interest in being there whatsoever and was super unhelpful and bored when we asked a few questions on best paint for our project. The previous associate Matt was so stellar, super helpful and personable, I'm not sure if he's there anymore, but he was great. We most likely will return if the occasion arises, but I'd probably avoid their period section if I saw the same associate again.

One could be way cheaper than the other, so hold on to those receipts or if you have the app, returns/exchanges are no problem! While you're here, there's a Starbies inside if you need anything lil pick-me-up while you shop. Employees are pretty helpful and friendly.
